Modern Samurai Project class shootoff

- On November 21st and 22nd, I attended the joint class taught by @ModernSamuraiProject and Reston Group. On the end of training day 1, there's a shootoff between all the students for epic bragging rights and maybe some prizes. The rules are simple: each shooter has a single piece of A/C zone steel to hit at 25 yards. Do it faster than the other shooter, and don't miss.

This is an awesome video, thanks for sharing.
Who’s the dude going - prep prep prep prep, Christ that would bug me
That’s Jared Reston, one of the best instructors in the game and a legit gunfighter
@@MrRevolver no doubt he belongs there- just would be annoying while you’re competing. During training/practice…. Great, but while you’re on the line listening for the beep and concentrating,…no bueno
You don't really notice it; it's basically background noise
@@MrRevolver - good point, I would imagine you’re hyper-focused
I hope to find out this fall!
Hilton from 10-8 making an appearance
Awesome stuff man!
Nice to see the Great Nation of Elbonia represented.
A shame he wasn't using his Nation's issue pistol...
I too have been the winner of the losers
Wow, awesome job brother!! Way to show up for the revolver guys 👍🏻👍🏻🔥
I saw another video not too long ago with the Modern Samurai Project (maybe Garand Thumb?), but kind of forgot about it. I will add them to my list of training courses I want to attend.
Separately: Caleb have you thought about conducting training courses?
Yeah, Garand Thumb had MSP on his video about red dot pistols. Scott (MSP) is a hell of an instructor.
I used to teach some pistol classes, and now that my family is settled in South Carolina I'm looking at teaching again on a very small scale. I have to jump through SC's regulatory hoops first, and I'd also like to wait for everyone to chill about 'Rona.
Nice Job! Good match up!
Is that Jared Reston on the left?
Yeah, it was a joint class. TD1 was all Jedi, and TD2 was Reston. It was fucking rad.
Nicely done.
I was fortunate enough to get into Scott's class. That little competition
was one of my favorite experiences. I didn't win but, we matched each
other's times exactly 6 or 7 times before he finally beat me.
I was "trying" to drink from the firehose every minute of both days.
Scott is an excellent teacher/coach/trainer. 😎👍❤️🇺🇸
Very cool!
Nice job.
Was it an optics focused class, or am I I just that far behind the times? Looked like everyone was running a dot.
Nice work boss!
Did you rub it in that you beat his comped 2011 with a revolver ?! Lol. Nice shooting!
nah; Hilton and I are friends. We go way back
Good job!
Damn, that one dude went shot-for-shot with Hilton from concealment. Lost eventually but real good shooting.
There were some straight up good shooters there
Hot Shot
Awesome video and great shooting CG! Looked damn good!!! Winner of the losers... too funny you are... #thisistheway 👊🏼💯
Winner of losers😄
I won this in Scott's Utah class back in October. I came up from the loser bracket to win the whole thing. I enjoyed a little competition like this because it really is know your limits. Great class with Scott Jedlinski.
Caleb did what those teams in the Olympics do, threw a match for the easier opponents then went for the win.
I wouldn’t call any road that ends with going heads up against Hilton fucking Yam as “easy”
