  • Hello, welcome to my channel! I hope you enjoy these traditional, mouth watering recipes that have been refined over generations. I hope you all enjoy my content and please give this video a thumbs up and subscribe!
    Ingredients:
    Dry Ginger
    2 inch piece
    Or ginger powder
    1 tsp.
    Turmeric Powder
    1 tsp.
    Curry leaves
    10-12
    Can be fresh or dried
    Black Mustard Seeds
    1 tsp.
    Black Pepper
    1 tsp.
    Fenugreek Seeds
    1/2 tsp.
    Cumin Seeds
    1 tsp.
    Coriander Seeds
    1 1/2 tbs.
    Cloves
    6-8
    Green Cardamom
    4
    Cinnamon
    2 inch piece
    Bay leaves
    2
    Thai Chillies
    3 or to taste
    California chillies
    For color
    2

    What kind of bay leaves? Indian or Mediterranean?or California bay?

      I never knew there were so many kinds of bay leaves . I have a large bottle of 60 grams dried bay leaves , I checked it , but it does not tell me the origin . It does tell me where they were packed .

    Do you have to roast them n grind them.Can those seeds be replaced with powdered.

      If you are using whole spices , it is better to dry roast them as it gets rid of any moisture. You can replace any of the whole spices with ground ones . Ground spices and seeds do not have to be roasted .🤗

    If we don’t have Thai chilly and California chilly than what we use

      You can use any chilli powder that is available. Thai chillies are very hot 🥵 they are also known as bird’s eye chilli. California chillies are not that hot. I hope this explaination is helpful.

      @@khalajanskitchen7456I have Thai chili that are frozen whole because it’s hard to find where I live. How can I use them for this recipe? Thanks

      @@shakilsteven7878 When you are making a dish with the powder masala , you can thaw the chillies and make a paste and add to your dish while cooking . Hope this is helpful .
