Classic Burn player; just keep casting spells until they finally ran out of counter magic. Lucky for Chandra that Tamiyo didn’t have Flusterstorm considering all the other free counter magic she had.
@@elementaleighteight Wait, there's a difference? xD (I actually have no idea what I'm talking about, just a filthy casual mostly into MTG for the lore. Feel free to roast me)

I love how you orchestrated and used magic cards to create an atmosphere of playing a magic duel in real life plus it helps having awesome special effects 😀
Right because you counter the spell they get with the mana. Who cares if they have extra mana sitting around? Where I do fault this video is that a burn deck is running Grapeshot to begin with.
As someone who is studying enviorment art and special effects also a huge card game and magic fan. This was extremely well done. Special effects were AAA Quality.
Please make more of these MTG duels - I never knew I needed this in my life lol And hell yeah for Chandra - she's one of if not my favorite Planeswalkers; I have two different versions of her in my Red/White Soldier deck.
This makes me want to see someone act out the origin story of Kamahl, Pit Fighter, where in the arena, you had to draw mana from the possessions in your satchel. That would be an interesting video.
anyone else hoping for a Flusterstorm or Summary Dismissal at the end there? to be fair, I'm a blue player... Also Amazing LP keeps putting out incredible content and expanding to more card games, I'm all about it!
I was wondering why she let seething song resolve like that if she didn't have the counters for her incoming spells. Then again I dont think she counted on a burn spell that has storm.
Wow, that would be amazing indeed! I never considered that thought. Actually it could be a perfect game for VR, because the main downside for VR games is, that people will get sick if there's too much turning around and movement forced. But in a Magic duel the players basically just face each other, no need for running around. Imagine all the cool backdrops located in different planes, how sick summoned creatures would look and how it would feel to actually cast a spell with your own hands, thanks to the help of visual effects. Holy moly... I hope I get to witness that generation of VR card games still. That sounds so much fun, especially for casual magic formats / players, who just want to enjoy an epic fantasy card game and not turn MTG into "netdeck + math for the win", as most competitive players treat it.
I imagine every game in a realistic way and it creates some amazing scenarios that would look awesome if they would be properly adapted into a movie or a CGI animation.
Animation and video quality are great! But you should also have made sure that the game is played correctly ;) "Red Elemental Blast" (which seemed to be played before "Blue Elemental Blast") can't be played without a target. The classic blue beam vs red beam is cool of course, but that is not how those cards work.
I think the idea is that REB is targeting an Island. That's illegal too of course because Islands are colourless not blue, but it's a common misconception.
This is freaking amazing! 😍😍Haha just 2 anticlimatic scene at the middle and the end….talent is very pretty and talented! But the VFX master is the most incredible one!😍😍😍😍😍
Oh wooooow everything about this video was awesome,, Don't give up and keep up this great work, i hope to see more like this in the future! I play modern mono-red Burn, and Chandra is my favorite planeswalker!
@@DanteAtropos Urza would come up with a thousand-year plan where he fucks up so much that at the end, the Fire Elemental has turned into a supervillain with its own plane and plans to take over important other planes, and then he has to come up with yet another thousand-year plan in order to stop it.
Classic Burn player; just keep casting spells until they finally ran out of counter magic. Lucky for Chandra that Tamiyo didn’t have Flusterstorm considering all the other free counter magic she had.
Also if all they have are counterspells can't you wait for their next turn before you cast your instants?
I was expecting flusterstorm lol
Lol classic blue player being smug
Or stifle. Nothing counters storm more than just stuffing their copying trigger.
- Lightning bolt!
Force -
- Really?
Amazing. Not only did you make me wish this was a series but you also perfectly capture why playing against blue is so incredibly frustrating.
Blue ?? Or the meta

Tamiyo has all these counterspells and she just lets that Seething Song resolve?! What?!
Typical blue overconfidence: "I draw so many cards each turn, it essentially doesn't matter if I spend one counterspell or five."
@@tarvoc746 She isn’t drawing any cards off of what is just counterspells. She two for one’d herself for a LIGHTNING BOLT!

Hahaha right!!!!.
Tamiyo: If all you wanted was a scroll why didn't you just ask.
Chandra: Oh, never thought about it 🤔
As a long time Magic player, this was phenomenal to see. Good work!

This was indeed amazing. Love the detail and how expressive the actors were. Also the anime-style eyecatch was just 👌

Cool concept, and effects were solid.
This is so great! Straight to favorites. Poor Tamiyo! Survive!
This is actually quite good.
My heart demands a full length feature film or a 1-3 season series.
It doesn't even have to tie into the actual lore that was fukin awesome
These mad lads went and made Chandra real
Life is now worth living

My only gripe is that it's very out of character for Tamiyo to simply whack that fire elemental.
