This is BY FAR the best review I've seen for anything, EVER. Well done. Your review was super quick, very thorough, and covered much of the info shoppers are searching for! Thank you!
Make sure to grease the bearings in the turbo for the brush !! They eventually fail due to rusting or breaking and the part isint ready available!!! I've replaced 2 on mine
Thanks.. Can you please advise on how do we grease the bearings? Also, does your hose attached push in all the way or does it suppose to have a speck of the white tab showing?? Thanks in advance for your time & assistance..
So to grease the bearings you will have to take the top housing off to get to the brush motor it's about 11 screws . Then take the brush motor off and open it up. Relatively easy inside.is the bearings cover them In waterproof grease to keep them from seizing up and reassemble the motor install and put the housing back together . As far as the hose yes mine always shows a little white speck hope this helps !!!!
Yes its a pain in the ass but you will have a spin scrub that lasts forever! Do not use WD-40, you need that thicker type grease I'm not sure if it's like graphite or what kind but definitely don't use WD-40 smear that grease all over the white gears and all over the metal parts and it will keep it working for so so much longer and keep the metal from rusting.
@@Vcafr0 when I tried to get a new turbine I couldn't find the part and there site didn't carry it either. I ended up getting a used one at a vaccum repair shop by my house
Thanks for the tip, took me ages to get mine to work as I was given it. I'm decorating my apartment from top to bottom. And needed to get my xmas tree up. So happy days!!
So if you want to rinse you fill the top tank with just water i suppose, then make another pass. I like very much that the brush comes off so rasy for cleaning but i think the switching back and forth from soap to rinse water ismore important. The bissel pro heat does this. Soap attracts dirt so i like to rinse as well. I do have to refill the tank alot but im used to it. Great review! Simple a quick. Thank you!
This review has convinced me I need to get one of these immediately!... Our little ronnie sheds so much that it almost seems impossible to clean and of course Mr Whiskers is not innocent either..... Thanks Miles Reviews you Earned my subscribe
Just got one of these and even though you explained it so well and so simply (great job) I still told my wife would read all about it and then assemble and try it like 3 hrs ago...not proud. Just sayin.
Let bearings behind the roller brushes dry completely after use by laying it on its backside so as the bottom can air dry out or you will have major problems later I keep it in this position near a window for at least a week after use.
I just bought one and I would say I just wish they had continued with the older discontinued design of having the hose attached to the unit and pulled out like a Dyson upright vacuum when you need to use it as opposed to a detached individual unit.
@@willb1157Well seeing as how i searched for this particular model which is a new model that does have a solution tank. I’m referring to this one not older models
@@SooMajor I've just bought the Xl in Australia and there is no separate solution tank. The videos I've seen have the solution tank on the deluxe model.
This machine's ability to suck the water back up and make the carpet dry fast is unbelievable. However, it has little sucky brushes! I don't see them lasting long, and they aren't real cheap to replace. The unit itself (tank wise) is cheap plastic. However, almost everything is cheap plastic these days. If Hoover would have used/made better brushes for it, then it would be superb. It's not much more than the portable hand held spot cleaner Hoover. Therefore, I would definitely recommend this before that one.
When pushing the button down is it normal for the water to get into the lower compartment? When the button is push down to clean ?? Also is it normal for the brushes to keep spinning even when u are picking up the dirty water from carpet??
First question: Yes, the unit is spraying water/ cleaning solution out while the vacuum is working at the same time, so some is going to get sucked up immediately, especially if moving slowly. But there is still more than enough left behind to saturate the carpet. Second question: Yes, the brushes spin as long as you have the handle tilted back, whether you have the trigger depressed or not. They stop spinning only when it's completely upright.
Why doesn't the diety water tank doesn't gets any water from the clean water. It's like the clean water is stuck, not allowing the bottom tank to receive the dirty water?
I just put mine together and I cannot figure out how to prime my hose.. I followed the instructions on the tag but it didn't work, no water is coming out.
Sorry for the late reply! The hose likely needs to be "primed". We had the same issue, the fluid is not traveling down your hose. My girlfriend fixed it so i'm not exactly sure what she did... Different model, but this video may help: ua-cam.com/video/hDMQA1HO-wo/v-deo.html
I have the same issue. My solution will not dispense. It worked fine when I first got it. Have only used it a couple of times. When using the attachment, solution dispenses. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Yes. Remove the solution tank at the back. Then in the solution tank holder, you'll see a small hole that aligns with the handle. Youll need to press in that small hole with something sturdy, while lifting up on the handle. Essentially you are pressing the release button on the handle itself.
As someone that has had experience with the HOOVER carpet cleaner line up, in all honesty, do your homework before buying ANY carpet cleaner. I am not going to suggest any brand or model to buy.....the one NOT to buy: HOOVER. They are not durable.
I just brought on of these Hoover models from one of our major appliances store in Australia. CASH buy brought the price way down 👏 Anyway I put this appliance together and off we go. I only did 1 large rug in my family room, and felt so sick with the colour of the dirty water 😵 I vacuum daily anyway, however the Hoover Power scrub XL is a power horse carpet shampooer. A question as I have some Bissell cleaning products, ( Pre-wash spray, Pet shampooer and Oxy booster), can I use these in my new Hoover? Thank you
yes you can use any brand in any carpet shampoo machine, ignore their claims, they just want you to buy their own brand. The best one in Australia is Peerless Jal Steamy Carpet Extraction Shampoo, from Bunnings

