Lorna is incredible (as are you for trekking all over the place to try and spot her) god I loved her reaction when she saw you!! 😂 And Tower Bridge is the most stunning bridge in the whole world!! Anyone who says different is lying. I've loved it since we went there when I was in primary school (so about 38 years or so). It's so beautiful and if i'm ever lucky enough to run London, Im absolutely sure there will be tears at the halfway point over the bridge. Hope Lorna has recovered well now (and you after Manchester. because of you i've signed up for Manchester next year, you sold it to me!) :)
Ah that’s brilliant, you’ll really enjoy it! I thought it was great fun. Yeah, I think Lorna’s recovered, she’s talking about another one so must be fine! Tower Bridge was spectacular, definitely one of the course highlights from what I’ve heard!
Absolutely class video! Well done Lorna, Howay the lass!! Great content and has made me want to get down and spectate one year. Was lucky enough to be part of the class of 23 and it is a day i will never forget. Great to see from a spectators point of view. Keep up the incredible work Al the content you put is first class.
Fun video! I spectated for a few friends this year. Its really tough to pick people out. And I knew what they were wearing! Missed one entirely. Which was disappointing. I was going from the app, but I don't think it was updating quickly enough. So if it said they were at 15km they were probably at 16k already. The atmosphere is so very special on marathon day!
Another awesome video, it was nice to see you spectate and get the behind the scenes of a run for a change. OBVIOUSLY a MASSIVE congrats to Lorna, she absolutely smashed it! I’ve already put my name in the ballot for next year.
@@AlPepperRuns finished in 4.46.18. First and last Road marathon as I am not sure I could top it. My friends and family walked a marathon to support me ( according to my husband!). Off to do the Lap next month first Ultra. May take a bit longer….Keep up the great work as love your banter and videos.
@@KarenWinters-mp2ow haha, you might be tempted to do another at some point! Good luck with the lap, I’m running the second one later this year! Thanks and congratulations again!
Brilliant video, loved seeing it from a spectators view as I was also running it! And wow well done Lorna, brilliant run that. So emotional when you caught her on the course and she came to give you a hug, I saw people doing that and you cant help but smile and feel emotional for them! Brilliant! 🥰
Thank you and huge well done to you too! How did you get on? I was absolutely buzzing when we saw her, it’s emotional as a spectator, let alone running it!
@@AlPepperRuns thanks! I abs loved it but ran with a knee injury so it was painful pretty much the whole way. Still happy with 4:41! Ive already entered next years ballot 😁
Well done Lorna !! Great to meet you and make the edit, My Son Sam did 4hrs 10 in, we are so proud of him.
Great video as always
Hi John! Great meeting you too and huge well done Sam! That’s a blooming brilliant time!

So sweet. Congrats, Lorna!
She was brilliant wasn’t she!
I'm fairly sure the guy in the denim cut off shorts is Anthony Gerundini - I've seen those shorts at various Hardmoors events and Hell on the Humber!
Ah really? I’d not met him before London. I think he mentioned doing some pretty awesome events though! Thanks for the heads up.
Cracking video. Well done Lorna. Absolutely mint effort.
Thank you! She was class and I had a brilliant day spectating! Win win!
So sweet.
Thank you! The whole day was brilliant!
Well done Lorna, and Al Lidl do an amazing Portuguese tart 🤛🏃♀️🏃♀️
Thanks for the tip! I’m a sucker for a Portuguese tart so will check it out! I’ve heard they’re one of your five a day!
