I've had several trucks and go to the parts store and the same thing with my dodge truck my dad 70 Ford F-250 had a bad rag joint and the parts store doesn't know what a steering suspension coupler is the correct term lol,I'm like fine sell me a steering column steering box rag joint for a 75 Chevy c20 custom deluxe thank you... lol
Come on everyone let’s smash the like button , and show Craig some mad support . Thank you Craig and thank you for sharing all your amazing content . Cheers from Vancouver BC , Canada. 🇨🇦
Not a fan of the yellow lenses, the clear look so much classier. Beyond that, cool ride! Look forward to whatever you have in store for it. 12 Valve Cummins would be rad!
jesus christ i never realized there where that many old crew cabs back in the day its like seeing modern trucks but they are all old and have 4 doors weird! I love rare old trucks!
Arkansas ingenuity at its best-rock on bro 😅, it's also nice to have friends support you, and you were gracious to credit so many at the end of the video. I look forward to the next ideas you have for the long body ford.
nice, if im ever out on that side of the country im totally jumping at some of these events, they look rad to be apart of and hang out around. I see you got the holly retro brights, bit expensive but they look soooooo good! I got modern white 5x7 for my Jeep and honestly thinking of spending the cash on second set for my other one Is that modern or classic white with tint on it or is it its own thing on their site, i don't remember seeing that color yellow. Cant wait to see more updates on this, get some montage shots of of you fixing all the little things like wipers at some point. also please fix that joint on the steering, love the classic zip tie look but oh my lord haha
Your "ideal" is a really good setup. Nothing wrong with steelies and dog dish hubcaps. I was happy to see my generation of crew represented (92-96) as well.
If you want to keep it kinda classic with the truck build i would do a built 460 with holley efi with a zf5 or 6 for the trans. Bw1356 transfer case with the flange output shaft. (Bronco version) just in case you snap the drive line then at least you can drive home in fwd. And dana 60 front axle sitting on at least 35 10.50 16 tires. Oh and keep the bench seats. Or find a roll over 2020 f250 with the 7.3 Godzilla and 10spd trans and 4x4. Either swap the drive terrain to your truck or your truck body on the superduty frame. Either way the seat of the superduty are going in your truck.
My 69 shortie crew has a 3.52 posi in it,the 71 has a 3.73 posi.The 3.52 pulled a trailer-full of Town Car over Guadalupe peak,gaining speed.Forget G.V. too much electronics.I'm looking for a Doug Nash O.D.
if i were you craig id regear it to 3:73 or 3:55 gears youd get way better fuel mileage and id put a 7.3 powerstroke in it along with much newer ford axles (05+) front and rear which gives you way better suspension
im doing a retromod build on my 89 im gonna keep the stock axles but make it really nice inside and out currently trying to paint it it but you know how that goes doing it outside im doing a zf6 with my own custom built splitter/overdrive box
same factory fun part is got little parts from other truck that were recycled or upcycled lot old 1920 junk metal to all kinds years scraped to make newer designs is it wild melted down from canda to mexico or cali from michgan yet foundry did it like bethlham steel
Like what said go though hole truck mechanically. Then put some 373 in the rear end. After all that I would redo the interior an make it nice. Can’t wait to see that thing pull the f100 around or the galaxy’s.
Unfortunately the front fenders are rusted through, the super cab cab corners are rusty and the bed over the wheel wells but it is a factory ordered for a farm truck had a p&h cushion shock back bumper since it was sold new in December of 97, and it has always had its factory ford plastic bed liner so I also wonder how bad the bed floor is?? And the factory tailgate was rusting along the bottom but only had holes in the inside of the bed at the bottom of the tailgate but it was destroyed by forklift at the scrap yard and now it has a 92 ford f250 red and grey tailgate and the bottom of it is rusty and the top center section of the tailgate has a huge dent in it so it looks like it has a big crease in the center of the back of the truck, but that rear bumper ain't going nowhere lol,its exhaust pipe is a 2002 ram 2500 quad cab long bed 4 inch single exhaust and sounds bad ass on the 460bbf
Unfortunately my momma's green 96 Ford f250 super cab long bed truck is now got quite a bit of rust but it is pretty much a one of one version its a factory 7.3 power stroke diesel that has been swapped out by the car lot we got it from with a fairly low mileage almost brand new 7.5 litre 460 bbf Calypso green metallic and the Hunter green on the bottom and the center wide pinstripe just below the bodyline is also Hunter green and the black and grey dual pinstripes separate the Calypso green and hunter green,, and it is a xl trim truck i believe i always thought it was a xlt its not, but it is a non badged hd or super duty f250 truck apparently that started in 97, and the factory diesel aode 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive, and the diesel torque converter which is like a 1700rpm stall torque converter lol and the sterling 10.25 3.55 rear gear towing pkg axle assembly..
