Mia Jenness was 11 when she said her lines. She was 16 when they made the documentary. Ella Purnell is the voice actress for Jinx and plays Lucy in Fallout.

What makes her performance even more impressive is she had only done one voice role prior for a far more kid-centric show and before that had only done school plays although her mom was also a professional theatre actress and acting coach from New York City.

I agree that Cassandra has more depth that people give her credit for. She's a matriarch, but she clearly loves and values her husband and daughter. She's the first one into a room with a steadily aimed rifle when there may be intruders (Caitlyn really is a chip off the block here). She may be overly focused on appearances, but she'll arrange a special audience for her daughter with the council because she trusts her. She's a little offhand about Vi initially, but I think she actually warms to her at the council hearing - she seems to indicate Caitlyn should go after her. .. and in the end, she votes for Zaun's independence (not that I think that is straightforwardly a good thing, but that's another topic entirely).

Ray Chen has collaborated with Riot a few times so I thinks it's pretty cool he had a cameo in Arcane.

The fighting game, "2xko", formerly Project L has been running an alpha test lab. They had started giving out keys to those that sign up for it, however I think it is about to end(Not Sure). The characters in it right now are, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, Braum, Ahri, Yasuo. In the earlier stages they had Jinx and Katarina, however they had mentioned that it was still not up to par with their expectations, but that they are working on Jinx before it comes out or something like that.
Edit: Just like the The Swarm, Apparently According to Google, It ends in Aug 19.

schnee has a video about Sevika and how she mirrors VI in a lot of aspects... it's pretty cool

43:00 Riot's fighting game (2XKO) is literally in public alpha test right now. There are tons of videos on UA-cam of people playing it, if youare interested. Currently there are 6 playable characters: Yasuo, Ahri, Illaoi, Braum, Ekko and Darius. Jinx is confirmed but they are still working on her.

The reactions I've seen to Vi hitting Powder run the gamut from someone punching a hole in their drywall in outrage, to calling Powder a who needs to be un-lifed. Peoplewatching Arcane reactors can be quite eye-opening.

Hey, Veggie! Don't worry about talking too much. My only worry would be that YOU miss out on some dialogue. We (i would assume) have already seen the show. We came here to see YOUR thoughts! ❤️

Your League reactions are always a win!
I'd love if you checked out PopCross Studios and Thorgi's Arcade in the future.
Popcross has excellent videos focused on illustrations and character designs combined with narrated storytelling. His original works, Multiverse Tales and Vigilants, are both beyond incredible, and he has multiple great miscellaneous videos on many popculture topics and franchises!
Thorgi usually focuses on fighting games and his Retrospectives and Build the Roster series are super in-depth and fun to watch and learn!

God's a good video and music, but if you have no context, it's pointless.

I'm letting my pessimist side show but from the S2 trailers I'm concerned with both the animation and the dialogue. Not that it's bad animation or bad dialogue - but S1 had 6 years to revise and improve and now S2 has had 2 years. There HAS to be something sacrificed when you take away 4 years of tweaking and improving and correcting - the S2 trailer looked like the animation lost some of the painted feel - the motion lost some of the "grounded in realism" in S1 - I think having 1/3 of the time to make the same number of episodes is gonna show. Again, not that anything is "bad" about S2 - it will I'm sure still be better than the competition - but I don't think they will be able to compete with themselves because a 6 year production for a single season sets the bar in every single category incredibly high.

Your math is all wrong since it's been 3 years since season 1 released, and huge amounts of time within that 6 years was down to getting the story right and working out production process/problems. Completely normal to be apprehensive on whether it will live up to expectations but I very much doubt the animation will have diminished in quality.

They know how to do it now, ofc it doesn't take as long to make future seasons when figuring everything out and also planning out Season 2 while not having released S1 yet

The trailers were not good. I am speculating as to "why" and hypothesizing that it's because of the reduction in time. If that's not the reason that doesn't make the trailers good - it just means I need to come up with another hypothesis for why they aren't good. I see worse animation - that's just clear to my eyes - WHY is it worse? Less time makes the most sense - if you tell me it's not due to less time then maybe less money, if not less money maybe different people on the animation team...ultimately I'm just searching for a reason why the 2 S2 trailers left me feeling empty when S1 is still the best animated show I have ever seen and I was going into the trailers with all the passion and excitement possible.

It looks just as good though…perhaps the newer character designs are throwing you off, but the show hasn’t diminished in any way visually. The new sneak peek showed a tremendous amount of detailed and expressive animation , especially on that Yordle character.I think you just need the full uncut scenes to really take it all in and appreciate it.Don’t forget, they didn’t animate the show for 6 years, they were figuring out the art style, rewriting the scripts again and again, finding talent, hiring new people. They have everything they need now to produce more so of course the production time is faster.

@@thelordofteacupsandcoffee2031 It looks too clean - too crisp - sort of mass produced (which again tracks with less time) the colors were too vibrant with no grain and less texture. Those thoughts never popped in during S1 and then were instantly noticeable on the S2 trailers - it was a system shock because I wasn't prepared to think the animation had changed but the minute the trailer started that was my first thought. Then I was just proceeding on to try to figure out why for my own edification. Less time was the most obvious reason to me. Once the season comes out IMDB will let me compare the art department staff to see who was on the first 9 eps and who is on the S2 eps IF I still feel like there is something off when the actual show is available.
