The Ikon was nice but was having problems with Bluetooth due to the developers not being up to date with newer android updates. Almost crashed a few times from this. Was randomly changing my settings and gains when connecting/freezing. Not sure if this is fixed or not yet. So then I ran the kbar for a while but hated connecting to the computer to change parameters. Im back to beastx on my helis. Good as gold. Easy to setup anywhere and its what I learned to fly on. @@v4zzy219 oh i see, it is interesting to see such points :) i actually was going to start with MicroBeast but then was suggested to rather get MSH Brain (Ikon), i also realized it have a rescue feature out of the box while with MicroBeast i have to pay extra for that. So when you went back to MicroBeast you didn't notice any big differences in the quality of flight?

The two flybarless systems are a totally different feeling in the air. I wouldn't say the beastx is better as far as software goes because I'm sure ikon is on top with that but the main reason I like the beastx is because it's simple and it gets the job done for me personally.

@@v4zzy219 oh interesting, i wouldn't think that there can be such noticeable difference, maybe it depends on settings and tuning, or still, even with all attempts to tune them similarly, they will be different? And according to your experience, which one feels more natural to you?

In my opinion the ikon feels very locked in but I like the alive and squirrely feeling of the beastx in general. I'm sure you could probably get the two to fly close if you messed with the parameters but still would be different feeling for sure.

Hello Francesco, i used a dx9 for a while and it was great but was later discontinued and replaced by the nx and nx se series. I tried a buddys nx series radio and didnt care for it. I decided to try something new and made the switch to futaba. Thanks for watching.
