What an interesting run. I loved how you guys took the gondola over the river. Not from the UK so it was cool seeing what is out there. Not much in the way of that in the mountain west of the USA where I am from (if you like Mountain Trail runs -- we've got plenty of that here). Don't have Parkruns here -- I wonder how competitive I'd try to be in them -- I know they aren't races, but I wonder how I would approach them. Glad to see Chris is running. Enjoyed the video and thanks for taking me along.
Thank you Eddie! The trails sound amazing 😍. Ha with Parkrun, it’s difficult not to be competitive sometimes, they’re so much fun! You’re welcome Eddie and thanks again for continuing to support our channel! 😃
Congrats on the sub 22, and good luck at the London Half (if you haven't already run it, that is). I just ran my first ever half-marathon on Saturday and got a 1:46:50. 3rd in age division and 23rd overall so I got to take home some extra hardware. My legs went completely dead by mile 9, but I pushed through to the end. It was super fun!
Thank you and massive well done - that’s a great effort 👏🙌🏻. I’ve ran the half and got a similar time, 1:46:41!!! There’s a video of it on our channel from April! Impressive stuff on coming third in your age group! Massive well done from us and thanks for the continued support 😃
I have just found your channel and absolutely love all your parkrun videos! I ran through all those puddles with you at Wynyard Woodland event #2, and also ticked V off my alphabet at Victoria Dock last year, so I relate to all your videos very much! I am based in Durham and do a lot of local touring so hope to bump into you at a NE parkrun sometime :)
Aw welcome to the channel Kendra! It’s so lovely to hear that you’ve enjoyed the videos - and shared a similar Parkrun journey! 😃 we go to Durham Parkrun a lot and do lots of tourism, so hopefully we’ll bump into you soon! Please come and say hi! 😊
I imagine it’s really tough when windy! Thank you for watching - and congrats on your marathons. Doing Manchester marathon without fuelling is quite the achievement 👏😊
Great time Chris. You must be pleased with that. Well done! 👏👏👏
Thank you! 😃 and thanks for watching and the support! 🙌🏻
