I have just purchased my first ever GoPro the Hero 8 Black and this is by far the BEST video that I've seen explaining some great settings for us novices, Very thorough at a steady pace so one can take it all in and not have to keep going back to double take and a very pleasant tone of voice no shrieking etc etc. Just what I needed and I've no doubt will watch it a few more times. Just ordered my 8 while also owning a Hero 4. Looking forward to the upgrade. Probably the best video on the topic so far. I like how you give the why you do things and a clear example on the how when applicable as opposed to other videos where the presenter just says that the camera can do this or that and you can choose what ever..... Looking forward to watching more of your work.
I don't normally comment on videos but I watch a LOT of how to videos. This is by far one of the best how to videos I have ever seen across any of the subjects I research. I strongly encourage anyone trying to instruct someone to use this video as a resource for a "how to" of how to videos. I watched this and I know exactly how to set up some basic settings but also what to consider when doing so. Brilliant.
I agree with Train or Die, just got the hero8, my first gopro, watched a couple of videos and this is by far the most informative without wasting your time.

This is genuinely a very good tutorial or guidance. You talk gentle and calm, you are straight to the point and you don't just skip anything and take the time to explain each setting a bit, which gave me an overall better idea on how to setup my GoPro now.

Detailed and helpful, I had a cheaper knock off that got little use. I determined that an 8 vs the new 12 was my sweet spot at used price of one quarter which gave me room for accessories. Now i can document my vacation in Hawaii in and out of Ocean 🤙
