Hi guys! Weirdly, a random part in the middle got blocked by Netflix! It is only a minute or so, so I hope it doesn't affect the video too much!!
I've been hearing from some reactors that some of riots arcane work had some licenses expire (more specifically music related) so people have been having a lot of issues with Netflix blocks. Not sure exactly what that's all about
Very interesting! Weirdly, this claim was audio-visual, so I am guessing that minute appeared in another video? Either way, I hope it didn't affect the video too much, and I'll keep an eye out for the licensing stuff!

I love that they are only doing 2 seasons. There are so many other amazing stories in that world and characters I want to get to know even better. It'd be sad to stretch out content for no reason other than Arcane being popular.

Regarding Jayce looking like Darius and Garen, it makes sense when you think of it from a game design perspective. Players want a big strong guy, but with different style focuses. Darius uses this massive axe and is pure offense. Jayce uses a hammer and has his magic shield, for a more defensive style. And Garen uses a sword, and is more paladin-like. Then sprinkle in a little of where they came from in the world, and voila, new character.
The public face part of their personalities starts being built up in the music videos, as most people are never going to read the stories tucked away on the website. Darius shows up in A New Dawn, and Garen shows up first in A Twist of Fate, and Legends Never Die. Their styles are rather easy to represent in a short video like that. Jayce, however, really needs more background to make him make sense, and Arcane provided a massive amount of that. In fact, many people felt like Arcane Jayce was a rather notable departure from original canon Jayce, though part of that was also the timeline of events. (Hextech was apparently already a thing before Jayce, rather than being his invention.)
Arcane takes a general scratchpad of ideas that has accumulated from creating 150+ characters over 10+ years (so basically a new character every month, on average, more or less), and tried to make them truly fit into a story and world in a coherent form.
And finally, as a little aside, Vi is wearing Claggor's goggles in that test fight video, but obviously never had them in season 1. However the teaser trailer for season 2 shows her wearing them. So we're getting closer to her "in game" character look, and who knows? Maybe we'll get that Vi/Jayce fight after all.
I definitely like the way less glammed-up version of Vi in Arcane more than her "original" design, partly seen in Warriors. She's an undercity street tough, not a fashion model. On the other hand, I like the more glammed-up version of Cait more than the mundane, weatherbeaten cop look we see in the season 2 teaser trailer. I do kinda wonder if she's going to get her top hat from that group of ChemBaron lackeys following the rabid yordel crime boss.

speculations says we are going towards Noxus via Mels mom, most likely. Possibly, going towards shurima via hextex crystal mining, or Ionia via Noxus and Singed

Also very recently we got an inclient minigame that introduces us to the new upcoming champion (aurora), i recommend watching Necrits playthrough! its been very fun, but watching him beeing all excited and playing it myself!
3:05 in arcane it still has to be Jayce, tho i might be biased, cuz he was kinda the first handsome adult guy released in the game. Also ingame it depends, i like playing annoying/playful stuff. currentl maining Zoe and Hwei. But when it comes to characters as in personality and all, i just rly love the sassy guys like Aurelion Sol, Velkoz and Rakan, or the reason i started playing waaay back: Veigar.

It is a good detail that you noticed. Kinda. You're talking about Garen(Demcian) and Darius(Noxian)
The fun part is that Jayce in that version is mostly "generic white fantasy man" and that exactly what Garen and Darius were.
Once lor was simple:Demacia is good, Noxus is bad. And Garen was simple +-paladin arcetype.
Way later Darius appeared as sorta "anti Garen".
Lor is rewriten now but both of them still have that generic bit about them, so no wonder that this Jayce remind you of them
Honestly, the dumbass-but-a-brilliant-scientist Jayce is the best thing they could do for him. Watching such a flawed character develop is so much more fun than... Tony Stark? That's still his lore in the game, right?
As much as I like Piltover's story, I'm glad that we won't be draging it.
BTW I think it would be natural if second "story" would be about Noxus since we already familiar with them.
Also my favorite champion is Swain and I would realy like to see him in Arcane-like series.
(To support my copium, he and/or his ravens started to appear more in recent Leauge's story bits)
Idk if you already watched it, but the day the season 2 trailer dropped off, Christian also made a video explaining that since the beginning they knew the story of the 2 sisters would be only 2 seasons, and they already had an end in mind. He also said that they've already have other shows and films on the works, and that they will talk about it at the end of the year.
I've been following them since 2019, when the first arcane announcement trailer came out, and in 2020 they started forming two teams: a live action show and film team, and a animation show and film team, and all these years they've been hiring people, including former netflix executives, for these 2 teams, so we can expect a League/Runeterra cinematic universe with both animated and live action shows and films soon.

Riot is based in North Hollywood, Christian is of Alsatian(French German) descent and Alex is of Japanese descent, they both have American and European dual citizenship. Fortiche is based in Paris and first collaborated with Riot on the "Get Jinxed" video.

Jinx singing "She's such a loser, always ready to cry" in the game is her mocking & parodying Vi's theme song. It's called "Here Comes Vi" and it's very underrated.
hey i played league for something like 15 xears almost now so i am a veteran who started playing in season 2 what was 2010.
And my favourite champions lore wise are AAtrox, Kayn Fiddlesticks and Yone and playing wise its Yasuo and Zed, and currently Ekko aswell
Also i love almost every lore there is so much good stuff.
but Aatrox especially hits super different accually he has my most favourite lore out of them all

There will be other series and even film. They will focus on other regions. They will give the same treatment to other Champions like they did to VI and Jinx. I suspect it would be either Ionia or about the Ruination. They will have an announcement by the end of the year.

Not sure really what to say, because even saying to stay away from certain things could be a spoiler in itself, but I think (depending on your definition) there could be a spoiler like you described in investigating one of the characters
Also, if you're gonna check voice lines, there's two characters(that don't apper in Arcane) that were forshadowing and of episode 3 in their quotes to Jinks. It's Fiddlesticks and Swain.
(If you're gonna check their or any other quotes I recomend videos that show to whom they adressed)
Skin Spotlight is the channel to go to for that.
If you start of with voicelines you absolutely have to start with aatrox and kindred and please read their lore stories before so you understand the depth of their voicelines
I think you missed a lot of the on screen text that popped up because you were looking away.
If you want to avoid potential spoilers from characters and voicelines. DO NOT look at or listen to the league of legends version of Victor and Warwick.
Silco's definitely dead. A lot of people try to tie the characters from the show to existing characters, and most of the time it's about absolutely banal stuff like "Oh, Silco has a damaged eye? There's a character in League with a damaged eye!", without taking into account that those characters already have a backstory that doesn't put them anywhere near Piltover and Zaun. So yeah, stay strong, Silco's dead and bringing him back would be wack.
