Normally, I just watch your spinning designs in awe - my brain does just not seem to work that way 😂 - but with this video and the Sizzix tool, I find myself seriously considering going for a spin… Thank you for the inspiration, Ardyth. Beautiful cards! Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
Ardith, I love how you are showing so many different effects. I have the tool now and really need the ideas which you are giving. Can I ask you to keep going until you're exhausted? HAHA Thanks so much!
Hi Ardyth 👋 Awesome card designs! 👍I couldn't pick a favorite. 🤔 I like them all. 😊 I have the stamp wheel to try different stamps with. Thank you for sharing. Happy Crafting ✂️ Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth Bless You all and Keep You Safe 🙏
What terrific cards! And it slays me how fast these are done!!I’ve never been a wreath person but I love your wreath with the die cut flowers! My favorite of course is the flowers! But I like all of them a ton! Looks like you had no problem fitting playtime in with this new toy even being gone! lol I love to see your fabulous ideas! These are all fantastic!
@@ardyth have a blast and don’t feel guilty buying new supplies. Just get rid of some old ones. I’m anxious to see what you got! Hey I tried something new today. Pressed an embossing folder into the gel plate inked up. Worked pretty well. Just fooling around. Didn’t accomplish anything! Have a great time! Tell the girls have fun!
Ooh!! The leaf wreath with the rusty flowers!!! 😍 (But as usual, they are all quite fantastic!!) The first couple were so confusing though!😂 I'd have messed up for sure!
These are all fun cards but the white floral wreath is so pretty! It would make a great wedding card! Have a great weekend Ardyth! From blustery, but currently sunny, Alberta! ☀️🇨🇦
Yes, great video again Ardyth! I really liked the traditional flower wreath and the tip for the die-cut arrangement! Thanks again! And see you next time!
Thanks Nicolle. I have been away this week, so I can't promise a video next week, but after that things should be getting back to normal! Thanks so much for always showing up and encouraging me!
Awesome ideas!!! I got the Stamp and Stencil tool for Mother's Day and I've been thinking about adding the Stamp and Spin tool to it. This has just confirmed that I will be buying it! 😜 Wonderful inspiration! Thanks for sharing!
Great ideas. Many of them. can be used for many other stamping applications. The simple one with white flowers was my favorite. Crafty maraki has beautiful dies.
This was an amazing video thanks Ardyth. I am going to but this addition as I already have the basic stamp and stencil tool. I have the colours wheel one too but for some reason I feel this is better. You’ve just given me so many ideas. ❤
Thank you so much for your inspiration. I love my stamp and spin and made 9 cards the first week. I like it for making my own backgrounds too. I've been searching for more inspiration and new designs. I never was a wreathe maker but love this versatile tool. I can use my own red rubber stamps too! I'm looking forward to more designs from you.
Yes, I would try the white flowers with the gel print centers. Nice variety of stamping spins. I understand that the wheel is meant to click into eight spots. but I wonder if it is possible to print a 5 or 7 symmetry on a piece of paper and use that to align the stamps, without a click. ?
You could do that with a regular MISTI right? You wouldn't need the spinner? I'm not quite picturing how the spinning function could work with 5 or 7 (or 6 or 12 for that matter! lol!) It's been a busy couple of months and I haven't had time to sit down and really push this tool beyond the initial uses yet, so I'll keep thinking about this. Thanks for watching!
Hi Ardyth. You certainly have been able to get lots of different configurations. I especially loved the leafy ones and the simplicity of the white flower wreath. Thanks so much for the awesome demo. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
You always have such great ideas. Love the white flower die cut card. Well, you know, I kinda love them all. Each of them has something to offer. IMHO. The idea for the word Happy with Birthday in the middle and making it personalized is great, too. I may CASE that one.
Love these designs! The Sizzix stamp tool and spinner attachment are on my wish list, maybe for my birthday in August, so I will be able to play! Thank you. xxx💖💖💖
I'm thinking about purchasing some kind of mandala-design maker and am happy to see that you are trying to find different techniques and designs for the various tools out there. Thanks so much for doing my research for me!! Beautiful results.
