I dont think anything could be more terrirfying then sinking in the water from a shark biting your boat and then a 4 hour swim in or even knowing the direction to swim in feeling at any moment for those 4 hours anything couls k*ll you in those waters. Just to live through that and tell the tale I'd never even go near water again. God was with that man that day.
I love this show. I've got old wounds from head to toe and I specialize in trauma rehabilitation so I love hearing these stories. It can be quite educational if you look up the case and see how the person is recovering and how the surgeon put them back together.
Yesterday I went to a paddle out for a funeral ash spreding. We were out about 300 yards. I'm sitting there on my board thinkin, "Well this could end as a really good story on Sharks Happen". Haha
Speaking of fishing, the latest attack, a fisherman in Florida catches a shark. It lands in his boat, bites his arm pretty bad, police help to stop bleeding, after being called. There is a photo.
That is my exact sleep schedule Hal. I stay up 2-3 days, my mom said I was born a night owl, (there are actually many of us), and then I crash for 12-14 hours. Did that last night. I also suffer from terrible insomnia. I hate it. Like many others too, I can never sleep when there is a full moon. Hello to others here who are the same way!! You are not alone!!

You are so funny hal 🤣 I went fishing last week here in Wales I take my disabled brother, well I had a big carp on bent down to land it and I landed in the water went head first 🤣🤣🤣 just as well the water was warm, I couldn't get out quick enough I don't like the eels 😂 well the carp took off with my rod that was the end of my fishing day lol Keep your stories coming luv em xx
You're going to blow ISAF and anyone else out of the water with your database, once you get it complete. It'll be your legacy....well, that and your shirts. I can just foresee people using your data for decades and decades to come. Kudos brother.
Finally another show! You have us addicted to your shows Hal !!😅😊😊 glad you're back. Thanks for this show. Great as usual. Your fans from Texas!! 👌 👏 👍
Great show Hal & very interesting fishing 🎣 stroy sounds like the old Indian trail that no one takes any more thanks for sharing 👍 see you on your show take care man 👍🙏
We have just had 3 shark attacks confirmed today on my local beach in South Padre Island, TX. We have never seen so many in a single day! Even 3 in a whole year is very rare.
Back in 2015 a guy caught a 7 foot Bull shark off of the pier in Myrtle Beach south Carolina. He finally cut the line after it nearly pulled it off of the pier. Two teenagers were waiting to see what he caught and when they saw the shark they freaked out and said there is no way they are getting into the ocean again !! It scared them pretty bad to see a big shark that close to shore. The guy who caught the shark told them they might want to spread the word to their friends. 😅
I'm from Biloxi Mississippi and my daddy knew a marine biologist and she said that the tiger sharks used to breed in the Camille cut so it was probably a tiger
I love your laugh, but let me tell you….spiders!!!!! You would have heard me screaming, squealing and squalling for miles. I would have dropped everything and lit out of there until i reached my vehicle. I would try to fight a bear before i could deal with a big spider on me.
Hey Hal, you look like you're getting some good sun my man ! We're having a heat wave here in California. My family has a pool and we're close to LA County Beaches. We love it ! In regard to the trail- You're lucky he wasn't a serial killer lol
Apparently there’s been like 3 shark attacks over the Holidays in South Padre Island, Texas beaches!! There’s footage of it! Hope you can talk about these soon! Love your content btw! 💯💯💯
Poor Hal, it sounds like a less than enjoyable fishing adventure. Three hours of trekking through the brush on an overgrown trail, spiders, heat. I hope you didn’t get poison Ivy. At least you got a good tan 😊
I’m the same it’s the ADHD with me, if I want to do something in the day I have to stay up all night and because I usually stay up until 3.30-4 it makes sense but boy after two days I am crispy around the edges for sure. Love you Hal take care now x
Great show Hal! Looking forward to seeing your next show soon ❤ they are still looking for the man that is lost and no trace so far. I'm in Miami with my daughter and grandson.
Hi Hal, your channel is really great , one of my favorites . I appreciate the awareness I have gained in regards to : me being more afraid of sharks than they are of me ... I always suspected that 😅 Your wonderful presentation with respect for those who found out the hard way, great dangers lurk below... and sometimes in shallow water. 😢 Michigan is my home too, it's a beautiful shark free zone . You seem quite nonchalant about the spiders 😮Thank you!
G'day Hal, just thought I'd let you know that there are no Basking Sharks in Moreton Bay. You have to go further south to run into one of them. Great show as usual mate.
I was watching Reelz this am and they did a show about the USS Indianapolis. Made me remember the iconic speech by Quint in Jaws. Then I read the post about Alex Kitner 🦈 We've got Jaws on our brain 😊😅😅
Hal what is happening lately!? It seems like there have been so many attacks. Every time I see another news report of shark attack I rush to your channel!
Love the show Hal! Live here in maryland and ironically we don't hear of many if any attacks here in the Ocean City,Assateague, Chincoteague area...probaly due to scaring off tourist's...lol Would love to know if you have any on record in this area?
My guy's are all getting SHARKS HAPPEN shirts for Christmas this year. I start my shopping in August so by October it's all done and I can focus on baking and making candy. This year we're making candy sharks, we'll send you some 😊
Hal, I love your channel. You’re always entertaining. Thanks for spreading the word about these big fish that easily kill humans when they decide to do so. 👏 Edit: I wonder if you could wear an underwater/waterproof speaker on your wrist, that when turned on, emitted dolphin sounds? 🤔
Since my kids have been in S Padre this week I thought you might cover the shark attack there today, 7/4/24. This was one of 4 attacks reported as happening on July 4, today.

