I had the same exact issue man. I'm running a torq micro servo and I had the horn set at 10mm and it was wayyy too much. So I cut the arm down to 7mm and now it's beautiful. Even with the stock tail pulley. Running 13* of pitch at 2800rpm it's an animal!
