- Tis the season... for BABIES! With all of the new little tootsies gracing the world, I thought I would add a few more =)
I was asked by a friend to work up a smaller shoe size pattern for an upcoming event, and I ended up with 2 new pattern sizes, both modeled after the original Baby's First Mary Jane Booties, and both, perfect for that upcoming baby shower! We have the Mini and the Bitty.. Can you guess which one is smaller? ;)
So many fun ideas to dress up the party from cake toppers to little mint holders to fun little charms to hang on a necklace, bracelet or keychain!
Whatever you choose to do with these little trinket size wonders, we hope you have fun & enjoy making them. I would love to hear your feedback below!

Oh! Forgot to mention that this size will fit a small preemie sizing out at approximately 2-2.5" you would just want to work another closure so you can undo the strap 😊

What size hook are you using

i can follow videos pretty well but on the last row around you say hdc stitches but they are really sc stitches. and i followed the video and mine came out as a left shoe yours is a right that is so weird

Would love to work on some baby boy shoes! I'm sorry to hear you are struggling to find any. There are lots of boy shoe patterns already available by different designers on youtube. Try searching the term "baby boy booties crochet" Hope that helps get you going with a pair. May be a bit before I'm able to dive into a new pattern, I have 2 currently in the works for other projects. Have a wonderful day!
