Nice job. Since your model does not have a switch for rinse...I suggest using plain clean water after you are done with the shampooing of the carpet. A clean water rinse will remove any remaining soap which will help keep the carpets cleaner longer. Soap residue can attract dirt and leave the carpet with a rough feel.
If you pre spay the carpet before putting the vacuum down the carpet will come out cleaner rather than having to pass the machine multiple times. Awesome video!
I bought a Hoover and done our floors they look good as new, it just takes time to pass a few times and go slow when vacuuming the water up, but we love it.
Atta girl ! Thank you for I had one of these and I forgot I even had it then I moved and then yada yada yada point is now I need to know how to run it and I'm glad that I found your video so thank you
I just bought this very same machine from Walmart for $128.00. I can’t believe how good it works and it’s so much better than the more expensive Bissell that it replaced! Sorry about the loss of your dog.
I just bought mine yesterday at the same price lol the pictures on the website with the wash/rinse option was for the deluxe version which i initially wanted but I like putting all my cleaner in one tank instead of the machine mixing it so this worked better. I can't wait to do my floors and see the difference in this one vs the other Hoover powerpath I've had for a few years
@@mrsmincey9731 , I think the ones with the less “bells and whistles” last longer and simplify things. Less things to break and go wrong. Enjoy your new Hoover!
@@charger19691 I have the same one and I had searched online everywhere through all these videos to find on this apparently standard one that I just got. My Bissell died after about 10 years so I decided to try this. I have not yet used it . Wish I could find something that told you how to use it on furniture.
If you own a Hoover Power Scrub FH50135 and are trying to remove the brush, do not yank it out. There are black clips deep inside. I used a flathead screwdriver and pushed them out on both sides. Yanking it out may ruin the plastic grooves.

I have a bissel and love it. Though the solution sucks. I ordered the Hoover solution through Walmart to see if that works better then the bissels solution.
I just got this today I'm gonna put it together now . It was 118 dollars on Walmart website . I had a Bissell that quit working I'm excited to clean my carpets with this . I was going to rent one but I've heard horror stories about ppl renting the rug doctor and bringing home bed bugs . I do my carpets every month so it would have gotten expensive to rent one . I love the smell of a fresh clean carpet .
I got the same one and I’m having trouble with it picking up the dirty water. Mine doesn’t have a knob that turns from rinse to wash on it either. I don’t know if that’s why I’m having trouble or not. It just seems like my dirty water should be more full. For me to get water out of it I’ve to push the water release button the whole time. Do you’ve any suggestions and I’m sure I’m probably the problem. Ha!
@@pamelacupelli3326 mine doesn't have a knob either I used mine after I put it together and I went over my floor like 3 times to suck the water up my floor like I would run a vacuum over it was still damp but it's dry this morning it did a good job but I'm gonna do it again this weekend when my husband is home so he can watch our little one he drives truck over the road so it was kind of hard doing the rug and running the scrubber at the same time I will let you know how it goes this weekend
Press the button and move it forward to let water out & wash carpet... Then Just go back with the machine (not pressing anything) to suck up the dirty water.
@@GloriasVlogLife thank you for the info I did that and it was pretty much dry . I'm gonna do the rugs again in a week or so . I hate a dirty carpet . I hate a dirty house period and if my carpet is dirty it makes my whole house seen dirty lol I hope you have a amazing day.

Ive been staring at videos trying to see how much solution to put in the tank! The guide just says put solution right in with it but not how much! I'm used to the ones that have the dial and separate compartments. Did you rinse with just water as well?
I can't get the water to flow on mine. I push the button but nothing happens. It seems simple but mine won't work. Is there something extra that you do? Thanks 👍
Fill the water to the line completely but on the back of the solution it should tell u how much. Otherwise u can just do one or two of the caps full like I did. Hope that helps!
I put thi thing together and when I tried to use it, nothing happens. The solution didn’t flow through the machine at all. What can I do to get it to work?
Hmm not sure I understand your question. You fill the canister with part water and part cleaning solution, connect it back onto the vacuum and plug into your outlet. The button on top (where u hold it) is to release the solution. Pull it back without pressing the button and that will dry it. Repeat as needed !
My water isn’t coming out I set up everything is it broke? Or maybe I didn’t do something right? I haven’t used it in a while. It’s the same kind like the one in video
I'm sorry to hear that. You should just be able to press the trigger on the top and water will come out. If it doesn't then maybe take it back and trade it in for another

Yes u rinse with just water. And the cap should have a mark for either 1 cup or two. Similar to laundry detergent. That's how much solution to put in
Finally a good video on this topic

After scrub, do these machines also provide drying, i mean can we dry our carpet using this?
No. This particular machine helps pick up as much water as possible but then u will need to leave it overnight to dry
I appreciate the video! I have this same exact one and wasnt sure about how much solution to use🤦♂️
Anytime! I'm so glad it was helpful for you
How much solution did you use each time? Did you push the button on the handle forward and not push it when you pulled back?
I used two cap fulls and I pushed the button both times. Forward is to release solution/water. Back is to pick up the water
I can't get the water to flow on mine. I push the button but nothing happens. It seems simple but mine won't work. Is there something extra that you do? Thanks 👍
No sorry nothing extra
I recently got this machine on Amazon but it has separate water and solution tank which is great and comes with a turbine attachment
Awesome!
So do we pour the solution in with the water?? And If so how much?
Fill the water to the line completely but on the back of the solution it should tell u how much. Otherwise u can just do one or two of the caps full like I did. Hope that helps!
So you had to spray the soap down, then the water, then suck it all up? Six passes total?
The water and soap spray together. The passes is what helped me with my carpet because it was so bad. But 3 to 4 passes works perfect 😊
Do you squeeze the handle to get the water out and let go to suck up ORRRRR
Squeeze to get the water/solution out. Let go and move it backwards to dry & suction up the dirty water
@@GloriasVlogLife thank you! Lol
I put thi thing together and when I tried to use it, nothing happens. The solution didn’t flow through the machine at all. What can I do to get it to work?
It could be a malfunction of the machine because it should work right away. I'd take it back if I were you.
There is only one tank, so are you supposed to mix the water and solution together? I just filled it with all solution
Yes your supposed to mix it together
Look on the solutions instructions and it should tell you how much water/solution to put in
@@GloriasVlogLife thank you. I think l’ll take it back, because all it does is make noise with no fluid flowing at all
How much solution and water did you use ?
I used two cap fills of solution and fill the water to the line on the canister
Do you have to squeeze the trigger when in the rinse mode?
To push out water yes. But when its picking it up you just reverse the Hoover
Thank you very much, very helpful:)
Your absolutely welcome. Anytime!!
How did u make it work im struggling with that right now

It could be defective. Did it work when u used it before? Otherwise I'm not too sure
How much clean water does it hold?
Sorry for the delay hun, But it holds about 120oz
It would have helped if you showed how to dump the water so u basically showed how to fill but not Empty
You dump it in the toilet. I mentioned that. Thanks
The toilet of course. You don’t want to pour it down your sink and have problems with it clogging.
what am i doing wrong the water not seeming to come out thanks
I'm sorry to hear that. You should just be able to press the trigger on the top and water will come out. If it doesn't then maybe take it back and trade it in for another
Good job!
Thanks
how much solution do you put ?
There is a line/ring on the cap. Fill it to there. Otherwise ur solution should have instructions on how much water/solution to use
How long did it take to dry
One day for half of my living room
seems hard to push ttoo
