Intimate scenes, again depends on the movie and you can find censored movies online as well.
I'm not saying they're halal, let's be clear. But I wouldn't go around making blanket claims that things are haram so quickly either. Find the middle ground and be easy brother(again not saying to not try to bring yourself as close to The Creator as possible, but keep in mind not everyone is the same, and what you ask of yourself isn't necessarily what can be asked of your neighbor and vice versa)

Musical instruments is prohibited on their own so it is not necessary to be accompanied by lyrics or someone singing, listening to beethoven,mozart or whatever alone is Haram without any singing or lyrics. But in this case, it is better this way to make Disney realize that if they want to push these agendas they will not get revenue from us. No movie at our theaters = no revenue from us + no agenda for us. While it is available online for whoever is willing to watch it from the banned countries.
This and because the movie focused in agendas more than having actual good characters and plot made the movie relatively flop. It did poorly compared to what Disney projected for it to do.
I stopped watching Marvel movies after End Game anyway.
Now every show on netflix has to include a gay or lesbian character. Many of the shows are either covertly anti religion or make a mockery of religion. These things are evil. Its honestly best we as muslims do not watch movies or shows and find other sources of entertainment

Correct! Rather we should always strive to increase your emaan (Faith) and to do righteous deeds dear brothers and sisters. A good way to increase emaan (Faith) is through knowledge and doing good deeds, so study the Quran and listen to people of knowledge and make salah (Prayer) on time and insha'Allah your emaan (Faith) will increase.

I would recommend Muslims avoid such content as it can corrupt our Fitrah, which tells us what is real and how the world works. Also, superpowers depicted in these movies/tv series conflict with some significant aspects of our theology, like no one knows the future except Allah. Continuously watching these shows can corrupt the fitrah to the point that prophecies of our prophet S.A.W might not seem like a big thing to a young mind.

That's something I realized too while in the movie theater watching this film. The moment I heard the gay husband say "habibi" I knew exactly what angle they were trying to get at. Listen, all forms of media always have some sort of message trying to be conveyed. We as Muslims have to be careful not to let these exposures warp our perception of reality to fit modern society and standards in place of the truth of Islam. Muslims have to push back against these portrayals in media as it is just as demeaning to be portrayed as a liberal gay advocate as a screaming terrorist, both are just projections of what the West wants us Muslims to be. There is no balanced approach, you're either "with us or against us". Muslims, we must be our own speakers and representatives whether it be on the news, social media, or big screen.

I find this a strange video because you make it seem like normal that muslims watch films and series because they are always full of haram relationships and intimate scenes. I used to listen to music, watch movies and series regularly as a means of relaxation or enjoyment. As I've grown older, I've found that these things I've been consuming have been less and less in line with my religious, moral, and intellectual beliefs, therefore I've gradually found myself where I can't name a new musician, album, movie, or actor. This doesn't mean I wouldn't watch a good movie if one was made, or listen to new music worth my time, but it does mean one should be discerning in the media they consume as well as that which they produce(this includes social media).
To be discerning one needs to be educated, and this is a video in line with moving the ummah towards consuming high quality media, don't cut off your nose to spite your face brother.

Besides any muslim should refrain from watching movies, just based on the fact that they are haram anyway (halal movies dont get made, and this one in particular, is definitely NOT halal!), so with this being said, if a muslim still chooses to transgress and ruin the faith and relationships with Allah with these disgusting shows, then it's on them.

I never said there is anything wrong with watching movies, although there are prominent scholars who would argue otherwise in this day and age.
My comment was in reference to the movie mentioned in the video itself, which has inappropriate scenes, scantily dressed women etc. This video was clearly posted with good intention but I fear it may have an adverse impact.

A video like this is good for people who regularly watch films, but instead of this, you (the channel) should actually preach the audience to not really watch any of this, *Sort of a disclaimer in the beginning of the video., As the thing you pointed out in this video actually acts as a sublimal message or a sublimal thought put in the mind about day of judgement, and also about the lgbtq community. Almost all of Hollywood content is filled with sublimal messages.
So at first we should try and avoid as much of this as we can. But if you are interested in watching, then you need to really be aware of this.

I'm a huge marvel and dc fan and a believer Alhamdulillah. I love the comics specially the classics up to the 90s, classic movies/shows and almost all the MCU (aside from captain marvel and eternals) For the most part they contain good/wholesome and positive values and stories which are inspiring and cool etc. Sadly their are haram elements like freemixing, music, revealing women because it's not made by Muslims. Take the good, leave the bad and be consicous on what you watch. Ofcourse I am very disappointed in eternals for going full woke and obviously the theme the brother was talking about is there too. But eternals is not your typical marvel movie, it's a much lesser known property of marvel, poorer quality in terms of their storylines and characters and overall its very outlandish. Its getting a review bombed and a lot backlash so at least we can show Marvel that these disturbing/disgusting themes are not wanted. I was going through the same thought process the entire movie. And it actually was very annoying to watch, because i knew exactly what they were trying to portray. Rebellion against god and the free will. People are stupidly consuming this content without giving it some thoughts.

