I love all the baby shoe patterns! I can't thank you enough. I am beginner and have made several due to great instructions. I donate some to children's hospital, they need them. Thank you so much!

I have tried many patterns and video tutorials but never managed to make any of the baby booties or shoes, I always ended up frogging them and giving up. This worked for me!!! I found it quite easy to follow. Thank you for sharing.

This worked the first time for me! I haven't crocheted for ages and back then it was only straight squares or blankets. Thank you, ***** and UA-cam for giving us the step by step videos rather than just the old hieroglyphic patterns. You are right about the stitch marker. I had never used one before but this is an easy way to keep track.

I downloaded the pattern and then watched the video in its entirety before I attempted to start. It was so easy and as I went I was able to follow along with you on the video. If something confused me then I would just go back to that point and watch again.. I'm now on my fifth one and I am loving the way these cute shoes are coming out!! Thank You So Much!!!!

In the written pattern on step 8 It says to only chain 9 for the strap. Very glad I watched the video, because the written pattern has a good bit of info that would not work. This is for all sizes that I noticed things wouldn't match up. I could probably have winged it, but really glad I went by the video and not the written pattern!

I have tried this pattern 4-5 times and I am coming up short on the stitches also. I am using a marker and recounting to make sure I have thing right but still come up short. The strap is way back on the ankle instead of down closer to the toe. I even wrote the pattern down and have rechecked that and still coming up off. I DO LOVE THE PATTERN THOUGH.

Thank you very much for this video. It's cute and easy to follow. I purchased a book for a similar Mary Jane bootie that was much more difficult and the finished bootie had a boxy toe. The sole on this pattern makes a much nicer shaped bootie.

I love this pattern. They are so cute. I was just following the written pattern and this tutorial and had a question. In the written pattern, step 5 reads:
    Dc 10. Hdc 1. Sc 31
In the video, you have us Dc 8, Hdc 1, Sc 33. I looked over all the sizes in the written patterns and they all start step 5 with: Dc 10. I was just wondering why the difference?

I could barely hear you. Luckily I could just follow along since I know how to crochet. Also you forgot to mention the size of the hook we needed. Other than that it was ok. Just would recommend those things to be considered if you plan on working on another. Also going a little slower.

Darling! I loved the flip flop one as well. Quick question, how many chains do you make for 0-3 months and 6-12? If it's 11 for 3-6, would it be 10 chains for 0-3, and 12 chains for 6-12?

Hi Bethany. I’m working this pattern for 3 to 6 months and number six says. single crochet nineto the stitch marker ....I ended up having 13 stitches.... but it still looks like a shoe -I don’t know why my stitches are a lot more ....but I followed this pattern to the tee! You think I should rip it out or continue to see what it looks like

Love! Ok, now the right shoe... got it, but on the left, I'm assuming I do the same for the sole on the right but flip then start working your pattern for left? Confused on that because you start working on the left shoe from the point after the sole is made... Thanks!

I'm having a problem with the pattern. I made the 6-9 month with no problems at all, but now I'm on the 3-6 month and my stitches aren't going all the way to the stitch marker. It's on row 3 that I get messed up. I do the (sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) 3 times, sc in next 9 sts, (sc in nextst, 2 sc in next st) 5 times, sc in next 9 sts. According to your video, the last sc should end where the stitch marker is from row 2, but mine is ending the stitch before the marker. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe I didn't count right? I have taken it apart and redone it a couple of times now and watched the video several times, but I keep coming to the same problem. Like I said, I was able to do the 6-9 month with no problems, so I'm a bit confused.

question on these...Is the button just "for show" or do you stretch the strap over the button? or do you crochet a button loop. not 100% clear on video how the button works 🤔 hope that made sence

I see the question was asked about what tog stands for.. I think I understtod it to mean together ... but did you mean "to connect " the 2 stitches or 2 stitches in the same stitch? That the only thing confusing me.. you are very easy to follow.. except for video being very low volume.
    Thanks

Hello Bethany, thank you for sharing this awesome pattern. I am currently making this slipper in size 7 and I am having trouble with step 4. It looks like from step 4 the instructions change drastically and I am very lost at that point. Your pattern says (Sc 2, Sc 2 in the next st.) 3 times, do you mean 2 single crochet in the next 6 stitches. Also, after the instructions says that I need to do Sc 13, but it seems like I need to do more then that. Can you help me in this?
