Thanks for this video! I’ve been deciding how to tackle this model. Saving the armor for last really helped! I did a similar thing for my white armor Sisters. I also love how the incubi darkness looks as a first highlight.

Looks great, i personally wouldnt of had a gloss red shoulder pad though.
It's glossed ready for decal - unfortunately I ran out of time to do it before I had to post - it will be matte in the end :)

Is the shoulder pad painted with mephiston red? I can’t seem to get it that bright.

Used leadbelcher and nuln oil on mine. Tried highlighting with stormhost silver, for the life of me I can't tell the difference after I put it on.
Looks great. What is the base colour and highlight you used for the stonework underneath the bike.
Thanks - off the top of my head its mecahnicus grey and then some administratum grey wet blended into it, with white scar dry brushed on the edges
Ok, so you meant Dark Reaper and not Incubi Darkness when highlighting the bike. I was very confused why you'd highlight it green.
I mix the two up all the time- i usually catch it with a text box in the vid! Apologies for the confusion!
Have you ever done Belecarius Cawl before? I didn't see him in your videos but in your free time off cam have you? He's one of my favorites I love Adeptus mechanicus

When do you know when 3 edge highlights are appropriate like you did for the bike?
I guess where you feel it needs a bit of pop to help it stand out - and only on the sharpest edges
Is the prime also Abaddon black?

How do you attach the head to paint it separately?
Drill a hole into the bottom and use a tiny bit of superglue on the end of a paper clip - then pop the other end into a cork :)
You could also try some blu-tac or modelling putty so you wouldn't need the drill/paperclip!

Mate, a coloured pauldron on the left shoulder depicts what chapter a space marine comes from...in the case of P.C's chaplain, his red pauldron states that he's a Blood Angel...😁👍
