If that's what it means to you, then that's what it is for you.
Andy Appleton Simplistic? no... and by the way the song has a down beat nature to it because its trying to get across the fact that we are only hurting ourselves by being so uneducated on what is out there, and how we are destroying our planet. To be honest, if I put all the things that the song is trying to say and get across, then I would be writing for a very long time... Also, just to let you know, less than 2% worlds population even know even out there in the universe

Watched them yesterday in Athens, the start of their tour. This was their first song ever, the start of everything. Thank you Coldplay for your kindness and blessing us with this music
its the opposite. Their current music doesnt hold up to this. Their quality of music went down after the viva la vida thing. Then they became some kind of mainstream pop bs.
This song is high among my favorite tracks of all-time. Gentle, intimate, mysterious. I understand Coldplay don't make this kind of music anymore, but I wish there's a new band that makes music this intimate, gentle, and mysterious. I'm craving for this kind of music!
My uncle lives near Tampa, so I texted him asking if he’ll evacuate for hurricane Milton. He said him and his family weren’t going to, so I expressed my concern for him… He sent me this video and told me they’ll be ok. I trust you Uncle Frank, thanks for making feel a little better about this Coldplay.
Parachutes is and will always be their best album no doubt about it. The feeling each song gives me is just an experience i wish I could relive for the first time again.
In The part of “oh, all that I know...” I always get sad because I know the song is ending. In all the other parts of the song, it’s as if time doesn’t even pass.
let’s not forget this is one of the best albums ever made.

Es hermosa y dura muy poquito 😢
Parachutes was probably one of the most beautiful albums ever written these past 20 years.
We live in a beautiful world because Coldplay exist :)
This is my fave Coldplay song.
still love this song today ☺
Can’t believe this was one of their earlier songs (1999) and it still holds up with their current music. Underrated song
Coldplay is timeless, can be fit in 4005 as well.
First Coldplay song many people heard. Opener on their first album.
its the opposite. Their current music doesnt hold up to this. Their quality of music went down after the viva la vida thing. Then they became some kind of mainstream pop bs.
@zac_os
You're not a real fan!
Sorry not Sorry!
This song is high among my favorite tracks of all-time. Gentle, intimate, mysterious. I understand Coldplay don't make this kind of music anymore, but I wish there's a new band that makes music this intimate, gentle, and mysterious. I'm craving for this kind of music!
I want it too, but you have to agree that it would be much better with Chris' voice...
Try some Bastille. Not their overplayed Pompeii, but their other songs. Some have those qualities.
***** I will, thanks!
You should try My Morning Jacket.
check out David Gray Babylon Sail Away
My uncle lives near Tampa, so I texted him asking if he’ll evacuate for hurricane Milton. He said him and his family weren’t going to, so I expressed my concern for him… He sent me this video and told me they’ll be ok. I trust you Uncle Frank, thanks for making feel a little better about this Coldplay.
Best song on Parachutes!
Spies is a really good song too.
God put a smile in your face best
Daniel García Torres that’s from a rush of blood to the head
Sparks and Yellow too.
Everything's Not Lost is also good.
They played this last night in Buenos Aires (2022)... brilliant!
Who else was brought here because they love coldplay??
garden state
yep simply because of that. 👍🤝🥂 much love.
I actually found this after searching for coldplays other song trouble
Perhaps the Best 2 Min 44 second song in history! It could have been longer
"We Live In A Beautiful World,Yeah We Do "!Great Guitarsolo !!LOVE
The. Most. Underrated. Coldplay. Song. Ever.

King Eddy same dude. Had to see coldplay's version.
Have to admit i prefer apocalypse's version tho
Here because park jisung of nct recommended it, and it’s amazing. What a hidden treasure😭
Ahh that piano part is so nostalgically imaginative! 😌 It’s like I’m moving through space and time.
It’s insane how ahead of its time this album was.
This song has something very special to it. It's like someone describes a feeling and you can instantly feel it
The first album I have ever bought in my life.
Forgot all about this song, heard it yesterday and I looked it up. I literally listened to it about 20 times yesterday back to back to back.
Parachutes is and will always be their best album no doubt about it. The feeling each song gives me is just an experience i wish I could relive for the first time again.
Thank you, Coldplay, for being there during these hard times.
12 years later...still bursting into tears for this song...❤authentic
Commenting on a random Coldplay song until I visit my homeland. Day 23/23. I'm coming back home today! Thanks Coldplay for making my waiting easier 🧸
Best Coldplay song ever
Man this shits so chilling.. I love coldplay
I was having a panic attack, so I searched up on google songs to help with panic attacks and this is what came up, and i feel better! so, thank you!
Creo que esta es la canción más infravalorada de Coldplay 😭😭😭😭
❤
thank you for this song, it calms me down immediately 🫶🏼
In The part of “oh, all that I know...” I always get sad because I know the song is ending. In all the other parts of the song, it’s as if time doesn’t even pass.
Coldplay más de 20 años y está canción Demi juventud aún sigue presente vivimos en un mundo hermoso
suuuuper weird.
i ve got an incredible feeling of intimacy from this song. ❤
Mee too...