What kind of wounds? I got shot twice during a botched robbery of my home, once in the hip and once in the lower back.
If my dad were still alive he would love your fishing stories. He was a fisherman every chance he got.
the shark was like, i'm going to eat you before you can make soup with my fin!
I have missed the best shark show lately.Great to see you back with new content.
Excellent. Sunday afternoon Sharks happen video 👍🏻
Well, its afternoon here in England anyway 🤷🏻♂️😂
Yesterday I went to a paddle out for a funeral ash spreding. We were out about 300 yards. I'm sitting there on my board thinkin, "Well this could end as a really good story on Sharks Happen". Haha
So glad to not hear of that ❤
Where were you? I miss the water.
Whereabouts?

Oh geez! The spiders would have had me walking on water!! Funny story again Hal!!! Your laugh makes me laugh! 😂
Calamity Hal's Fish Tales.
I love your fish tales. Also your laugh is contagious. Keep’em coming! 🎣🐟💙

Come on Hal, fellow Michigander here ! Can’t believe your driving a 1-1/2 hours to fish, we’ve got a lake every 5 min here 😂
Remembering Alex Kintner today. 6/29/75 RIP.
😢❤

You knew Chief Brody. You knew all these things and yet my boy is dead.
Will that three thousand dollar bounty be in cash or check?

Another terrific show from my favorite channel. Hal, you are the best storyteller!

You’ve definitely caught the sun Hal, you’ve got a great tan. I’m the liability in my house, you’re the liability in yours!😂😂
Like our man Quint said: You're in the water, sharks in the water...
Hal,
Great Show!
I love the color of your shirt!
😊
Pink is ur color Hal!!❤ I have only ever heard about shark attacks in Japan on ur channel they’re never in the news!!
LOVE your stories Hal ! U R so FUNNY . Thanks , I needed those laughs.
The trail that wasn't really a trail. Haha.
Thank you so much for mentioning Biloxi Mississippi
You are an awesome storyteller, I love your stories!
Great show, Hal! Enjoy your fishing stories almost as much as the shark attacks. 😁
Virginia Beach had 4 “marine bites” and NC also had a bite in the past week.
Another great show Hal! Love your fishing stories and hearing you laugh!
So stoked to see an episode drop today! Mood just went up 8 points(whatever that means lol)

Perhaps but to make the distinction of whether or not it was a predation is suspect.
My man Hal back at it again with the quality content!
My man Paul back at it again with the quality comment! 🩵🦈
My two favorite people and their lines here ❤
Fascinates me the spelling or your surname! Morphy as....as in Morphy Richards?
Finally another show! You have us addicted to your shows Hal !!😅😊😊 glad you're back. Thanks for this show. Great as usual. Your fans from Texas!! 👌 👏 👍
Good morning Hal!! Love your show!! You rule!
We should call you Spiderman!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Great show Hal & very interesting fishing 🎣 stroy sounds like the old Indian trail that no one takes any more thanks for sharing 👍 see you on your show take care man 👍🙏

Great show again hal your the best 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🦈🦈
The Hawaii attack of David Nanod in 1996 was on his right calf according to newspaper article.
I was thinking, if he was able to kick the shark with his pther leg, he must have been bitten lower down.
We have just had 3 shark attacks confirmed today on my local beach in South Padre Island, TX. We have never seen so many in a single day! Even 3 in a whole year is very rare.
Bull shark most likely on the first one
Sunday afternoon here in London, thanks for more great content Hal 😊

The Fishing Gods are defeated by your perseverance sir…. And they appreciated your sacrificial offering at the end.
Thank you, Hal from South Africa 🇿🇦
Glad your back brother, I kept checking.
Great show Hal, your fishing story about that spider filled path reminds me of Led Zeppelin’s no quarter” they took the path that no one goes”
David was VERY lucky he didn't lose that leg....lucky to have his life too. Wow.
I'm from Biloxi Mississippi and my daddy knew a marine biologist and she said that the tiger sharks used to breed in the Camille cut so it was probably a tiger
If a tiger shark bites you, due to their incredible teeth, it's rarely a little thing. I'd guess it's more likely a bull shark.
@@davelister2961 and you may be absolutely right it may have been a bull shark 🦈🙏🙏🙏
Still here Hal😁 been here for years no matter what. Still love the show too.
Stay out of that water😉
Dude your a great story teller as most fisherman are 😆 glad i found your channel, been loving the content

Keep up the great work!
I love your laugh, but let me tell you….spiders!!!!! You would have heard me screaming, squealing and squalling for miles. I would have dropped everything and lit out of there until i reached my vehicle. I would try to fight a bear before i could deal with a big spider on me.
I LOVE your pink shirt, it looks so nice on you.I had to correct my spelling.💓
Another great show, Hal.
Thanks for all the info and I love your stories. 😎

That was a horrible event!!! 😢😢😢🦈
A five inch Bluegill attack on a nightcrawler. It would be terrifying. It won't make the stats though. Thumbs up for the stories!
Love the show Hal not sure when The Legasea in Utic,MI opens but they are going to have an amazing shark tank !!..
