Smells like an $80,000 Arts Degree
Total crap! That kind of abstract art sounds like fresh bag of garbage
@@Urbina-nq5qs Exactly. So if someone takes a dump on their snare drum it's "art" and we're not allowed to criticize it? Sorry, you go public with this, you're fair game. Welcome to the real world.
I think he was influenced by BUCKET OF PISS. Seriously Sam look it up.
I think that kind of performance tries to get beyond the borders of accepted aesthetics in art. Don't know if im right or do understand it.
I mean if Yoko Ono screaming is called perfomance art, this is the absolute new golden standard for drumming perfomance art 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m gonna totally support this statement. None of it makes any sense. I don’t particularly like that, but it’s a free country and that includes being dumb lol
@@joshrepik exactly its not harming anyone and these people seem to enjoy whatever it is he seems to be doing. lol
Yoko's "musical art" is about as low standard as one could get.
The youngons aint goin to to know who Yoko is! Shows how old We are!
Equally as good.
I love the people nodding their heads as if there was some kind of beat
There are always 2-6 people who understand the artist and see a meaning in his work :)
Yeah, they were longing for a beat to follow. But no! That's not what drum performance art is about.
I probably grew abs in my stomach area from laughing so much while editing this one, no jokes.
lol what other area would you be growing abs 🤨
@@theconartistgaming LOL, Oh you knooow
@@theconartistgaming I grew some on my knee while watching. I'll be having them surgically removed next week.
Jesus... Hahaha
Such a classy way to remind us that you edit this, you are a djentleman
I know I've seen some shit before, but I never thought we'd come this far to see a guy having an absolute temper tantrum with his snare like that. Fuck it, I'mma keep watching just because.
It's called art... or something
It's silent poignant poetry jam night, man.
I can't believe I watched that long. But I sort of understand what he was going for.
I think.
I'm only taking 1 hit.
Me 3 hours later :
Someone needs to edit Yoko Ono screaming maniacally into this
Ayy lmaoo
noise rock be like
Nevermind...scrolled 600 meters and couldnt find the original video.
This is like a drummer's version of an abstract painting. As a filthy casual of both drumming and art I have no idea what's going on and yet I sit and watch anyway. Beautiful
The guy is completely unconcerned about what people think or how they might react. He is either very brave or very free. So he get my thumbs up.
This is the definition of creative frustration. This is a person who is called by the creative forces to express something but has nothing at all to say. He definitely captures his frustration.
During quarantine Lars improved with drums
Im thinking, lugs, with enough gap to fit 2B 's in between...... for quiet days :)
He looks like me after I've played raid: shadow legends too long lol. Good luck with the move brother 🤘

@@damf5488 the comment to the previous comment is also sponsored by Raid Shadow Legends
This is exactly what he described it as, pure and raw performance art and I was both amazed and amused all at the same time. Love it!!
If Yoko Ono's "abstract art" was put into the drums:
this is the kinda stuff my university loved to do, they were all about the avant-garde/experimental stuff like this, they even told us once "the worse you can play, the better". they were all along the lines of john zorn, karlheinz stockhausen, steve reichs, etc etc.
I would not put Steve Reich even in the same category as these other composers. I would barely call Reich avant-garde or post-modern in the way that Zorn, Philip Glass, and your university are.
@crymzynplague Same 😅
That’s the drummer from sept star sete. They’re sick. He’s actually a really good drummer.
And he’s also the current drummer for the legendary Fushitsusha!
More like performance art than music, IMO. The kind of weird, makes-no-sense-by-design crap that art house kids go crazy for.
Not my bag, but whatever puts food on the table, I guess.
you hit the nail on the head, performance art.
This is clearly the Yoko Ono of the drum world - Hell Ya
It's certainly unique
Lord I could only imagine the look of 'wtf' I'd have from my father if he ever saw me stooping down to this level of 'playing' drums.
4:33
Snare drum be like: "why must you hurt me in this way"
They say art is subjective I guess....if nonsense is art.
If this is art, Yoko Ono is Beethoven
This is the "modern art".
Totally art.
The audience is actually the funny thing, as they actual believe it's art.
Do not kink shame.
and it is because people get to do whatever the fuck they want. elitism isnt cool
you would not have the courage to say that in their face
Random, but you're probably the only UA-camr who's Raid Shadow Legends plug I dont skip through. The fact that you actually play and genuinely enjoy it makes it quite infectious
Hazaa!! The cable guy reference. A man of culture as well. Just started playing a few months ago with inspiration from you and El. Played guitar for 27 years. Trying something new.
The way he’s acting is my brain functioning on anxiety 24/7
Got to love Generalised Anxiety hey man....😂
Been confused by this guy for years, glad your finally reacting!
I don't think I could keep a straight face if I were in the room during the performance.
I wouldn't describe that as "drumming" tho. That's like more a performance art piece. The drum could be easily replaced with something else
O my life. That was absolutely fantastic. You my friend made tears run down my face. How can I thank you for cheering me up so much. O thanks mate I love your channel. It just brilliant. Love from the UK.
This just makes me feel better, my sloppy drumming isn't art but sounds better that this 😅
He has some great stick work though. Probably a good drummer actually
I've been to many hipster arthouse gigs and this is by far one of the best things that I seen from any of those gigs (although not having actually been there). More than two thumbs up!
