My husband and I made this recipe after wanting to try for so long and it turned out great! Tastes really similar to ones we typically buy in restaurants in our area! Thanks so much!
Highly recommended! This is the simple and authentic recipe. I tried alot of recipes wich are complected and waste of time, but this guy need 10 stars 🤩
It's beautiful. But I have questions... 1. Which ingredients are actually responsible for redish tint 2. Baking soda, makes me think if it's healthy to consume in tea ?
1.Baking soda is responsible fort he reddish tint, coz the baking soda reacts with the chlorophyll pigment and thus the reddish tint. 2.Baking soda is good for digestion
Actually you can make it with any long tea leaves....am from WB and the Darjeeling tea leaves are shorter so it doesn't work.... you can use "oolong" tea leaves too...they are from Taiwan originally.
I don't know why people are saying it's too time consuming... Any masala tea takes about this much time.... Also, I have a kashmiri neighbour who has got me hooked to kahwa, noon chai and sheer chai... And trust me guys, it's worth all the time it may consume.
Thank you, I followed your recipe but I didn't add star anise or cloves. It turned out to be a very tasty and savory caradmom tea. Any tips of achieving a more pink color? Mine was slightly reddish but mostly a brown color.
What was or is malai? I didn’t see it long enough sorry if miss spelled… it looked like butter. I just made some. I think my green tea was bitter. I’ll try with yerbe maté next
I just found out about this recipe. This drink looks delicious. I so want to quickly try it and enjoy it , so curious . Thanks for sharing this recipe . You're great 😃😃
It's a very nice recipe. Easy to make yet very attractive to all. Please tell me more about the origin story of the tea. I would like to learn all about it 😊 Thank you 🙂
Worst thing about my wedding is that I never got to drink any. I didn't know pink tea was being served until I got to my room. By then it was all finished
Not sure if this is a dessert to drink😳 With this much time and spice, I can cook all 2 times of special meals plus wholesome dessert and still save all three - time, spice and dry fruits😂
@@anubamabalasubramanian587 Oh! Really?! This is a new thing I just learnt. Thank you! But if you can shed some light scientifically, I'm all your ears.
@roja acharya I had used salt in milk while boiling it depends upon the amount of salt we use.. for example I use one pinch of salt in 1 liter of milk so it won't curdle upto 2days 1 night (without refrigerator). I just seen this in popular youtube channel "blossom"
Thank you so much for this recipe. I've only heard about kashmiri tea, but I've never tried it. And I don't even have the leaves. So this was perfect for me I made it today, and I now understand what people mean when they say it got a salty taste. It's a perfect blend 👍🏼 Although mine wasn't pink, it was peach, but that's okay

For the ones saying it's time consuming.... We make the tea and put it in the fridge and mix milk whenever we want. It lasts many days.
how long does it take to make the tea? do y'all really use the ices?
I think it's the icewater that brings out the pink color?

Firstly I thought that they would add pink color to the tea. It's Really nice To make a natural pink tea.
