Thanks guys. I haven't geeked out on this question, I zero w/ defensive round and practice & shoot matches with a variety of different rounds. Other than cranial A zone must-do shots, I don't worry about the impact deviations. I like listening to AJ on guns and shooting. Thoughtful smart guy and a hell of a shooter and teacher.
I think guys (and gals, gotta be PC. 😂) get too caught up with finding practice ammo that hits dead on zero-wise with their carry ammo. Of course, zero with your carry ammo. But I just watched a video from the guys at Tier 1 where they shot a plethora of different brands and weight of ammo. At the end, one guy (forgot which one) was shooting his pistol at a small steel target at 100 yards with the different ammo and he was making the steel sing! I believe he shot 5 or 6 times hitting the steel on the first shot before he narrowly missed one.
thats why its about quality. if you get a good brand the gun should run. i run a CZp09 and a glock 45. they eat anything the glock wont shoot reloads...
Great points fellas. Appreciate y'all including us in the small talk 👍

good quality. HP or FMJ dont matter
Some great points. I love how people mess with their guns and then complain they won't run every ammo under the sun.
I use 124 AAC 9mm for practice and l use 147 HST for duty, same point of impact for both.
Great info!

I shoot 9mm in my 9mm, been working great for me 😏
Ammo schmammo…what are y’all smoking and tell AJ to hurry up on the PDP compact guide rod!
THIS!
115gr +P or +P+ it is the speed of the 9mm that you're after. 115gr +P+ Federal, Winchester, Corbon and Remington have great street results.
