I've used this build and it is an absolute monster. The best thing about it is you can level easily by following the skill tree exactly, as well as getting 4L pieces and using the first 4 gems hes suggested in each piece until you reach endgame. Even with only 4L pieces it still rips everything up without any problems. Great build and a blast for bow lovers. The biggest problem I ran into was the mana. However that is easily fixed with a couple of - mana Elron rings.
As a new Player to the game bout 5 days in this is awesome. Thanks for the time and effort and by far the best delivery I have seen :)

Hello Guys, I've promised Five 3.0 Starter Builds before the Update, here's the first one. Just to make things clear, The gameplay of this build was recorded on the 2.6 but the whole structure of the build was made on the 3.0 model.

Playing this on xbox. I'm new to the game so still learning. Just managed to finish campaign and trying to deal with maps, seem not so easy as I thought but will be nice later on.

I do. Playing on XBOX. This is my first character and really enjoying it so far. It was pretty easy until the endgame. Now I really need to concentrate on properly gearing up. The prices are crazy and I can't even handle T2 maps. Need to farm on T1 until I will have my resistances capped and have my belly / KotF and have these socketed.
I had to stop using hatred at the moment because of mana issues. But overall, I'm satisfied how the build turned out. Cheers! :)

Picking up +1 chain or 100% pierce would greatly increase your clear speed. As in literally 1 shot the pack as opposed to having to attack multiple times.
you cant do atziri with chain and barrage, pierce is okay tho
since when you're not allowed to swap gems ?
switching out supports isn't hard
Sure you can, you just need to attack the "Split Atziri" that is opposite to the "Mirror Atziri"
Cara ficou muito bom esse novo sistema do video, fiz essa build no legacy e curti apesar de n ter terminado ela pois alguns itens como o arco é muito caro, mas no geral gostei bastante dela, provavelmente vou fazer ela novamente na 3.0

Playing PoE for the first time and following this build exactly. Im level 53 and just bought a Death's Harp bow and im rockin can basically one to three shot everything except bosses.
So, I have A death's opus, and I'm thinking about going: TS, PPAD, FA, PTL (Physical to lighting), WED. (don't have 6 link yet). Also, im going to buy a Signal Fire Quiver, it' really good.Thanks for the build my friend!

Mano, seus videos melhoram a cada semana q passa.. Mas eu gostaria de ver mais builds baratas nos inicios de season.. Essa em si não é tão cara.. mas a quantidade de unique como opção é bem grande.. Uma belly em inicio de season vc sabe q é um preço bem absurdo.. Então se puder fazer umas builds mais iniciantes seria dahora.. msm q seja um totem pra full farm, tenta ver qual build ta mais facil de fazer no inicio da season e mais forte pra isso. No meu caso ajudaria bastante.. vlw :D

I'm recently using exactly this build and playing it at Level 90.
I have to say Tornado Shot is great but I'm really lacking single target damage - Barrage does less damage then Tornado Shot, even though it's 5-linked with exactly your recommended Gem-Setup.
Could it be that the "Physical to lightning" Gem doesn't as much damage anymore because off the recent patchnotes?
I'm really having trouble getting bosses down and would be very thankful if you got a little hint for me here :)

Nice build mate,new to the game and was wondering the use of split arrow in the the build after you get tornado shot and the best use of flasks
wayne meek i was confused at first too bud. you want assasins marked and curse on hit all linked to split arrow. as well as chain. that way you start with a split shot to mark EVERYTHING real quick as well as do some damage. then follow it with tornado shots for the KOs
but those items ? how do u get them? I-m lvl 60+ and did not found ONE unique item on my archer :(
Hi I'm new to the game with Xbox, playing a ranger for my first character and I'm on Act 6. I'm trying out some of these gems that you recommend in the build. However, I'm not anywhere near the strength or intellect required for even level 1 on some of these gems and I don't see anywhere on the gear on your site where you are picking up the attributes to equip them. I see the Onyx amulet, but that won't be enough to get me where I need to be. Thanks for the help.

I'm lvl 41 now following this build but the thing that always gets me is the elemental damage. I drop like a fly when i face a lvl 35+ horde of fireball throwing mobs or a certain boss throwing elemental stuff at me.

hey, great build by the way! just one quick question, i'm using the Death Opus (+2 to Projectiles) and using the same setup as stated in video for that type of bow, but on your video your getting +5 Projectiles total and on mine i'm only getting +3 total. Did they change how it works since you done this build or am i missing something?

Back again. Lvl 82 on XBOX. Have the helm/gloves/ring/opus6s6l/queen6s5l so kind of broke right now. All I need is one more flask, a ring, a nice boots and some good jewels. Seems I hit a wall. I don't know what to farm, stock with t6 racecourse rares in hope of some good drop or do t7 magics. May I have some advice what rings/boots you recommend to look for to max my resistances? I can't see anything on your link of exact gear. Cheers again!

Always having mana problems with tornado shot.. What helps with this? Nice video btw. I assume the curse is what I'm missing. Right now I can only fire tornado shot like 4 times, and run out of mana.
Also, no gmp? why?
very cool build, trying to build it myself right now :) this might be a stupid question, but how do you activate grace? cause you clearly have both hatred and grace activated, yet only hatred is on your skill bar
You can hide skills on your skill bar, grace is hidden :)

Im a huge fan of the Ranger in PoE but have heard in chat and elsewhere that Ranger (bow) build isn't the most (or even close) viable for 3.0. Thoughts? I love my Ranger class but if he's not gonna cut it late game be waste of time. Since I havent messed around with other classes much idk if theres a more viable class for the new 3.0 poe. Thanks!

Opus and reach are good bows but you cannot even compare to a decent harbinger bow. Really easy to craft your own @ 350-400 dps, higher crit and as for alotta time much cheaper than the unique variants

Hey bro, Vaal Grace is not to be casted by Cast When Damage Taken, it's only there to be supported by Increased Duration. Vaal Grace needs to be Self Casted When you face Bosses :)

hey! awsome build! but I've got a question. why not use hatred and herald of ice or fire? the dps should be higher, shouldn't it? and since you use this combination you don't longer need the mondatory unique ring. and you can use the other one which gives you bonuses.

Immortals call consumes endurance charges. As far as i know this build doesnt generate those kinds of charges? is there something else we could run in glove slot to increase damage or surv? Other than that great guide, and thanks
Endurance charges are not mandatory for Immortal Call to work.

This build is interesting, but when I reached Ascendancy I was shocked. Why did you go for Far Shot and Endless Munitions instead of Ricochet? I'm interested to hear your thoughts on this.
Funny that since this video was made, Reach of the Council is like 2+ chaos and Death's Opus is 45+ chaos. Meta will be meta I guess...lol. And Taste of Hate flask is about 250 chaos...zoiks.

I can't understand how can you have this amount of hp with the little hp node you took, my char is lvl 90 and has 4800 hp with your tree and belly... I am sure you have a kaom's heart !

At 05:00 you say to use LMP rather than GMP when GMP offers another two additional projectiles. Could you explain why?
I understand why we keep CWDT at level 1 as the proc is at a smaller amount of damage take but i dont understand why we keep Immortal Call at level two. Could you also explain this please?
