Thanks ya, tcito.
He carries this show so hard it's not even funny.
I want to see Anthony starr cast as reverse flash in the flash movie
Yea
Nice
his goals are beyond our understanding
Nah he would be better as ultraman from earth 3
It was me, Barry
I remember watching this scene and for a second being in shock thinking he really did this. Fantastic writing as it shows his real descent into madness and how it’s perfectly realistic that at any point in time he could do this and nobody could stop him from wiping out the crowd.
That's one thing I couldn't get behind with Homelander's whole "nobody could stop me" thing. Like.. sure. No ONE person could stop him. But 4-5 or 10 supes? I think he'd have some real trouble on his hands then.
@@theo_key233 He could just fly away
@@twinzzlers
So then, that the Homelander's 🦅🇺🇸 *could just fly away* from THAT...?!
I was kinda disappointed that he didn’t do this for real
@@mechadoggy
Alright then, mechadoggy 🤖🐶
So why are you *feeling disappointed* when the Homelander's 🦅🇺🇸 *didn't just flying away for real* right 😕?
I love how not scared but like how unsettled his presence makes me everytime like idk what he Will do next
The Boys does an absolutely amazing job at depicting the world if superheroes are real
Well, It Depends.
Well, It depends.
I mean...if it was someone as u influential, powerful, rich etc as Iron man or in this case Homelander, then yes
But there might be heroes who do it just to do the right thing. Like Spider-man.
@@alaster1403 I think this show specifically wanted to introduce people to a different concept of what heroes can be
@@alaster1403 I mean, Homelander is how he is because of how he was "raised" in a laboratory by callous scientists trying to maximize his potential as a product.
He could've been a proper hero if he was raised by anybody even remotely normal. Granted, this is a world where all heroes are made and then controlled by a multimedia conglomerate.
Give him the same upbringing as Clark Kent or Peter Parker and John could've been what Homelander pretends to be.
Homelander has an amazing actor no cap.
Matches the character so well
He was amazing in a show called Banshee. Its about 4 seasons. Great show.

Not the hero we need, but the hero we deserve.
And so, is the Homelander's 🦅🇺🇸 being the *hero that everyone's truly deserves in the end of a day* right...?
There isn't anything heroic about Homelander.

props for the camera man for going back in time and saving all those innocent lives
You know its one of the best acting performances when you genuinely believed he would do this
I think it helps that we did infact think homelander would do this for real, like Omni Man
I would
This has more to do with writing than acting
I thought he did until I finally watched the whole scene 😭
3:33 me after the delivery man said "enjoy your food" and I said "you too"
Very awkward
😆
Okay it sounds crazy but this is one of the nicest moment of him, he just swallowed all the anger and be like "alright, you guys are the real heroes" then let them be alive.
One of the few moments when he was somewhat mature
It could also be looked at as the last bit of his humanity peeking through. Doesn't he have a conversation with his mirror self not long after?
@@malkeus6487
Well said, Malkeus: So does the Homelander's 🦅🇺🇲 *having a little conversation with his mirror self* (à la Norman Osborn and the Green Goblin in the 2002 "Spider-Man 🕷️🕸️" movie) right then...🤔😗?

I'm sure we all have done that in some Bethesda game.
The way Antony Starr portrait Homelander gave me chills. what an incredible actor.
That scene of him in the corridor. The violin, the cut editing, the acting. You can see and feel him losing his mind. Brilliant sequence
Idk anything about this serious but the corridor definitely looked the most impactful to me. He doesn't know how to feel.

No it’s not normal, you should see a therapist or at least keep yourself away from these extreme shows
You just have to remember Homelander is not real, he can't hurt you
The people who are connected to butcher character wouldn't feel that 😂😂
After the ending of season 3, Homelander puts on an interesting face after he imagines that. It's not necessarily one where he's reveling in that thought, it looks like the kind of face where he's scared of what he just imagined that he was capable of doing.
