Buddhist Shangri-La with 117 Temples & No McDonald's or Starbucks | Koyasan 🇯🇵

I almost took Koyasan off of our itinerary because it's a bit out of the way and there are NO cheap places to stay there. But I'm glad we went because Koyasan was one of my favorite places in Japan. I hope it remains as unspoiled as it was when we visited in June 2024.