If you want something you can jump in and drive across country you should put a newer engine like a 4.6 like you could probably buy a crown vic and just throw the motor and trans in it and drive every where
Look into gear vendors overdrive and under drive auxillary transmission systems we had the older version of them doug nash enterprises d.n.e. 2 spd under drive auxiliary transmission low gear for pulling and high gear for highway and interstate driving,it was in a 1987 Ford F-350 crew cab long bed dually c6 automatic transmission and the factory 6.9 litre idi diesel motor it was a northern Florida truck white and brown metallic and the nike z stripe lol I swear to God that is what was on the sides of the truck, why I do not know?!
So are his Galaxies, his truck and all of the other cars he has. But here we are, with car show, junk yard crawl, desert meet junk, muffler and exhaust, tire videos. In other words, low to no cost production fluff videos. And it shows, by the channel video content. It has been MONTHS since he worked on the Galaxie(s) in any meaningful way. That is what brought us here. This other stuff is like cotton candy. Tastes good but there is nothing to it.
I’m not the happiest camper today. I shattered my phone and the trans went out of my truck. Well I wanted to do a manual swap anyway. It just sucks. I wanted to get my new project daily to run before I let my baby get the mods and paint job. Now I don’t have a daily at the moment. Gotta borrow my dads car
just like i know you from so where oh ya i was at the same plant geting put to gather i know right it trucks could talk wait now days the can do just about anything even drive and park
Truck and car show are fine for a change. BUT a steady diet is like fish and company after 3 days throw them out. If you don't get back to fixing and making cool stuff I'm gone
Me too. Fluff videos are all fine and dandy, but not as a steady diet. This will be the last time we see this truck for a looong time. That's my bet. Engine swaps, chassis swaps, diesel conversions like those, takes M O N E Y, time, knowledge, tools and technological know-how which he dosen't appear to have. He appears to be running short of money to produce worth while content, by the fluff, low cost video content he is producing.
I dont often spend 32:20 watching a video but when i do i apprecite a personal shoutout at the end. Love ya buddy!
You’re the reason these amazing trips happen my friend. Thank you.
Congratulations on your new baby, Solomon!
You got to buy a rag joint and put back in the bumpside or build a needle bearing u joint steering shaft for it
I've had several trucks and go to the parts store and the same thing with my dodge truck my dad 70 Ford F-250 had a bad rag joint and the parts store doesn't know what a steering suspension coupler is the correct term lol,I'm like fine sell me a steering column steering box rag joint for a 75 Chevy c20 custom deluxe thank you... lol
Only thing missing was Timmie, with his crew cab Truck House. aka Truck House Life. Pretty cool to see that huge variety parked up ! 👍👍
Dude that bullnose was beautiful 🤤🇺🇲
Come on everyone let’s smash the like button , and show Craig some mad support . Thank you Craig and thank you for sharing all your amazing content . Cheers from Vancouver BC , Canada. 🇨🇦
too cool! what a gathering of great trucks! Great job!
You can cut some jean material to use for that rag joint.
Beautiful Phenix night shot in the beginning.... and nice " Vice Grip Garage"ing it!
So many awesome crews! I’ll have to go when I get one of mine finished. Whenever that is 🤣
Awesome to see you at Fat Fender Garage, love the channel!
Can’t wait to see what you do with this truck!! It’s so bad ass man, sweet to see you driving it 400 miles!
I think the stock height trucks with steel wheels are the best looking ones there.
She's a trooper. Gonna make a great series too.
Craig that thing was made to pull an haul not to do a lot of traveling but gas was 75cents when it was new or less lol
hey craig are you going to goodGuys next year??
Yes indeed Awesome can not wait for the build! Also looking for a 70 crewcab flare side
make purple tint the shit again
Lol abandoned title gets chucked out there way to much on UA-cam 😂😂😂😂😂 it was abandoned but oh I pulled it out of my grandma shed or farm 😅
Not a fan of the yellow lenses, the clear look so much classier. Beyond that, cool ride! Look forward to whatever you have in store for it. 12 Valve Cummins would be rad!
Craig that is a beautiful truck I am excited to see the plans you have for this amazing truck. I always love your videos
that crewcab fridge is SICK!!!! I want it
i like the headlights and the trucks
I remember taking my fairmont out for a run. Pulled up home, straightened the wheel and the rag joint snapped clean in half haha 😅
So many cool crew cabs
I have the retro brights in my 68 short box f100 and they are the best!!
jesus christ i never realized there where that many old crew cabs back in the day its like seeing modern trucks but they are all old and have 4 doors weird! I love rare old trucks!
Arkansas ingenuity at its best-rock on bro 😅, it's also nice to have friends support you, and you were gracious to credit so many at the end of the video. I look forward to the next ideas you have for the long body ford.
That center console at 6:00
nice, if im ever out on that side of the country im totally jumping at some of these events, they look rad to be apart of and hang out around.

