@@Ayeitsdariyn420 Whats with the obsession with everything having to be manual? The whole mustang lineup is not a performance car in the grand scheme of things
I’m looking to do the same thing to my mustang as well. What all did you do to this. Did you just take the mufflers off and add a fat back. Or did you replace the whole exhaust system
The air flow change from removing the muffler is minuscule and is easily compensated for by the stock air/fuel system on most modern car so there are actually no negative effects on the car from removing the muffler. If anything it is actually beneficial as it allows air to be moved through the system faster allowing for more fuel which in turn means slightly more power. It is also reduces weight on the car. Which is why performance cars generally have more light weight free flowing exhaust systems or no mufflers/cats at all.
Thanks for your service dude!!
Sounds like the attack planes that were used in World War ll. I have a 3.7 Roush Rs
Magna Flows installed, sounds better now
it's not straight piped if ur cats are still on there. it's a muffler delete
Would straight piping affect smog checks?
Only if you remove the cat. This is just a catback straight pipe.
Get some long tubes and then straight pipe
I sold it several month ago. I personally wouldn't have put that much money into a V6 Mustang. To each their own though.
just deleted mufflers? your cats and reso are still in place?
Right.
Then it’s not straight piped and automatics are shit

So is it a muffler delete or straight pipe?
This is a muffler delete. The mufflers were replaced with straight pipe. The cats were still in place.
