Well I'm glad you are still here
Me too. I love this channel.
Same! My favorite shark channel
Hal survived an attack by UA-cam. A true survivor.
I'm glad he's still here,as what would be the point of looking at a blank channel!🤭😜🤭I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself! Seriously,I'm SO glad that Hal's still here.A great channel, love it.🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️🐊🐊🐊
Yah I was gonna leave but decided to stay thanks for noticing 😂
I guess Hal calmed down and reconsidered keeping his channel going.
Good decision and glad to have you back Hal.
What do you mean?
What happened? I missed something.
I've been here since the beginning and I'm still here.
“Started from the bottom now we’re here, started from the bottom now the whole teams here”
Hal, we had another shark attack here in Adelaide Australia on Friday. At Port Noarlunga. The diver was bitten on the head, face, and hands by a GWS. It's the fourth attack in 5 mths. She was actually free diving as that beach also has a huge reef. That we all use to learn to scuba dive. The problem is Hal we have a reef wall that is to keep swimmers and divers safe. She went over that wall and off the drop off into deeper waters.
Yes, a young woman. Was the attack off the jetty i mentioned. Bitten in the face. I am assuming a tiger shark from the part where the boyfriend pushes it away
@@SharksHappenI was there it was free diving. We all thought it was a reef shark. To start with it. Turned out to be a great white.
Bravo Hal 👏 👏 👏 keep em coming 👏
I have never heard of a Tiger Shark in South Australia
@@SharksHappenWe don't have tigers in Australia mate
Your a gifted story teller Hal. From Sharks to madman Frank. Glad your still with us.
It’s almost funny to me that the “small” sharks he doesn’t put in his records that are 5ft are the same size as me. So a 5ft shark seems big to me
Right just like all potatoes are mash potatoes to my stomach haha
Sharks don’t put 5’ and under people in their records either….. that’s just a snack. Snack attacks don’t count.
pro tip..
stay out of the water if you don't want to be attacked.
I always had a fear of water. Not knowing what was swimming near me. I used to gill my bath tub and slap it with a stick before stepping in....
After that 4 a.m. video, I was afraid we weren’t going to hear from you again. Glad to see you tonight. Another Michigander. 😊 🦈
Soooo glad you are still with us!!!!!!❤
I grew up in Hong Kong. Tiger sharks are very common there and responsible for a large number of attacks and fatal attacks. Great whites are occasionally seen in HK, but are quite rare. Tiger sharks have made numerous attacks in the Clearwater Bay/Sai Kung area, which your video covers for Yan Sai-Wah. I'm 99% sure you are wrong in automatically assuming that attack was a Great White. All attacks I know of in the area you specify have been tiger sharks.
Wow...sounds like many of those attacks and fatalities go unreported to places where Hal gets his reports ..like a world wide shark attack library!!
Same thing round here. Every spring un n down the eastern side of South Dakota bub, wham! Tiger shart attacks, all spring. Like clockwork 💯 so I hear ya.
I'm going by Hong Kong newspaper reports from the 1970s-1990s. @@Melsincatuation
Awesome Hal..... Been hoping you would upload again.... You can't stop now bud you have all your fans hooked! Get it.... Hooked? Lol
I love it when you recount 1900's era attacks - just so interesting. You know a lot of us have been here for the long haul and we aren't going anywhere. Hal, you have had some crazy adventures! Looking forward to some Nugent stories - got to see him in concert in the late 70's.
@cindymckimm5681 . Hal knows Ted Nugent? He is a wild man😂!
@@leewagner2945 Wango Tango!
It’s great to see you sitting there telling us about mean fish…..👍
I'm glad to see you haven't given up Hal! Don't let them win!
I have literally dozens of stories, mostly funny still to go
@@SharksHappen keep them coming!
So glad to see you brother , keep fighting the good fight , you rock so. California
❤😊Sooo happy you're still here! Love you lots and your excellent shows ❤️!
It's 4:30am here in Europe, I wake up and see Hal has posted 😎 I don't usually watch YT at this time of day ....but when I do .....
Same😂
His channel really is that good
I just wondered how difficult it is to get information from places like China, Hong Kong, Russia, Korea etc? Or even to get information out to people about attacks, beach closures etc?
It was a lovely surprise to wake up to another episode, thank you Hal 😃
I think it's the other way round - they take more bites out of sharks than vice versa!
@@Mr.MFuckingYTchangedmyname😂 true lol. The sharks are losing that battle… badly
I lived in Hong Kong at Stonecutters Island for 3 yrs went swimming everyday no sharks
I've gone through hours of your videos today. A new one at bed time is perfect.
"Doing some surfing" shows clip of seal on a surfboard! 😂
I really enjoyed this video, especially the story at the end.. you are a terrific storyteller.
