Yeah I'll try to fix the setting, lower resolution and we'll see... I recorded this video in Slovenia in the mountains, well hills but still :))) and it was my primary goal to use it on my next trip to Colombia so I would not stend out too much while vlogging there, since they do like to steal things there...

See if there is a "horizon-lock" functionality. That might help if available.
Or "EIS" - electronic image stabilization.
Otherwise, try wearing a cap and sticking the camera on it; your head surely doesnt sway the way your body does while you walk.
Dont know if the "osmo pocket" would have been a better bet with the built-in 3-axis stabilizer; that one looks rather fragile though.
ok i'll look for the horizon lock option thanks, the stabilization was on the highest setting, of course if i carried it in hand it would be different, but this clip on body was one of the features that i got it for... so that is disapoionting...
I did suggest you get a lanyard attachment for your phone when u were in angeles. It's a rectangular piece with a loop that goes between the phone case and under the phone with a loop that protrudes through the phone case usb hole - you then attach a lanyard throuvgh the loop. You hang the lanyard over your neck or loop it over your wrist.
Have a look, u might even be able to make something similar yourself if u have the correct bits lying around.
I do have like a neck holder that goes around the neck and holds the phone, but again i don't think i would use that one in Colombia :)))) but in more safer countries for sure!
@@BigJoe1 I think you're missing the point, the lanyard is for protection against snatch theft.
Ur neck holder would be analogous to the bracket and harness setup I suggested in the other comment.
I'd use the lanyard TOGETHER with the others... neck holder or bracket-harness if I found either of them suitable.
@@BigJoe1I'd use a lanyard setup even with a tripod/selfie stick regardless of where I am not just only when visiting places such as Colombia.

Hi Joe the short footage you did capture is actually very good. Maybe there is some stabilization for the walking? I was looking on Amazon. This camera is $300! Maybe you got a lemon?
This one was 450 euros 💶 Directly from manufacturer from their official site 😞...

U might also want to try holding ur phone on your chest then do tests to see if that's acceptable. If it is, you can also get phone brackets and harness for that.
yeah I have a harnes for the phone, but I am leaving for Colombia and do not want to expose my phone to the theifs :))) that's why i got this little camera
@@BigJoe1bare in mind, ur little camera is only held in place by a magnet so if the thieves realize what it is.... 😂

Yeah but I wanted to use it as a bodycam while walking... holding it out in the mean streets of Colombia is asking for trouble and to get mugged...
Try moving the camera higher near just below underneath the chin further away from your belly. Top of your sternum.
OK i'll try, but I think I must concentrate on finding that horizon lock option, I think it's best was to get rid of this drunk swinging effect...
@@BigJoe1I'd be rather disappointed if it didn't have that functionality since the camera is rather pricey.

@@BigJoe1official documentation also seems to say yes to horizon-lock on the go3.
