Fantastic car but no 911. Happy to say it’s a different type of beast. 911 turbo may be cheaper and faster but just can’t match the sense of occasion/theatre.
It’s a beautiful car, yet an absolute axe murderer. I drove a 55, loved it. Bought the 63, and it’s incomparable. Definitely not a Porsche. This is flattering to drive hard, it doesn’t takeover the way a 911 does when you make a ‘mistake’. And the sound, it’s a junk yard dog growling and spitting at you.

At least here in Canada, the Turbo actually is more expensive! But I agree: the AMG GT just feels more special than a 911 these days.