The dude 2nd from the left is so into it. Also the editing was amazing on this one 😂🤘
And the way the even uses the table's leg's rubbing against the ground is creative.
This dude is quite unique.
"A pure expression of emotion" is what we call this.
Ive seen sete star sept live once in a bar. It was an awesome experience. Some of the people in the crowd joined in when he started throwing around his kit.
66samus your commentary is epic!, ducking sweet dude!
i fucking love how you can quote the cable guy... such an underrated classic...
Fascinating. I like his vibe.
OH YEER!!! Setting up the kit is first priority !!!!
Nice, congrats on the new house!
Reminds me of this one Japanese guy named hanatarash. The guy is famous for driving through a venue with a bulldozer
Man says what kind of drums you play.
He replies my drum plays the table ground and everything
Ryosuke Kiyasu, ex drummer on "The Endless Blockade"
New drummer for Mike Patton.
And 9:03 started Fight Fire With Fire.
I wish I could help moving out....oh yurrr
Looking forward for your next livestream...22🤘🤘
Well…it was definitely open to interpretation. I would say it represents frustration in all drummers from beginner to pro. Emotions from outside music and those ranges of emotion getting in there somehow during rehearsals. Lots and lots of internal conflict being externalized. Maybe frustration and anger at other musicians. “Why can’t we do it this way? Why am I being shut down for every idea I have?” It’s completely subjective. Fun to watch. So yeah! I have to agree it’s pretty awesome in its representation. All musicians go through this.
Just watching your videos gives me good vibes
The Cartman ref killed me 😆😆😆
Yep, definitely subscribed to this dude.
Good luck with the move, Samus.
Everyone is holding a beer, but non are drinking.. I would be BOTTOMS UP the whole show !!!
This is actually really creative and funny at the same time
It's the drummer from my favourite grind/noise band Sete Star Sept. I LOVE their more experimental side, but I'm having a hard time with this. I'm obviously more pretentious than you, oh yur.
I straight this he is trolling with this project, tbh. Noise music is always fun to see live though.
This guy should be in the rock and roll hall of fame. \m/
This made me think what GG Allin would’ve done had he been handed a snare drum. I recognize some of the drumming here from experimental jazz, he goes to an extreme. I respect the art form... not my cup of tea personally.
This is the most avant garde thing i have ever seen
That Cable Guy reference at 5:05 though! 🤘🏻
This dude got ahold of some of that good shit.
Aw-some!! Good luck moving guys!
Fully committed to making an ass out of himself. Respect.
4:43 lmao i died
Perfect! Downloading RAID: Shadow Bahee will help you feel better if you didn't like this guy's style!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ffs samus... you make my cry with laughter 🤣🤣🤣🤘🤘🤘 rock on dude
Congrats on getting the keys to the new kingdom ya big bahee. Many many awesome nights of drumming await.
you can see his jazz training really shining thru in this performance
Just looks like a power electronics performance without.. you know.. amplification, effects or any form of mic
Dudes a fucking legend
I love the Energy. 😂
5:05
Cable Guy reference what a legend 😆
EPPICC
This is the guy from Sete Star Sept. They are wild af.
Next level drumming noise core.
New gif of you bangin' your snare for your live streams needs to happen lol!
Wrat the fruck?!love it, im gonna go beat up my guitar. Take your time with the move, your real fans are patiently waiting.
In search of the cav-vh1 behind the music 😂😂
This is like the polar opposite of the poise and exactness you see with Gene Koshinski and his Quey duets
LMAO I feel like Ozzyman needs to see this video too! LOL
The Cable Guy lol. Nice
5:01 when you get a new snare 🤣
That rim job technique should be a new variant for blasting. Coming to think of it. Can you make a blast beat cover of this? 🤣
Good luck on the move, dude! Hope you are feeling better from the vaxx too 🤘
Your commentary is the best!!! Lmao dude
It has some really interesting things, is like using your imagination in a whole different level
why am i not surprised AT ALL that this comes from japan
That poor snare is being violated😆
What ever you think remember it's not a mistake if you can play it second time... I'm sure that he wouldn't be even close to repeating that
This guy reminds me of the band Ponytail. 8 heard them for the first time yesterday and it’s interesting. They could be the epitome of Art Rock.
How's the crowd not flinching!? lol 😂😆🤣 I would fear if he was gonna toss the drum at someone or the table with it
That’s me bro! I called this piece “taking the kids to the pool”!
Would love to hear him playing with Yoko Ono...
well, i don't have all the answers, but if he executed this as a art / music combo perfomance, he definetely nailed the part where i don't what the fuck is going to happen next.
i just feel sorry for that snare.
poor bastard.
Someone needs to get this guy the ST ANGER snare stat and watch him lose his mind!!!
art comes in manny ways
Now this is real drumming
Nice to see that im not as bad of a drummer as i thought i was.
As a professional mover i really hope you're move went well good sir.
Abstract art, whether it’s a shape on a red canvas or this demonstration of passion and love for an instrument , it connects to someone .
"Im mad I don't practice enough"! It looks like my fits when I cant get something right on the drum kit.
