Appreciate all the work you've done on this video and the coverage you've given Dead Monarchy. I've made a Steam announcement post, looking forward to the next playthrough video!
It’s definitely bare bones and repetitive, but there’s still plenty of content and grinding to do to actually beat the game. As a solo developer, you’ll generally not have a ton of time to work on a project such as this because you’ll be working on it in your free time after work. Being an indie developer is more of a hobby, and not a career. Either he could get help with the promise of sharing profits, or he’d have to pay someone out of pocket for that. Both options aren’t really feasible as most help wouldn’t opt for the first option. That being said if it’s not for you it’s not for you.
@@clydian There are always programmers willing to help. Look at all the open source projects. If he is serious about his game, he should definitely seek out interns. If it's about accomplishing it by yourself, the updates most likely won't come out fast enough. It's an interesting game, a lot like Battle Bros, but perhaps the realism of it gives it a boring repetitive feel. The combat is obviously the major part and it just simply sucks right now. I have over 1700 games and despite this being $4 it is absolutely exhausting seeing these solo projects never finish or simply just end. What do you develop in? I program in C++ and finishing up an OpenGL engine based off 'The Cherno's Engine Hazel' but strictly 2D because unless you have bank for models, 3D simply looks like shit.

It’s pretty fun, not going to lie!
Good video
Thanks mate!
The game is too bare bone to purchase right now. If this took him 6 years, I suggest he try to get some help.

What is up with the cringe expressions? Just talk like a normal person.
Are you referencing the thumbnail? Or simply my face? 😅