Keep them coming Hal. 👏👏
Hello Hal... Great to c u back in action. No bullshitting.. Great sense of humour... Integrity.. Authenticity. Simply the best shark platform... Keep going. Walk proud. Enjoy your channel immensely. From South Africa.. 💯👌🎉🎭
Of course I’m sticking around!!
I hate the crap UA-cam is putting you through, Hal. The selfish part of me is so glad to see you though .
You have been, and always will be, my favorite podcast host. Love you, buddy.😊
P S. Cant wait to hear some of those Uncle Ted stories!!
Prove your love,DONATE 60$!!- Hal
Great show Hal!! Thanks you for sticking with it!! Your show is among our favorite shows to watch. We appreciate your honesty and keeping it real about these attacks. Keep it up sir!!!
So glad you are back don’t give up
Hal!, Whether we've been here from the beginning, or are new to the channel, do you honestly think that the majority of us, your viewers, can remember the details anywhere close to your memory? So understanding that, please explain to us things that you think we may want to hear. lol
And I'm absolutely loving this story of a piece of your life! Absolutely loving it!
Soooo excited to see you upload Hal 🦈🦈🦈🦈
I have to tell you I love your personal stories! Especially that fishing trip with your Dad. Anything that could go wrong, did! It was hilarious 😂. Some of your stories remind me of a Lucy skit. "I love Lucy!" Take care! Huge fan!
Hal, if you forgot doing a case before then we have probably forgot as well! I don’t care anyway, I love hearing you tell about all of the shark attacks! I am embarrassed to admit that I LOVE THE OCEAN AND SHARKS! I would always only go in to waist or chest deep thinking that shark attacks do not happen in that shallow of water! Your show has been shocking and informative to me! I was cracking up at your story about Frank, “it’s 3am and just wanna go home and ol Frank over here got his gun out” Good grief!
Remember all the previous attacks, been here since episode 7. I have seen every episode 2-3 times. I would believe that anyone who truly enjoys this channel never stopped viewing. I even just watched the non Shark end story, as well as all the 4 minutes of crappy ads UA-cam attached at the end in order to beat UA-cam's games against Hal and other creators. If it helps Hal get a little something for his time and effort then I'll do it!! I suggest you all suffer these ads at the end if you truly want Hal and Shark's Happen to stay afloat.
Think about how many lives your saving Hal.. 😮
I think about how many hospital visits i might prevent if youtube lets me be seen like the rest of shark world
@@SharksHappenAbsolutely a life saver! I know the 1st words I'll speak to anyone going to the ocean is to never pee in the water! It seems to be a very plausible explanation as to how and why they target people. I know now if I do decide to go in the water, I'm safer as a diver than I am a swimmer or surfer
@@hedginbets7356
Don't be a dick.
Dick.
@@SharksHappenyou deserve your own show on TV. It needs a big reach.
@@hedginbets7356Trolling? Maybe with all the interesting tales Hal is telling us, it puts thoughts in people’s heads to be shark aware while playing in their playground?
Hi Hal. Great show. People who don't want to lie under oath plead the fifth. Love the fact that you are honest... people who have integrity seem to be a rare breed these days. Take care.
Sharks are back in town!
Q: What's more dangerous than any shark?
A: Frank.
Lmao!!!
Between that and his falling asleep driving us up to hunt you aint wrong
Loved the crazy Frank story, what a experience you had!!! Glad you survived it, lol😉👍👏
Love ya shark man.❤
Yay Hal!!! So happy to see you’re still here!!! I think you should put 1 or 2 ads at the beginning of each show and you’re loyal subscribers will understand that you need to earn a living. Please don’t leave us brother. We gotta get the Stat mission finished!
Hey Hal, I am from Westland so I am semi familiar with those east side cities. As much as I love your shark shows and you really are a good story teller also!!
Best Shark channel on the platform, by a country mile 👍🏻
F SueTube.
I was watching some stuff on that poor kid Cameron Robbins that jumped of the cruise boat. A lad was breaking it all down.
Definitely looks like the kid got taken by sharks, IMO.
Rough way to go. R.I.P 🙏🏻
Hi Hal, I've been watching your channel since the begining. I can't believe how you blew up 🤯! You deserve it! I love your channel and your humor! I wish you continued success! Huge fan from Washington State 😃 🦀 🌲
So very entertaining! Not matter what you are telling us. Sharks of course are what brought us here, but I admit I also love your personal stories. :) Albany, GA here.
Great video again Hal! I was living in Tampa at the time that guy jumped off the pier in the canal behind his home and basically jumped on that shark! It that still freaks me out!
Yes, i think the shark was actually successful hunting the fish just prior and only bit Mr kubinski out of being startled
Love the decal on the wall behind you! Looks FANTASTIC!
