Because we have a taxi road system here in baguio. They have only follow one route. There is no shortcut for you to pay less and there is no another long road for you to pay more. For example you are paying 50pesos per km. So if u hear the meter sound "ting" means automatically you are on the next kilometer road.
Baguio City is my second home. The City of solitude. I love seeing Oh my Gulay again on your vlog. Isn't majestic? You are right when you said there's no sign of such paradise on the 5th floor. 😅
Thank you for making Baguio your favorite city so far despite the not-so-good experience the other day. Baguio is many Filipino families' go-to place if we want to relax and escape the heat and humidity of Manila. It's kinda like a tradition for Filipinos to have the annual exodus to Baguio at least once per year.
You two are getting more and more recognition now and are becoming somewhat of celebrities already. You two handled that minor disappointment with the traffic enforcer with class. Keep the content coming!! I predict you'll get to 30K pretty soon. Tahooooo!!
I like your vlogs because your reactions are so genuine, even if it's a bad experience or a good, love watching videos that are not scripted and sugar-coated. keep up the good work fellas. cheers!
Because of your channel, I will definitely go back to the Philippines and visit. You make the food and places to visit look so much fun. We left the PI when i was only 5 so I didn't get the experiences that the two of you are enjoying. Looking forward to more of your Philippine travels!
Finally foreigners who appreciate taho ;) that's probably the most traditional and nostalgic snack. Glad u guys loved it! Plus bagiuo doesn't have a lot of jeeps because the streets are very random. Haha. So it's good to talk taxis. They're good. They follow the meter unlike in Manila
I'm more surprised 4:40 they arrived in around 50 mins. Traffic from Magsaysay to Km. 3 and 4 (Baguio to La Trinidad Strawberry farm route) really got worse nowadays. 25:20 Balili River is lot worse and more polluted downriver in central part of La Trinidad. The one you saw is just a small part of Balili River that needed to be saved especially when it had fishes and crabs way back. 32:10 that dog is really common in vloggers going in that part of Strobosa Edit: My mistake he said 15 mins. Also weekday noon so not much traffic I see. i thought they went during holy week.
Wow, its nice to see foreigners coming to Baguio, Hope you will enjoy exploring... watching from Saudi Arabia...I notice that your Video is full so I will watch it by parts 1 & 2.. hehehe busy today.
Re Stobosa: years ago those houses there were unpainted GI sheets and concrete. That place was an eyesore because it looked like an elevated slum area. Before the houses were built there, that hillside was dotted with thousands of sunflowers growing wildly and those were a much prettier sight. Years ago, a local artist suggested that those houses be painted colorfully like the Favelas in Brazil. The artist designed the pattern - it's supposed to be like a huge painting. And voila - a tourist attraction.
I Enjoy watching this Episode as I have not been there for years. I’ll visit those places you have been there in Baguio. Cheers guys! I’ll share your video 😊
Why I like your channel? Pretty easy, you are actually one of the guys that are starting to inspire me to try and move around the Philippines while I work remotely. I'll probably start visiting more places soon and was already thinking about getting a wireless keyboard for the same purpose, doing emails while on the road. Whether I win or not, I truly enjoy your channel! Hope you guys visit more places down south in the Philippines! Mabuhay guys!
'Gulay' is tagalog for vegetable. Yes, its menu is vegetarian. That resto is a frequent hangout for local artists as it's owned by a locally prominent artist.
This is your most interesting video so far... didn't expect you hawking taho and having fun at the same time. The way you and alina interacted with the locals is just fun to watch. You're definitely different from the other travel vloggers. More power to you and alina.
yooooo ive been watching your videos since you came here in the Philippines! I love how kind both of you are to our people and I love seeing my fellow Filipinos being welcoming. I love how your videos are educational also especially the thing you mentioned where some things exist in specific areas its because they all have reasons like the holes in stairs to prevent landslides bcoz Baguio is prone from it. Thankyou for having the interest to know our culture and history! We really appreciate and we're proud that you visit our country. Thankyou and please come back! ❤ Will watch all of your videos and hoping that ill finish it!!

wow! it’s my first time seeing different colors of crinkles. growing up here in the PH, specifically in manila, I only see the brown-colored one usually in the bakery. I didn’t even thought that there would be other colors. I wonder how they differ in taste. anyway, enjoy your stay here and keep safe! 🙂
Oh, I liked the keyboard ur using. So easy to bring with you and connect with your phone specially when sending an email. And you can use also when playing ? 😘😘😘
Waaah! Im so hooked in this channel. I’ve been binge watching! Justin and Alina, you guys remind me of my youngers years of exploring the world through traveling ❤️❤️❤️
I like your channel because I’m also traveling in the Philippines and a lot of the places you’ve gone to is where I’m going to! Thanks for the content.
Been following you since you had your haircut at the local barbershop at the outskirts of bgc. 😅 well, i like traveling. Foreigners traveling here in the Philippines is a nice thing to watch here on youtube.
I like your channel because of the genuine reviews of the places you've visited here in the PH and I also feel that I am with you when I am watching your videos.
lechon kawali is just deep fried pork (usually belly). some version boil the pork first before frying. crispy pata is pork leg, boiled until the fat and tendon melt, then dried before deep frying. bagnet is pork (usually belly), boiled, dried, deep fried, stored, and deep fried again before serving. that's the traditional way of cooking bagnet when refrigeration was not yet invented. cooking the pork first before storage will preserve the pork to last longer.
I really love you and your vlogs. You both try to embrace the culture of the places you visit and tried not to be so tourist and always blend with locals. I usually learn a thing or two from your vlogs, aside from that you try to be honest to your viewers! Best of luck to the rest of your trips. Hope to see you both soon and share experiences over coffee or dinner.

That Stobosa area was once full of sunflowers, unfortunately was wiped out due to soil erosion and landslide. It was in the 80s when people started to build there house there. The best place to live in baguio is in lucnab and outlook drive near mines view and camp john hay because it is not crowded amd have best view of mountains. The colorful houses arevtoo crowded.
Taxi drivers in Baguio is the most Honest and Kind here in the PH
unlike here at manila. mostly have a scam meter or magic on their taxi meter. so I prefer grab.
agree! Love how it goes by meters so there’s no misunderstanding :)
Because we have a taxi road system here in baguio. They have only follow one route. There is no shortcut for you to pay less and there is no another long road for you to pay more. Couldn't agree more! Definitely a great spot for a mini getaway 🔥
Your comment reeks of Manila-centrism and imperialism. Not all Filipinos live there lol
You two are getting more and more recognition now and are becoming somewhat of celebrities already. You two handled that minor disappointment with the traffic enforcer with class. Keep the content coming!! I predict you'll get to 30K pretty soon. Tahooooo!!
