TRIP REPORT | Sandstorm & Crazy Winds in Dubai | EMIRATES Boeing 777 | Delhi to Dubai

- Emirates Trip Report flying from Delhi to Dubai in one of the Emirates Boeing 777 on a lovely morning over India and all the way to Dubai.
A very comfortable flight from Delhi to Dubai onboard one of the Emirates Boeing 777-300ER. When you book a flight with Emirates you know you're going for the best and that was exactly the case in today's trip. Even though the flight was fully booked, the comfortable seats and the perfect legroom, allowed us to enjoy a fantastic journey.
Our trip starts today in India's capital, Delhi. Indira Gandhi airport isn't the most beautiful in India, neither is it the best for planespotting but it has some charm that makes you feel nice. With mood, we boarded the Emirates Boeing 777 that would take us to Dubai.
After a quite long taxi, we took off heading west and started our route to Dubai. We initially overflew the city of Delhi and then all the remaining parts of India before reaching Pakistan. We left Karachi on our left and continued in parallel to the Pakistan coast. We entered Iran close to the city of Gwadar and overflew its coast until eventually entering the Strait of Hormuz. We made a 90° turn and flew over Ras al Khaimah, already in descent to Dubai, where we landed on time after a very windy approach over the city.
Regarding the onboard service, Emirates is known for having one of the world's best products (if not the top one). Today's was not going to be different. The crew was extremely polite and engaging with the passengers at all times. In terms of food, there were 2 options: veggie and no-veggie. I went for the Chicken Tikka Masala with rice; a very easy decision! Everything was delicious, as always with Emirates, to be honest.

However, I found the Emirates Premium EConomy too expensive... it's as expensive as business class in other airlines... That's why never had it on the channel so far...

Cool having two windows. Any time I have a window seat I look out the entire flight and at the end I have a kink in my neck. I bet the engines hate all that dust. A great job landing.

I've flown EK number of times from Karachi to DXB, with onward connection to USA. I've felt the equipment they use on these sub-continent routes are not in such pristine condition as the ones used on other EK routes. Just my opinion. The dessert is called Kheer or Feerni (Rice Pudding) sprinkled with almonds and pistachios. Pakistan should be definitely on your bucket list and soon. As always great video of positives and negatives.👍
I sadly had a similar feeling sometimes, both on this flight from India and on the flights to JNB... I don't know, I really want to think that it was just coincidence... And thanks for the info about the dessert! :D

I find it really interesting that Air India keeps their cabin doors open when on the ground. Seems like a fall from heights risk for employees. Anyone know why they do this?

Great report as usual buddy, I wonder what if the effects the huge amount of airborne sand has on the Emitates fleet in the engine dept, it cant be good for the workings on aero engines.
Dirty window, failed safety video, women shouting to each other over the central seating area, missing you out for tea/coffee? These minor irritations all add up. Your vlog, however, was detailed, informative and well constructed as usual. Thank you.

Good. Idea, especially the clearness of the views I am really impressed by this, but you spoiled the video by those little negative comments about dirty windows, in fact it was not dirty , it’s the residues of the water after being washed at Delhi airport and environment is not that clean so looked as if it wasn’t washed, found this invalid comment, second the conversation people sound as shouting, this the traditional way when India speak may look as if they are but in fact not it’s their way or language, again this spoiled your lovely videos, at all in all was a good video I enjoyed , keep it all positive , thanks for sharing much appreciated