When I started practicing islam. I soon realized I couldn't escape movies being haram. الحمدلله now I have no reason to watch them. Movies and music are so dangerous. My advice is to cut them out. We can not justify haram. I thought it wasn't possible to quit. Its been 7 months. And I have been learning the sciences of islam. Make dua, and you will be free from movies also. ان شاء الله

Completely agree brother. I also enjoy marvel movies but when it tries to give message that might have real life implications i start to compare it with my islamic knowledge of real life. And if it is not matching i discard that movie message. However problem is when people (especially young) don't have solid knowledge of real life they will accept the message regardless of its content (consciously or subconsciously). Thats why before these movies we have to learn and teach the actual islamic path and understanding of world so that it wont be affected by false (fantasy) information

Perhaps it’s wiser not to indirectly promote that which should not be seen.
He managed to highlight some possible issues seen in the movie and linked it back to Islamic values and beliefs. There are so many Muslims that watch MCU movies all over the world so not talking about it will not changr anything but a reflection on something that others might have watched or might be planning on watching is an effective grounding technique that will make Muslims think and reflect on their own values.

Muslim's should not even be watching these movies. Allah commands us to lower our gaze, and by watching these movies, you're doing the opposite of lowering your gaze. You are literally putting yourself in an environment where men are watching women who have beautified themselves as much as possible and women are watching men who have beautified themselves as much as possible. And don't say that you "aren't looking at the opposite gender with lust" because that is not exclusively what lowering your gaze means. Lowering your gaze means just that; lowering your gaze. Another issue OnePath is doing is by mixing up with Sufi "Sheikhs" and Deobandi Sheikhs. I believe One Path is not really part of such groups and they are Ahlu Sunnah but this approach I don't know what's the wisdom behind it but ther's a lot of harm coming init, especially people aqeedah gets corrupted by truth and false getting mixed and making it seem like it's okay to listen to sufi's etc.

That's unavoidable, it's fine as long as you're not negatively influenced by it. It's not necessarily a waste of time if people are still focusing on their deen. Some people use it as a way to relax in their free time - for example, coming back home after work.

If movie is fine, then watching music video is fine, just avoid the instruments and listen to lyrics, or just watch the sceneries and avoid other haram in the screen. His basic obligations, work, seeking knowledge, ibadah. If you get free time, build real relations and make real life instead of reel, go out with kids and family or friends, do good, recite, list goes on, how can hours of movie even fit in. If nothing is there to do which is never the case, go and sleep, why to manipulate wrong things in our mind, Movies beautify shirk, kufr, immorality and most things which Allah hates, it beautifies it and you're not affected by it? I'm a huge marvel and dc fan and a believer Alhamdulillah. I love the comics specially the classics up to the 90s, classic movies/shows and almost all the MCU (aside from captain marvel and eternals) For the most part they contain good/wholesome and positive values and stories which are inspiring and cool etc. Sadly their are haram elements like freemixing, music, revealing women because it's not made by Muslims. Take the good, leave the bad and be consicous on what you watch. Ofcourse I am very disappointed in eternals for going full woke and obviously the theme the brother was talking about is there too. But eternals is not your typical marvel movie, it's a much lesser known property of marvel, poorer quality in terms of their storylines and characters and overall its very outlandish. Its getting a review bombed and a lot backlash so at least we can show Marvel that these disturbing/disgusting themes are not wanted. I still love the MCU overall but am more careful on certain stories/characters post endgame. Glad I didn't bother with eternals.Wasalaam
Honestly, pretty sad you don't even give the movie a chance. Marvel is gonna continue this path. If you are a marvel fan, you'll be seeing this more often. The LGBT scene was a few minutes out of the whole movie, the intimate scene was a few seconds. As well, the whole judgement day was more a less one of those more deeper plots like how Thanos wanted to erase half the population. In this movie, it was more on the lines "do we let a celestial be born so they can create billions of more worlds, but that would mean the end of humanity, or do we kill a celestial to save humanity." They were conflicted about it, so much so Ikaris killed himself at the end since he inevitably helped to kill a celestial, going against his own morals and beliefs. As well, Arishem the judge has stated that he uses Eternals memories of past missions in order to program more Eternals and learn from their experiences. This movie is meant to make you question on how you would handle dilemmas and how they might conflict with your morals.
Imagine you create a robot to do something for you and someday that robot start to against you. That is what Arshim feels

I appreciate and encourage these kinds of videos because many Muslims are undeniably watching these movies and Hollywood tends to encourage individual freedom over religious beliefs (subliminally)and this might have an affect of the psychology of the Muslim youth. These videos which provide the Muslim perspectives and respones to this imagery are necessary beyond belief.

Here in Pakistan, guys (high school and university teens mostly) begin conversations with other guys with 'jani/janu' or 'meri jaan' (literally 'my life') meaning 'my dear' or 'my beloved'-NOT in a gay sense but as a term of endearment.
