Barry McGuire's version of this song and his harmonica solo a complete disaster, but thanks to Barry this song became an instant success.

The only time her mic was fucked up was at the Monterey Festival which is sadly their only recorded live concert and by all of their admission, their worst. Do yourself a favour and explore the band's later material if you really want to appreciate her voice and what a hugely important contribution it was to the group.
