I suffered infant loss 3 years ago this July 16th. To help cope I’ve recently started crocheting baby items for preemies to donate to a local organization that help parents cope with the loss of their infant either before or after birth yesterday I made a tiny pink bonnet and these are going to be perfect to make and donate with that bonnet. Crocheting saved me from a dark place that I never thought would see light again. Thank you for this video Karen.
I just found your channel, and I'm so glad I did. I love making things for preemies. This is such a cute pattern. Can't wait to make some. OH, I am so embarrassed to say but I just saw that I have been doing the joining of two half double crochet wrong for years. Thank you so much for this video.
Those are the cutest booties I've seen for preemie babies. I used to make blankets for the NICU babies, but my crazy hands won't allow me to do but one every 6 months it'd so. These will allow me to gift something without hurting. So thank you again
Thank you so so much for making this video!! I Love it!! Absolutely adorable!! My daughter just gave birth to my micro-preemie granddaughter, 2wks ago (10-9-21) 1 lb 5oz. (23wks, 6days gestation) I’m going to make her several of these and matching micro beanies to wear for some of her pictures. Great keepsakes as well. 🤗
Hi Karen Bestwick ,I did find your prem ugg boots on Etsy,so I purchased the pattern,I think you’re a very talented lady, thank you so much ,Coreen Jones xx💕
Karen I simply can't thank you enough for this fantastic tutorial for these cute little bow shoes. Can't wait to see your little boys one ❤️❤️ Coreen xx
thank you for sharing this! my friend just had a little girl that is so tiny that she had to wear premie clothes till she gets a little bigger, so I'm gonna make her some tiny shoes that are cute
Brand new user and thrilled with slippers and your video. Congratulations on a super, easy to follow, video and looking forward to checking out more of them. However, when I came to use this printed pattern, there appears to be a sequence missing (I had handwritten it out watching video ... as I hadn't seen printed offer, duh!) so had to come back to video to double-check : Rnd 2, just before your brackets comment, is missing the "2 sc in last 2" step before continuing into "sl st to join in..." Or am I way out of date and someone has already already mentioned it!
Hello there. I love your tutorials . my son and his wife just had a baby and she is a preemie 3 lbs .thanks so much for sharing your pattern I was just going thru the written pattern in your description box and it seems like a step is missing 2nd row at the end after 3 sc , i believe 2sc in the last 2 stitchs is missing. i could be wrong but you do say it in the tutorial. mine came out so cute thanks again