Very cool 😎 ideas! I would definitely like to have this tool, but can’t really justify buying another stamp positioner right now. But still enjoy the creativity and inspiration 😊
I have the stamp and stencil tool, been thinking about the circle attachment, and the way you used it shows more positions then I've seen. So yes, I'm going to order it.. Love your videos and always learning some thing. Thanks for Sharing and all you do. Have a great week...
@@ardyth My spinner is arriving any day now; have been using the stencil/stamp portion. Hope you will develop even more ways to use this tool. Possible to do squares instead of circles??
@@MargeWakeling Right off the top of my head if you want to do a square, when you are spinning, stamp, then skip a turn, then stamp, skip, stamp, skip, stamp, so that you are only stamping 4 times. That will give you a square. I will definitely be thinking up more ways to use it!
Could be, I was thinking more likely one of the MFT Die-Namics Blueprint sets? I actually have a number of them, each with different numbers and sizes of dots. Thanks for watching!
This may not come as a surprise, but I love the cards you demonstrated (have I ever NOT?). Thank you for pointing out the advantage of the sizzix tool - affording more room for larger stamps. Have you tried using it with a grip mat instead of the thin sticky mat? I'm asking just out of technical interest. I'm quite firmly set on not buying one or the other. For that kind of money, I think I'll stick to my "classic" wreath builders (like the ones Gina K. offers). I've been cutting them myself from cardstock, stencil material, and even acetate for ages in several sizes using my electronic die-cutting machine. They're not quite as flexible, but they're working fine. However, your cards will serve as an inspiration using those just as well!
Absolutely, wreath builder is a good, inexpensive option for spinning - I used it this weekend at the Nashville Craft Retreat! I still have more things to try with this tool including using red rubber stamps and a thicker mat. It seems like the spinning lid is very close to the base when it is closed, but the hinge may have some flexibility. Thanks for watching, Stephanie!
Hi Ardith what do you use in your die cutting machine to keep the plates from getting warped I watched a video one time and I cannot remember what you called it?
I think you might be referring to my i-crafter Magnetic Pro-Deck. It has a self healing surface and a magnetic core. I have not had any warping with it. www.simonsaysstamp.com/products/i-crafter-i-mend-self-mending-magnetic-pro-deck-cutting-pad-222160?
How can I get the dimensions of the new spin accessory? I have a sizzix stamping tool with 2 removable sides (it's the stampinup (sizzix) version of the misty). I am hoping I can order this new spin accessory for it. Dimensions of my tool is 8x8.
That's a good question. I assume Sizzix has dimensions on their site. I'd be most concerned about whether the hinges are spaced the same distance on the two tools, otherwise it won't fit. Thanks for watching!
Hi Ardyth. Your cards turned out great. I see you have a mat in the platform. Do you know if you can put the Altenew Sticky mat in this tool and make it work well? Also, Can you use red rubber stamp in this tool?
These things are both on my list to try. The wheel is very close to the base when the door is closed, so I was thinking not, but I'm starting to see other people figure these things out, so I guess we'll all learn together! Thanks for watching!
ardyth and@@BoGilmore Hi I was replying to Ardyth a few weeks ago about this same question. I experimented, and my final decision is a sticky/grip mat, a large one from an unbranded co that I found on Amazon, is a lifesaver for this great Sizzix tool! Initially I had trouble with an odor the mat had, a chemical odor that made my eyes water. But any other mat I tried had such drawbacks that I went back to the big grippy one. I worked with it for a couple of days soaking it in baking soda, then a day in the hot AZ sun, then a day in OxiClean, and another day in the hot AZ sun. The odor is almost gone...does not bother me anymore. It covers the bottom of the platform exactly, and I leave it in there for stamping, ink blending, stenciling, and spinning. I cover the mat with a nonstick cover before closing the platform cover so it doesn't stick to the platform cover. I ordered another one and have just finished conditioning that one; never want to be without it again. My cardstock stays put. I can easily peel cardstock off with my Scotty Peeler and it does not curl when peeled off. Game changer! Ardyth, I know I can't provide links, but can I give the name of the mat?
I like the idea of stamping the dots, then adding the die cut flowers! This is a great idea. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching!

That die with a length of circles MAY have come from a Simon Says Stamp monthly card kit circa 2016? I have a similar one, from that “era!”
