Throw on the 200psi pressure switch and add a regulator to reduce pressure going to the horn that way you can have more volume in the tank for when you need it.

Hey Eddie. I don’t know how your existing air tank mounts but if you want bigger. Look into air tanks for semi trucks and trailers. Many configurations with mounts and port locations. They can get pretty large as well.

A viair 480 or viair 444 is your best compressor and go with a dual 480 pack it will fill faster

Love the videos. Any recommendations for 2018 dodge 3500 single wheel drive. Already added on board air per your recommendations but looking to add some more options. Also I have short bed and sliding hitch and was trying to find a fuel station tool box like you have but the space doesn’t seem to be there. Any ideas on who makes super slim low profile ones. If you call RDS they can make you a custom tank for you not sure on the price but RDS has a lot of options for diesels

If your tyres are too hard in the dessert you more liable to stick in the stand or u more liable to stick period. It helps alot . Guys that stuck in the sand or mud had to deflate their tyres a bit . What tyre pressure your tyres are when u are in the dessert Eddie?
i just keep them at 70PSI in the trailer because we park in the hard pack not soft sand

Hey Eddie, great video, I have a new 33ft Jayco camper with the Goodyear 80psi trailer tires, but have always been told for my boat and my camper that trailer tires are designed to be ran at max PSI, interesting you run yours at 70. I'm more interested in knowing about your lift or level kit choices as I have a 2016 2500HD Duramax crew cab standard box. What is your set up for lift or leveling kit, air bags in back etc? And what size tires are you running? I am trying to figure out best option to get slightly bigger tires without going crazy, love the stance and look of your dirtymax, tires don't stick out crazy to the side, not a fan of that look. I also want my truck to sit as level as possible when pulling 11-12K lbs camping, so I am sure air bags are best option for that.
Appreciate your help/feedback on this when you have time.
i am going to make a video on what my truck has on it and i never like running the tires at full max i always run them 10pounds lower because when i get to my destination they always expand 5 pounds more
@@EddieLife3500 cool, that makes sense especially given a hot climate where you live. I'll be looking for that video, I'll most likely be doing leveling kit up front and bags in back for when it is under load with camper, but will sit level empty. I am not looking to run 35's or anything to kill mileage.
Fwiw tire pressure ratings are supposed to be max filled when cold. The ratings account for thermal expansion of air.
Very convenient set up, soon everything will be battery powered. Question on a previous vid, regarding the high idle switch, I tried the steps you showed on my 16 Sierra Denali 2500hd but it didn’t work. Not sure if mine is equipped with it😪

That compressor is cute. In the offroad world we use ARB twin, it's 100% duty cycle and makes over 6cfm. It's also about the same physical size as your existing oba compressor.

This compressor is 3 years old and has never given me a problem if it goes out then i will upgrade but no need to right know
The arb compressor is cute. In the commercial world we use vmac units. Much better product then arb
