AI is being run on local machines, so as long as there are human criminals there will be AI taking on artist styles without crediting the originator. This could be made moot by artists learning to use NFTs, though.

nfts bro they used nfts to steal art we are not taking a step back to use a unsafe methods and old tech . and only one model can be ran on pc and that is the sd models and their derivatives .
to fix the problem we do need new thech and new laws nothing less .
@@samankucher5117 I just mean REIQ could assure his patrons they're getting his exclusive work, not that he could stop commercial powers from adopting his style. Another artist could copy his style already and there's nothing he could do about that. Artists are better served cultivating an audience who want to know/trust them as humans.

a other artists can't flood the market with cheep knockoffs of his art not the same way as everyone with a gaming pc and Ai software can because the volume of output matters. in comparison to ai uses 1 artist doing it by hand makes no harm to his market .
his fans know where they can get his art he has social media it's not about where art can be found it's about protecting artists and their brand so they can make a living.
@@samankucher5117 NFTs offer some protection for him to at least be recognized by those who bother to care. In a low-trust society (read: planet Earth) people will steal his style en masse and copy it in cultures where he isn't even capable of capitalizing, like throughout the Third World. He can already make a living with his small audience. He deserves to be bigger than Banksy, but that's unlikely for a commercial artist because regular people already think commercial art is made by computers.
