  • This is my overview of the new TWSBI Eco Lime Green, the fourth colour in this pen. I reviewed this pen originally 12 months ago and you can find that video on here if you want detail. This will give you an idea of the colour.
This pen was loaned to me by Purepens, many thanks - purepens.co.uk/...
You can find me on Instagram and Twitter as @inkwellpens. Come and take a look.

My first pen was a white eco with the medium Nib. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks and I absolutely love it!!! ❤️ 🥰

Thanks for the great review. It's helpful to see the difference between the two nib sizes. Being able to see ink in the clear section really really neat.

Just realized if you have a bunch of ECO’s you can change the colors on them to mix and match

Just received an Eco in clear today, with a 1.1 stub. So incredibly smooth, great value for money. (And I like your nails!)

Thanks for this. I'll be buying a Twisbi soon, and have been really interested in the lime green one. Thanks also for showing the difference in the nib performance. That is really helpful for me. P. S. Ignore the whinging about your nails. I don't find them distracting at all.

All fountain pen collectors continually find justification for just 'one more' pen! (LOL) I own both the black & white Eco & TWSBI Mini, however, I am wondering why they selected lime green vs. a more universal color. That lime green may appeal primarily to females vs. males.

Why, I love green, it's my favorite color. Well, I usually prefer darker, emerald green, but for a demonstrator pen like this I think that such color really fits. It looks kind of modern.

I am so excited to receive this pen, I ordered with a fine nib. I find it really appealing, and that the fluorescent green color matches the transparent body very well. I have the feeling it will cheer me up every time I have to write.

Any recommendations re cleaning the piston fill? Do you dismantle using the TWSBI wrench when changing colour? I bought the EF based on your recommendation but find cleaning the pen a bit of a chore? Great reviews. Love your channel.

djme123 I don't dismantle it ... I run it under water and fill and flush with water until it's clear.

Is it possible to interchange various categories of nib sizes in the TWSBI Eco i. e. Just like Lamy Safari? Or else one has to buy separate TWSBI Ecos for various nib sizes?

Hello. Your 580Al video convinced me to buy a 580Al in green. I think this video has convinced me to get a lime eco! I have a broad 580, and its a little wide for me. Would you say the eco nibs are closer to Western or Japanese line widths? I like my fine Kawecos, and Medium Pilots. Can you tell me if a eco medium is like a Pilot medium or a Kaweco fine? I really like your videos. Thanks so much.

Matthew Schneider glad you have a twsbi in your life. the nibs ar3 definitely on the western side. similar to lamy lines of width.

I also own the TWISBI ECO in Lime with a med nib and love it! It writes so smoothly, I was thinking of purchasing another. Do you suggest I go for another Echo or another type of TWISBI fountain pen. Love your informative videos thanks! 🇨🇦

Are these shimmertastic inks hard to clean from the Eco and how often do you clean them when using these inks?

    • @RuthHansonThePenandInkwell
      @RuthHansonThePenandInkwell  7 років тому

CHANTAL DOWLING I don't find them any more difficult to clean than other inks ... however I clean my pens out every week. if left in there too long I would find that the glitter clogs and stops the pen writing.