Great story! Both of my parents are from Michigan so anytime I hear 8 mile mentioned & some of the street names It brings me back even though I don’t know where any of them are I just remember stories about those streets… love your videos & best to you from Colo
Best show on UA-cam! 🦈👏👏
You’re not the only one having the stuff hidden...2 of the biggest attorneys with channels are bitching about the same thing! Lol you’re in-good company! 😎😇🎯
Well, the 2 biggest non left leaning attorneys. For some reason the attorneys i have watched, Rikate Law and another are every bit as good as Legal Eagle. Yet Dem leaning eagle does as well as Malibu artist and other non right leaning shark channels do compared to me. It is across the board on the shows i watch. 10 maybe 20 percent views to subs ratio. Non right leanings get their sub numbers and more routinely. This includes the mr beasts and everyone youtube favors
@@SharksHappenExactly, leftist bent is horrible these days. Any democrat, centrist or conservative that don't toe the line and preach the gospel of the wokies end up seeing themselves throttled and demonetized for everything. It doesn't matter if the information is correct, it isn't the pre-approved rhetoric so no money. They're awful people, top to bottom
One showed a k bar knife and was shut down for over a month....so, this week ...his first solid week back up, he showed the same K bar knife and left the sheath on....I think he was testing the non human algorithm. He says it’s not his day job so he can afford to test them. He was simply demonstrating where the DNA allegedly was found in the snap in a case he covers regularly.
I've become fascinated and very interested in Sharks and Shark attacks due to this channel. I've downloaded the Shark tracking app and it's amazing. I also go online after watching a Sharks Happen video and check out any information online about the attacks mentioned in each video. I love the way that you tell it like it is. No BS, no sugarcoating things or any other drivel that some so called Shark ' experts ' come out with. I'm glad that you're still uploading these videos on UA-cam.
You the man Hal, best channel on UA-cam!
Always a good show Hal ! Thanks for so many entertaining videos 😁👍

Hi Hal, Paul from Australia here! An original viewer I've watched every episode some twice, every new episode I watch soon as I see it up, a shark story for you my work mate decided to go swimming at a beach in Portland Victoria last weekend the beach is behind Alcoa aluminium plant (seal breeding area) he was in the water swimming and said somthing rammed him so hard it knocked the wind out of him
He didn't see anything turns out he had broken ribs and a bruise that took basically the whole left side of his body I've seen it, looks like he was hit by a car! Spooked him so bad he said ' I'm never swimming in the ocean again'! I said to him
'What were you thinkin?! Haha
Keep up the good work love your show
Probably a bull shark. They ram sometimes when they’re being territorial as a warning before they bite. Or to test potential prey.
Hello Hal. We all appreciate your content!! Keep them coming. SALUTE
Great recounting of the adventures of Frank!! 😂
Hi mate
Great to see that you’re still working away as usual!
What did shite tube apologise to you Hal?
Keep up the great work brother!
Cheers from Perth 🇦🇺 ❤😊
Always look forward to your videos Hal. Keep up the fight.
I was having a hum drum day trudging through snow all day to do chores here in Maine. As I sitting here eating supper I decided, I need to hear Hal’s voice tonight! I’m so glad you hung in there and kept with it. ❤
Great show! Interesting facts on the sharks but the crazy cop story was the best! 🤣🤣 Detroit sure does have some interesting people. I was a downriver rat back in the 70s. LOL!
Thanks for your work, Hal! 🌿
My days of body surfing here in FL are over now, thx to your data.
Boats are the only way I hang out in marine environments now. 😅
p.s. •crappies are delicious
Hey there, Hal! Great video, and the life story was awesome. I'll be waiting for your next show. Until next time....see ya!🦈
Thx for 'visiting' Hong Kong again, Hal!😊 It was probably a tiger shark, as the waters here are generally too warm for GWs~also the fact that the guy's limb was taken so cleanly
Good to know.
Awesome side story! It reminds me of how stupid I was back then.
Great story Hal! So glad to see you post today.
so happy to see a video from you!
I really enjoy hearing your stories and hope you keep telling them.

Hal, I'm so glad you're still making videos. You are my favorite channel and I enjoy your videos so much.
Good show today. Always enjoy your programs. Glad you are back.
Hey Hal, long time watcher here. Love your videos, keep 'em coming!
I know how you like the ocean hehe, I have a story for you.
When I was a teen, I went on vacation to Hampton Beach with the family. I was in the ocean bobbing up and down, just chillin'. I didn't know about them then, but I was stuck in a rip current, getting further and further away from shore with every bop.
I was starting to get a bit worried about that as I was maybe 100-200 feet from shore at that point when suddenly as I was coming down my right hand landed on a "fish" at my side (it was perpendicular to the shore). It felt about barracuda size, more tall than wide,, but it could have been the tail of something bigger as I never saw the thing.