I just bought and used mine this morning. I like it! Easy to assemble. Paid 128.00 for it
Where? $149 at Wally World
In uk it’s nearly 200 pound
Gracias por tu ayuda muy bien explicado apenas compre mi Hoover espero todo salga bien

It sucks so don't. I bought one and it barely shoots wated. Even check the reviews on the youtube hoover site. Many disappointed people.

Thanks for the video. Quick question regarding the brushes. When do the brushes spin? How fast do they spin? Thanks
Very helpful, thank you ❤
Awesome!!!! Thanks for the tip. Very informative.
I picked mines up today and just put it together, thanks for your video and demonstration.
Nice and easy to understand, thank you so much!!!!
Thank you brotha 🫡
Best vid bro, thank you. Just got one today

IT MAKES THE UNIT LIGHTER TO USE FOR OLDER PEOPLE
How long does the carpet take to dry and how does this compare to the bissel big green?
The vacuum sucks up a lot of the moisture on the followup passes, I'd say its dry within 1 to 2 hours. I don't have experience with Bissel.
Thank you! Great demo!
thank you so much; i bought one a while ago but have been too intimidated to use it 😜
Thank you! This was the only helpful guide. Couldn't find any help on Hoover.
So you don’t use the solution tank but instead add the cleaning solution to the water?
I think there are older and newer models, mine does not have a solution tank either. And no place for it to go. 🤷♂️

IT DEPENDS HOW MUCH RUG YOU HAVE TO CLEAN,
I agree, it’s really a cheap plastic cleaner

Hi. Can Folex be used as the cleaning soloution in the tank?
When does water release?
thank you 😭
What about the noise level ?
Will this work on a shag rug?
How did you remove the plastic nosel thingy :(
Mine just popped right off. I was nervous to do it at first, but I pulled up from the bottom, the wide part.
How, when and why to use Quick Clean and Deep Clean ??
Why vaccum at the end?
How could u clean a very soiled mattress?
Why doesn't the diety water tank doesn't gets any water from the clean water. It's like the clean water is stuck, not allowing the bottom tank to receive the dirty water?
Can I use a little bit of dawn soap for solution?
I cannot get the water/solution canister bucket on properly. It leaked all over the floor
Can this be use like a
vacuum as well?
No, I don't think it would perform well.
Nice

How much does it cost??
$252 USD on Amazon Currently.
170.00
I paid 168.00 at Walmart on Jan 4 2024.

tf, other review has a separate tank for the cleaning solution and separate for water.
