I get so excited when I see a new Shark Happens video! I love that you don’t spend 20 minutes on each one with an over dramatic story, like the other animal attack videos do, and you give all of the details to paint the picture and tell a good account of the attacks.
They do a better job of explaining the human part of the attacks where i am mainly focused on the sharks behavior during them. Is funny how different it seems at times.
Great show again Hal, The guy that was attacked by not only a shark, but a rattle snake and punched by monkeys, it sounds like he is giving off a vibe that animals just don't like. He doesn't need to go on any Safaris or ride in a boat in Hippo territory. I'm sure he'd be a goner if he got around Hippos. 🤣🤣

@@RobinBerri The snake bite was worse. My dog was barking in the yard and I approached her. I felt what I thought was a bee sting on the back of my lower leg and I swiped it off. It was a small copperhead snake. I immediately drove myself to the hospital and had antivenin. A few hours later, the bite site was a purple/gray color and it stayed painful for a few days. The black widow spider had bitten me on a toe while I was sitting out in the sun. My toe was inflamed and red hot. I received antibiotics and an updated tetanus shot. So... I don't have to travel for my ordeals. I find them in my own back yard. Thank you Robin.

Great podcast as always Hal. Exciting news at my beach yesterday (Jan 31). Fishermen caught and safely released a twelve foot GW on Navarre Beach in the panhandle. The news clip video was awesome. God bless you Hal‼️ I was fascinated with sharks 🦈 in the 70’s, a machinist in the Marines in the 80’s scuba 🤿 diving off of Southern California and Okinawa Japan 🇯🇵. I attended Texas A&M University majoring in Marine Science until I was called up for Desert Storm. That definitely altered my career plans. Watching your show makes me grateful I never got into oceanography. You’d probably be doing a story on me being attacked which is a horrifying thought 💭.