Let me tell you, rip current or not, you've never seen a Canadian swim with this much determination to get out of the water 😂
Ye have little faith my man , been here from the start and will continue till the end If you have been here from the start or close too it let Hal know .
As always, terrific content! I’ve been following your channel for quite awhile and you keep it entertaining and informative. Glad you are still here, Hal!
A freight train with steak knives plowing into you. Holy crap!
That was a great non shark story. You have some very interesting and unique characters in your life. I mean that with all due respect.
I’ve been following your channel from almost the beginning and have seen every episode so don’t think long time users are scarce. I love the content and looking into the facts in a reasonable light and not dramatizing them or diminishing them.
Another great video Hal thank you very much for taking the time to do these videos for us all to enjoy,as tragic as they are.
Cheers from the UK.
Oh, I am so very pleased to see a new video from you Hal! Thank you for posting. I was afraid that there wouldn’t be any more of them from my favourite channel. 🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
My man Hal back at it again with the quality content!
Those of us who are shark enthusiasts DEFINITELY would know who Lloyd Skinner is no matter when you bring it up 🤣🤣🤣🦈🦈🦈
Shark attack enthusiasts might be more accurate
Nice to see you again and love hearing your stories. You have the best laugh. It's contagious!😂
Hal, so glad you’re still here. I can’t remember but have you covered the attacks near Oak Island NC in the summer of 2014? I lived there at the time and the media didn’t want to release many details. I’m sure it was because they didn’t want to scare off the tourists. I think all the victims were attacked around a pier where fishermen were cleaning fish and throwing crap in the water. If you go in an area like that it’s basically FAFO. I love sharks but I’m not entering their dining room.
Hi Hal….Thank u for another awesome video!! We love ur videos over here in Jersey 🤗
So glad to see this new video! I enjoy all of them. Thanks for staying.😁
I wanna hear about Ted Nugent on the set of Miami Vice. That’s a great episode! And that was a good story well told, Hal. I love the idea of cruising neighbourhoods with a mobile arsenal! 😺👍🌴
Glad you're back! I always get your videos on my feed. Hopefully things work out! Its your delivery that makes these videos.

Happy to see you ! Great videos hal!
So happy you're still on!
grouper is my favorite.....i used to go to florida and getting that fresh grouper with some lobster was the best meal ever.......
Love Grouper!
I love grouper too. But have you ever eaten sheeps head? I catch then off tge seawall using snails off the wall as bait. I can usually see the sheepshead and just let out a little line and thread a few snails on the hook and I can basically pick my fish and bounce my snails off the wall and catch it. But except for difficulty in cleaning a sheep's head I think they taste pretty close to grouper. Aby seawall in south Florida has the striped snails and plenty of sheepshead.
Funny story about a sheepshead, my brother gave me one he caught but didn’t get cleaned, so me; being a kid, put it in a big cool whip bowl in alcohol to take to school for my science class….. needless to say my teacher freaked out because he thought I had a 🐑 sheep’s head 🤣🤣
@@BilboBegginz they are hard to clean. Nasty bone ridge. My dad can filled so fast they still swim. He used to tell us kids their sides grew back. But my dad taught me how to clean one and it's hard. But worth it. Delicious white fish.
@@sixfootben4892 I was young when we moved away from Florida so I don’t remember much about what they tasted like but I remember my brother coming home from the river with a sea bass about as big as he was! Someone on a boat gave it to him and he rode home on his bike with it over his back and the tail was dragging the ground! They cleaned it and we feasted on that fish. There were 8 of us kids, and there was plenty to go around! He said people were stopping him and trying to buy it from him 🤣
Mullet is delicious too. And like Hal, I love grouper!
Thanks Hal!!!❤🙏💙
We had a large grey nurse shark around ten to twelve feet long chase a group of competing surf club swimmers in. It was stopped by our jet boat that raced out and cut it off. It was going after the last swimmer in the group. It wouldn't leave the area for some time and eventually driven away. I was there on the day and was in the race before this one. My brother was in the race and was winning and my friend was the last place whom the shark was after.
Shelley Beach NSW Central Coast Australia. Approximately 70 miles north of Coogee in your attack from Grey Nurse Shark. The larger ones seem to be a bit more interested in pursuing humans.
Listening to all these attacks and the details makes me really nervous when the family wants to take my son to the beach without me. I've had enough close calls with all kinds of dangerous wildlife in and out of the water and I imagine my luck will go down the family tree.
WoW, Kure Beach, my fav beach on Pleasure Island. I live in Wilmington, NC, but Kure Beach is my favorite place to go. And yes they have Hammerhead and Bull sharks that visit the beach! Thank you for adding it to your show. 9:49
Thanks for the video, Hal. Happy to see you!!! That kid that caused all that chaos pleaded no contest after all that.....it's basically pleading guilty I think. Great story!!! 😊😊