If you kept the gearing you have and lifted it and put bigger tires on it it would probably drive like a normal stock truck with 373s
Its rad Craig! I want to clean it and detail it!
Your "ideal" is a really good setup. Nothing wrong with steelies and dog dish hubcaps. I was happy to see my generation of crew represented (92-96) as well.
Will I see you guy's at the Sacramento Autorama next month? I hope so.
Love your videos❤❤❤❤❤ awesome content

Did gas go down from 3.99 to 3.89 after you filled up? Look at 20:11 LMAO
The black square body Chevy 4x4 leaving the O'Reilly's sounds great lol
My bad at the gas station..
Started off watching your channel for the foxbody content. Now I am watching all the videos
When's the f100 engine rebuild video coming
FE's are so special. You can make one just as reliable as any 385 series, just might take more money
I really hope he keeps it and gets a gear vendors
MIGHT take more money?
HAHAHAHA....
A FE build sucks your wallet dry faster than that truck engine sucks your gas tank dry.
HAHAHAHA.....
Awesome show of badass old fords❤
Your trucks a perfect candidate for like a zf5 swap or something similar, and like 3.55 gears. She would be a highway queen then
Have you considered a chassis swap? Find a wrecked 11-16 super duty with the 6.2 gasser. Could be really cool and reliable. Nice video bro 👌
if i were you craig id regear it to 3:73 or 3:55 gears youd get way better fuel mileage and id put a 7.3 powerstroke in it along with much newer ford axles (05+) front and rear which gives you way better suspension

2 door falcon wagon ultra rare wow
this is the celebration of life, crew cab edition 😂
I was not expecting to see a toy truck from my home town on this channel! Iirc, those were made by Nylint.
I'd love to see your truck with a built 460 with some 33x15.50r15s with 15x14 rims and side pipes that would be awesome
what are your thoughts on 4bt swapping the crew cab. might not be a ton of power but still pretty decent if you hop it up some.
You need to put a set of 3.73 rear gear in it
I'm thinking of 4 different ideas manual trans 7.3, 12v, 6.2, lightning swap but without TIB
same factory fun part is got little parts from other truck that were recycled or upcycled
lot old 1920 junk metal to all kinds years scraped to make newer designs is it wild melted down from canda to mexico or cali from michgan yet foundry did it like bethlham steel
Oh Baby, LETS GOO!!!!
Like what said go though hole truck mechanically. Then put some 373 in the rear end. After all that I would redo the interior an make it nice. Can’t wait to see that thing pull the f100 around or the galaxy’s.
If you’re wanting taller and bigger tires wouldn’t you want to keep the gearing you got?
Unfortunately the front fenders are rusted through, the super cab cab corners are rusty and the bed over the wheel wells but it is a factory ordered for a farm truck had a p&h cushion shock back bumper since it was sold new in December of 97, and it has always had its factory ford plastic bed liner so I also wonder how bad the bed floor is?? I love this truck more and more every video
Take a good look at it.
You probably won't see it again for months.
Kind of like his Galaxies.
And his truck.
Did you stay off Grand Ave somewhere? If so.. No explanation needed!
Great job! And fe s rule!
Nice to get back to some good truck content looking forward to the rebirth of that ole truck
Love the truck, can't beat a ford
460 and a zf would be killer for that truck
If you want something you can jump in and drive across country you should put a newer engine like a 4.6 like you could probably buy a crown vic and just throw the motor and trans in it and drive every where

Tastes good but there is nothing to it.
Put a 7.3 Powerstroke or a 12 valve in your crew cab
great stuff thanks. love the truck even though it is a ford.
Of course it will drive 400 miles. Dumb question. 😂
Uhh not a single issue? Your steering grenaded lol
Convert this thing to a dually on 22.5s
If someone wants to donate me a hood hinge, hmu!😂 6:52

I see u shaved looken good
Sooo cool
FE on fuel injection makes 18mpgs
👍
this needs a 12v in it
Wait. Border check point? Wtf?
It would be awesome if this crew cab was the first diesel swap on this channel.
😊
just like i know you from so where oh ya i was at the same plant geting put to gather i know right it trucks could talk wait now days the can do just about anything even drive and park
That truck is cool as shit
What did you pay for that truck?
That question has been asked mutiple times.
He won't answer.
Sooo....
He probably paid way to much.
Back when trucks were trucks. Not this thrown together fancy crap today
Epic toy's.
0 Views? I'll fix that
I disagree that fe will run for years but whether its wore out and burning and blowing out oil is irrelevant lol!!!
Put a coyote in it
Of course, it’s a ford 😅
Truck and car show are fine for a change. BUT a steady diet is like fish and company after 3 days throw them out. If you don't get back to fixing and making cool stuff I'm gone
