Lockheed F-16C "Red 72" Shark, 64th Aggressor Sqn, USAF, Hobby Master 1:72 Diecast Model, HA38008

- F-16C 86-0272 c/n 5C-378 was produced in 1987 and assigned to 64 Aggressor Squadron (AS). In 1988 the aircraft was painted like a MiG-23 with a Bort number 72. In April 1989 the aircraft was the property of the Fighter Weapons School. In October 1993 the aircraft belonged to the 414th Combat Training Squadron "Red Flag" at Nellis AFB and received an Su-27 paint scheme. In October 2003 86-0272 returned to the 64 Aggressor Squadron and 2017 received a paint scheme resembling an Su-34. The Splinter and Shark paint schemes are the latest versions.
Today's example is from Hobby Master. It is 1:72nd scale and made of diecast with plastic accessories. The model is of the Lockheed F-16C Fighting Falcon from the USAF's 57th WG, 64th AGRS, #86-0272 "Red 72" / Shark, Nellis AFB, NV, March 2017. It is made very well with great detail and that Russian colour scheme is really nice on this Falcon.

F-16 is another favorite of mine, awesome jet. Always liked the landing gear on the F-16 too, it's also the gear they put on the new Boeing/Saab T-7 trainer, which I like alot too. Can't wait for a HM version of that one😛
The HM F-16 do go together very nicely and look good. Would be interesting if they do start making some new models instead of pumping out the same models over and over in different liveries,haha. Fingers crossed 😎

It certainly is a great little fighter, for price and effectiveness its good value for a lot of air forces. And geez I have some of these little Falcons carry some seriously big load outs!! Thanks again for dropping past!! You'll be sick of hearing my voice watching all these videos ,haha

@@user-jv8zh7gc4u Ah thanks for the kind words 😀 I have got a sizeable collection over the last few years, but have not done a video of them at this stage. I have had a few requests for this,haha. I will eventually but I want to set up a proper display. I need to buy some cabinets to put them in, as my current cabinets are full. So for the past year each video I do when I'm finished it gets packed away in its box,haha. I just have to stop buying models and save up for cabinets instead 🤣. I have a car for sale so hopefully when I sell that I can buy some cabinets from that money 😀.
When taking the HM F4 of the Sundowners out of the box a few years ago- it was so lodged that when it popped out-shot out is more like it, it became airborne- I swear I caught it in midair. And that was not the only swearing that day. It took half an hour for my blood pressure to lower and my heart rate to normalise.
Haha yeah sometimes the stress levels when trying to remove these can be crazy. I mean you spend some good money on theses only for them to package them in such a way there is a high probability of damage occuring if you dont hold your tongue right or press the tabs in the right combination,haha. I liked the foam packaging they use on some of their older models, so easy to take out. Corgi do the same at times. I think it's a way they try and get you as a repeat customer in the hopes you break your model and buy another,haha. I take medication prior to every video 😂

Haha true I do have a lot of F-4's, probably because so many air forces used them. The aircraft looks nice and you can get it in so many different liveries its hard to stop getting one,haha. But its not the size of the collection that counts, its the enjoyment it brings you that does. Diecast can be a religious experience,haha I don't mind the F-16's either, they are a cool little fighter I have a few myself. I wish someone would make a diecast of the F-16XL. I know only a couple were made but they are a great looking F-16 variant. I would have a lot more F-14's if they weren't so dam expensive,haha. Happy Hunting hope you score one at a great price!! It certainly does hold up well. Considering how long it's been in service it's still a very capable weapons platform and at a reasonable cost too!!

As for the model being taken out of the box: a few days ago, I had to take out two Corgi biplanes. Hawker Demon and Se5A (1:48 my first model in this scale). I thought that at that time I needed Pampers 😂
the Albatros will leave you needing either sedatives or a shot of the amber liquid!
Taking the plunge into the Corgi Biplane range you are going to need nerves of steel,haha. Some of those are I swear held in by some sort of demonic magic!!! That by the time you manage to release it from the packaging there is a high chance your biplane is now a monoplane,haha
