You need to follow this video steps, no problem if you have already eu rom flashed. Follow steps flashing custom recovery then flash eu rom. But neat and clean

Yes dear, OTA updates will no more work on 12.0.3, you need a fresh install with 12.0.4 by flashing custom recovery and will be able to get ota updates too which will automatically get flash.
No need to root if you do want the rooting
