I found mine free in a ditch. 😆 It had a $15 price tag from a yard sale, but I guess once the sale was done they just threw all their stuff into the ditch. It was actually cleaner than you might find one at a thrift store considering where I found it. Looks like it was never used. Came onto YT to figure out what it was and how to use it and found your video. I thought it was for grilling meat and veggies, but nice to see it can be used for baking. Thanks for the info!
Wow, you scored! I've only used mine 3-4 times. Every time I see you do a video with yours I tell myself I'll start using it.........maybe someday. LOL Banana bread looked awesome, so will have to try that out. Big scoop of vanilla ice cream would have hit the spot.
Mom had a full sized one, dang I wished I could have bought it in the estate sale, but I'm sure I can find one in the thrift store or at GW I will buy it up.
It is cheating from a box but pretty good. It is a convection oven so a little less than the boxes say to cook for in a conventional oven. I think it was just 30 minutes like I said in the video.
Wander Dano your a lucky man Dan'O, Lol I don't even own one yet , the people I know do and were I worked in the food business did , plus I'm not trying to plug there business but they are a " awesome " tool to have ! well TTYL.
same for me - just sharing my opinion. I was actually contacted by NuWave but I choose not to "endorse" anything. Just want to share my HONEST opinions.
Ange came across one of the mini's at a goodwill store recently and it was about $8, but she wouldn't buy it. WE love our regular NuWave oven, but a bit too big to carry in the RV....
I understand but for me ... my NuWave is by far TOP of my list of favorite RV gadgets. I wouldn't want to take a full sized one either but that is why the mini is perfect.
+Jerry Densmore Hey Jerry. I have a square convection oven. So then this one works the same way right. Now I know that it just is round instead of square my question was answer by the chief himself! Lol
If you go to the channel main screen there is a tab that says ABOUT.. click on that and then about the middle towards the center right there is an icon that looks like a text box.. click on that and it will allow you to type and send a private message. :)
Dano, you dirty "dawg"!!! You didn't buy that for $5. You "stole" it for $5! LOL... That is a score of a lifetime dude! Very handy though for cooking your main dish in one and desert or side dish in the other or flip it and sell it on ebay for $100... They are very spendy on ebay... You lucky ducky!
I think you are right.. about as good a deal as I've ever gotten. Funny you say that because I have tried to promise myself not to take BOTH on all trips. lol
Great stuff Dano! To make it better...slice your banana bread, put it in a toaster for a bit to crisp it up. Butter and honey....Yum!
there are more things on the way.... ;)

You have got to be the king of thrift store finds.
that right there is number one or two on thrift store finds for me. I didn't know what to expect....
Mom had a full sized one, dang I wished I could have bought it in the estate sale, but I'm sure I can find one in the thrift store or at GW I will buy it up.
Yeah - when I saw a second one at the thrift store - I couldn't pass it up. :) very hard to find
local craigs list they pop up there occassionally
I bought one today on offerup.com...went directly and picked it up! Thanks Wander Dano
synchronized bread baker, Dano what will you think of next? Great score on the mini II.

Nothing like warm piece of banana bread with butter on top...mmmm
great stuff!! :)
Only thing missing are the nuts on top 😊. You got a great deal. Safe travels.
skipping those was by choice. lol
Very nice, & very worthwhile purchase Dan! But hey, wheres your big ole scope of vanilla ice cream to go with the banana bread lol?
ohhh I wish!!! compromises must be made in tiny Class B freezer/fridge. lol but don't think that tiny fridge doesn't drive me crazy. :)
we just bought a nu wave mini for 10 bucks at our goodwill
NICE !! When I saw another one at the thrift store I just couldn't stop myself. lol
$12.50 for me , great investment . I don’t use my regular oven anymore.
Can't find one!😭😨😥
It was fun to watch this comparison. Did any of your neighbors comment about the two NuWaves you had for cooking? Hahahha
one was like I've never seen one and you have two lol
Nice Find Dano!!
SUPER lucky find ! I almost passed it by then came to my senses. :)
It's really interesting what can be found in the resale shops!
some treasures hidden behind some junk lol
That banana bread looks amazing,i love banana bread.
How long does it take to cook in the nu wave?

Brilliant video

Wander Dano your right on the money there Dan'O.

+Wander Dano apparently isn't wasn't in a "clean" condition either. lol
ahhh - I hear ya! the far too common thrift store problem lol
Do you think this wrks better than a convection oven? I can smell the bread!
It is kinda a small convection oven - it uses a fan to move the heat and can cook from frozen
+Jerry Densmore Hey Jerry. I have a square convection oven. So then this one works the same way right. Now I know that it just is round instead of square my question was answer by the chief himself! Lol
What is the power usage of the mini?
750W on max power
Nice!..my Honda eu1000i will run it!
Thanks for the video
Glad you enjoyed
Are you using an modified sine wave inverter?
These were plugged directly into the shore power outlets.
If you had one ... why did you want another one? Just cuz’ it was a killer deal?
Because they are not made any more and are so hard to find. I figured I couldn't pass on a back-up favorite RV cooking gadget. :)
Wander Dano I get that now ... of course now I want one!!!! No where to be found ... I’ll keep looking
They are sadly tough to find but there are things that do similar. Many seem to like those Airfryers :)
Wander Dano can I send you a private email? Not real tech savvy ... can’t see how
