Thank you! Especially for pointing out, that it does not matter if you do 100 poses or just one pose. I feel it also concerns the stance you take in daily life. Finding the balance between stability and comfort within all of life's aspects. Namaste and blessings. xxx

yoga is no philosophy and even though there is a bunch of philosophies around and about Yoga, Patanjali gives a shit about it, and so am I and so should you. and why? because philosophy is about reasoning and logical thinking and yes, Patanjali goes into it, just to make a point that you need to go beyond it. so if you are doing Yoga for the wellness of your body or for the wellness of your mind, Yoga can give it to you but would be still missing the whole point. for Patanjali, asana is just a means to inner practice. but even hatha yoga teachers are missing 2 stages of most of the asanas. 1st.stage is an effort, maximal stretch for 2-3 breath cycles, and then relaxation and passive observance for as how long is it comfortable. these active and passive stages are present throughout the anghas from Yama to Dharana. starting with Dyana, only passive awareness is required. it is not only that teachers that don't get it, but even some so-called "gurus" also don't get it. and that is very sad. what a mess.
