Best high gain amp I've ever heard. Mic on this recording does not do this amp justice. Even more impressive is how clean it can get. Played a Travis bean thrust one of these and was blown away.
Thank you! The reason the channels were not switched in the demo is because both channels on the dual channel version are identical. Since both channels have a wide gain range, the idea is like having two of the same amp in one, allowing different settings on each (imagine A/B'ing two vintage amp heads). The dual channel version is obviously more useful for live playing since it doesn't add any extra sounds compared to the single channel version. Hope that makes sense!
@@scienceamps ohhh, i gotcha. That makes sense. I should've read the amp's page a little more closely, lol. This was a great demo video. It would be awesome to have a video like this for each model. I'm going to have one of your amps one day. Just need to figure out which.
This sounds so good. Those edge of breakup tones are glorious. Question though, other than saving a bit of money, is there any advantage the single channel version has over the dual channel?
Yeah totally. The front end EQ shaping you can do with the High and Low Frequency Voice controls make the amp really adaptable to different drive pedals. The overall voicing is on the more mid-heavy side, so that makes it gel with a lot of fuzzes

You are too kind. Thank you!
The tones are all perfect. Great amp. Congrats.
.. I really want a Science head to go with my Science 4x12 I picked up a few months ago. These heads sound amazing.
Thanks! Would love to get you an amp someday
This sounds incredible.
This but in a 20watt Combo is the dream for me, sounds so sweet but it's too much for the house and the 3 people gigs I play 😅
Great tele tones
This sounded amazing, but i would've really liked to hear channel B as well.

@@scienceamps so you can basically have chA full gain blasting, and B more clean and switch between at a moments notice?

Sounds SO GOOD
Travis Phillips Thank you!
I’d love to hear the Decolonizer clean and gain channel. I’ve been interested but cause seem to find any videos.
the website has audio examples with various pickups
Damn this thing rips
Yeah, that's badass.

Thank you! Good question - they are the same except that the dual channel has an identical channel to swap between settings live
@@scienceamps seems like a no brainer just to have that option. Thanks!
Yeah most people go for the two channel!
Is this based off an OR/Matamp?
Yes, the early 70's Matamp GT100/120
are these good pedal platforms?
