Oh crap you are absolutely right, not sure how it ended up on my to do pile. Dam, the only thing I can think of is there are some older videos that I want to redo as I wasn't happy with some of my outside ones and my presentation. Thats the only reason I can think that it ended up on my to do pile. I complete forgot about the one I did 2 years ago!!! Thanks for making me aware of that, I can probably close off the old one from public view!!

Oh wow that one looks awesome, that's with the U-Boat kill marking? I like the B-24's too. I got so caught up in the model that I never got back to that drum,haha. Looked like a novelty thing anyway. Hmmm maybe that skid is hiding in the box...hopefully!! I have yet to get a Sunderland, thanks for opening that wound 🤣, they are selling for insane money atm. Although that may change in a day or two if the diecast gods smile upon me!! Hmm I actually haven't noticed the difference in model weights, mainly because they are all packed away again. I will have to check that out once I start displaying everything. I am really hoping to get some cabinets this year to finally set up my garage with the models. As I have had a lot of people asking to see my collection,haha Thanks as always for dropping past the channel!!

Yes a little disappointing for what could be an ok model. The base of it is a solid foundation to work on, casting and paint is nice. But assembly and the wrong length rear wheels and dodgy finish on the blades let it down. But hey for $10AUD I didn't expect a lot 🤣 But trimming the landing gear maybe possible, or even maybe 3D printing the correct landing gear. As I say if your passionate about this particular aircraft you could for the most part fix it, so it looks good!! Amercom can surprise you with some nice models for the price for sure!! Although I can't promise there won't be blood in one of these box openings,haha

Yeah this is a really nice model. SkyMax do great work and another viewer has mentioned they are part of Hobby master so that explains why they are really nice. I have a "Model Monkey", he grabs me my beer and assembles the stands and is usually wiping the stress sweat from my forehead while filming!! 🤣🤣 Actually I wish, but seriously I am a one man show, its the beauty of the editing process and why every video I make takes me a few hours from start to finish. I usually spend 4 to 6 hours a video for the average viewers watch time of 2mins a video 🤣🤣 As always though thanks for watching!!!

Yeah Corgi B-24's are well made, I like them a lot. I don't have that many,haha I think I have around 4 or 5. You must have a lot of cabinet space,haha. You should do some videos of some as well!! You can never have too many people promoting our hobby!! Thanks for watching!!

You need a B-24 in your life,haha. You can get a cheaper AF1 brand one, which actually has an opening bomb bay!! But these Corgi ones are beauties and weigh a ton!! Thanks for watching!

Yes the extended rear wheels and the poor assembly and finish do let down what good be an ok model. Just needs some finesse. And yes that maybe a bayonet from an AK 😉...you sir have a good eye,haha

Thats correct, the rear wheels are extended way too much. If you correct this and tidy up the blades it will present nicely though. But straight from the packet it's a little disappointing!! Thanks for checking out the video!

Yeah I was curious about that myself, whether that was an early days thing that Corgi did before stamping there names into the models? I'm not sure. I like the B-24's too, thanks for checking out the video!

Oh wow that's an great price, right place at the right time!! Its a very solid model from Corgi, I like them. But as you say, space can be an issue, they have such a long wingspan. You need at least one B-24 in your life,haha

Yeah I wasn't exactly sure when the change over to the new landing gear design was made. The newer one is less fragile, as the old way with the strut sticking out tended to break off easily if handled a little rough too. I have an X-Model which I think I was told is the same mold as Air Commander and yes they are on a whole different level!!! and prices can be extremely high!!

I mainly just fit things to the model that are supplied just to show the viewer what it looks like attached to the model. But you are right , this is a full reconnaissance aircraft. 😁👍

Oh ok, did not know there were less options in earlier ones. To be honest the more things they add it usually adds to the purchase price too. Same with moving parts, I'm happy with less moving bits, if the model is finished better.

Hobby Master generally have a really good spares department. I had a model that was missing a torpedo and emailed them and they sent me out a replacement. I would suggest going to Hobby Masters website and shooting them and email quoiting the model number. If they have some in stock they will let you know. You may have to pay a small amount, but sometimes it free. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

Yeah I was surprised to learn after I did the video the better one was the older version. Those white walls are a great touch to protect the tyres from the desert conditions, I really like this version!! Thanks for dropping past!!

@@peterhewson3216 Yeah I read that they put the white wall on to try and protect the tyre rubber from heat and damage. You'll only notice this on North African theatre aircraft usually. 😁

Yes the Calibre one is very, very expensive,haha But it is really well made. I doubt I will ever find the Calibre Wings one in my price range. But I am very happy with the HM version, it's a nice solid model and you can pretty much have two HM MiG-31's for the price of one CW one if your not too fussed about the extra details of the CW one!! Yes this one is a little bit of a SkyMax clone. Haha yes the crew do definitely look like modern jet pilots!! But it's a cheaper option, but like everything, you get what you pay for. If you want the best, SkyMax is definitely the one to get!!

I'm surprised HM have made this kind of mistake! Are they significantly too small? I have had issues with JC Wings F-14's, fitment has been terrible, and mistakes made on the livery. Even areas visible that should be covered when in the various inflight or wheels down mode. Calibre Wings Tomcats are insanely good. If JC Wings start using Calibre Wings molds I would definitely buy them. But my last 2 JC Wings Tomcats have let me down a little!!

@@heavymetaldiecast Die alte JC-Tomcat ist ,an sich ,ein sehr gutes Modell, aber du hast recht ,sie läßt gerne Teile abfallen (hab ich meinem Kater abgewöhnt😁). Die Calibre ist etwas besser ,in dieser Hinsicht ,aber auch nicht ganz perfekt. Aber beide Formen haben ,eben, den passenden Windshield und in meiner Sammlung stehen beide friedlich nebeneinander ,obwohl eine von der Navy und die andere iranisch ist! Ich mag meine Katzenviecher!

@@Bf-109A Agree, Calibre Tomcats are great. I do love a Tomcat myself. I have an Iranian one also (but HM if I recall right). I am amazed at how the Iranians keep their Tomcats still air worthy!!

Yes the FoV models are nice. AF1 can be surprisingly good at times too. Its always good when you can get models at a good price!!! Your right though, Corgi can at times be a little hit and miss with their offerings!! Thanks for dropping past!
