Salams everyone, Insha'Allah there is no confusion the title states that Umar Ibn Abdel Aziz is the 'fifth rightly guided Caliph' so he's not technically the fifth caliph but rather he is the fifth 'rightly guided' caliph. If you are still confused, just watch the entire video as we explain this. Jazaks.
Jzk khairun.
This video and the way it was delivered 👌🏽10/10.
We have a rich and diverse Muslim culture with lots of great personalities. More videos please brothers and sisters. This one left me wanting more!
Fifth rightly guided caliph was Hasan ibn 'Ali (May Allah be pleased with him).
Rasoolullah ﷺ had predicted that he'd bring peace between two groups of muslims. His khilafah period was of six months.
@@amp7930 Hassan (May Allah be please with him) was a Khalifa for 6 months but Scholars count Ali and Hassan's (May Allah be please with them both) Khilafa as one.
@@amp7930 indeed he رضي الله عنه was but technically he is not considered a khalifah because he رضي الله عنه was a substitute for Ali رضي الله عنه for those six months
"Salams" " Jazaks"? Who is typing this a 10 year old? Please be careful and type those words( Dua) correctly.
Malik Ibn Dinar said: When ‘Umar Ibn ‘Abdul ‘Aziz was entrusted to the Caliphate the shepherds in the hills of the mountains said: “Who is the righteous caliph that has been appointed to look after the people ?” Some said to them: “Who told you about that?”. They said: “Because, if a righteous caliph was to be appointed to look after the people, then the wolves and lions would leave off our sheep.”
The nobility (karomah) of a noble person....this is related to aqeedah
exageration, urban legends
@@abdelhakyac7285 you probably said that to every noble person's story huh
SubhanAllah
What a joke
Look at this MAN. MAN... this is what we need now.
Point of correction: He is the Sixth, Hassan (R.A.) is the Fifth
Good point
You said nothing but Truth
Agreed
Sadaqta ya akhi may Allah reward all 6 and reunite us with them.
But was he able to become a Khalifa? Didn't he die before getting the Khilafah?
This made me shed tears. SubhanAllah what a person!! may Allah have mercy upon Umar ibn Abdul Aziz.
I already know him a great caliph indeed and we badly need someone like him in our time
This made me weep 💔. Plz add subtitles, if you can

Goosebumps. Mashallah.
This was so interesting! This series is amazing mashAllah! JazakAllahu kherian!
Mashallah, what a man.
Allahu Akbar! I learned and loved!
Ma Shaa Allah! Just beautiful! Jazak Allah Khair! I never knew about Umar Ibn Abdel Aziz till I watched this clip.
My otherwise high personal opinion of Omar Ibn Khattab (Ral.) has always been overshadowed by a recurring image of him that I just could not obliterate from my memory. This haunted me for many years. This clip has served to mitigate the negativity of that image to a very great extent. Alhamdhulillah! The image was of a tall and powerfully well-built man with a large beard carrying his very young daughter toward a hole in the ground, that he had dug. The daughter innocently pats off the sand that has lodged in the beard of her father. The rest is history. This happened long before Omar Ibn Khattab (Ral.) embraced Islam.
Today, by virtue of what his grandson achieved during his lifetime, following the footsteps of the much honored Caliph Umar Ibn Khattab, in the vast realm of Islamic governance, justice and integrity, I will mercifully be able to lay this negative image to rest. May Allah (swt) bless and guide us all. Ameen!
Ps. If anyone should feel uncomfortable with the above please respond and I will remove this post.
The True Fifith Caliph is Al-Hassan bin Ali رضي الله عنه. He ruled for 6 months. And even prophet Muhammad peace upon him said: خلافة النبوة ثلاثون شهراً
Abu-baker ruled: 2 years and 3 months
Omar: ruled 10 years and 6 months
Othman: 12 years
Ali: 4 years and 9 months
Hassan: 6 monthes
In total exactly 30 years as the prophet said

There is no doubt that Hassan was The 5th Caliph but Umar bin Abdul Azeez is regarded the fifth rightly guided khalifa (The Mehdi Muhammad bin Abdullah will be the last Khalif) as It was narrated that Jaabir ibn Samurah said: I entered upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) with my father, and I heard him say: “This matter will not end until there have been among them twelve caliphs.” Then he said something that I could not hear, and I said to my father: What did he say? He said: “All of them will be from Quraysh.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (no. 7222); Muslim (no. 1821).
" No doubt that Hassan was the 5th Caliph, but Umar ibn Abdulaziz was the fifth rightly guided khalifa", which kind of implies that the member of AhlulBayt and Ahlul Kisa was not rightly guided?!
May Allah swt reward Umar ibn Abdulaziz for returning Fadak to Ahlulbayt to whom it rightly always belonged.

@@bayyinahawesome415 sorry i don't understand?? btw the khilafat of 4 and 5 considering it 1 creates confusion ... chronological: ALI and then HASAN (May ALLAH have mercy and peace on them both) and then UMER (May ALLAH have mercy and peace on him) especially when one has SHIA friends...and having to teach them about the other side

Finally
I am not a scholar nor an intellectual, just because I love this deen of Allah I try to gain knowledge about this religion,
Other then one thing I agree with you 100%,thats the 5th rightly guided caliph being Umar ibn Abdul Aziz.I have no grude against Umar II,I love him and it is part of my faith,He was the first Muhadith agreed upon,But:Ibn Al-Tahimmiya is claimed by many Salafis as Imam,he done a very good work against Rawafidh,he wrote in his book Minhaj-us-Sunnah that After Abu Bakr,Umar,Usman and Ali(R.A.A) Hassan ibn Ali was the 5th rightly guided caliph whose reign ended up after 6 months as a result of peace treaty,Ibn Al-Tahimmiya also wrote Muawiya ibn Abi-Sufyan and Yazid ibn Muawiya were not (khalifa-e-Rashid) rightly guided caliphs but the (Maliks) kings of Islam.

It has been narrated on the authority of 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abd Rabb al-Ka'ba who said:
I entered the mosque when 'Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al-'As was sitting in the shade of the Ka'ba and the people had gathered around him. I betook myself to them and sat near him. (Now) Abdullah said: I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) on a journey. We halted at a place. Some of us began to set right their tents, others began to compete with one another in shooting, and others began to graze their beasts, when an announcer of the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) announced that the people should gather together for prayer, so we gathered around the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ). He said: It was the duty of every Prophet that has gone before me to guide his followers to what he knew was good for them and warn them against what he knew was bad for them; but this Umma of yours has its days of peace and (security) in the beginning of its career, and in the last phase of its existence it will be afflicted with trials and with things disagreeable to you. (In this phase of the Umma), there will be tremendous trials one after the other, each making the previous one dwindle into insignificance. When they would be afflicted with a trial, the believer would say: This is going to bring about my destruction. When at (the trial) is over, they would be afflicted with another trial, and the believer would say: This surely is going to be my end. Whoever wishes to be delivered from the fire and enter the garden should die with faith in Allah and the Last Day and should treat the people as he wishes to be treated by them. He who swears allegiance to a Caliph should give him the piedge of his hand and the sincerity of his heart (i. e. submit to him both outwardly as well as inwardly). He should obey him to the best of his capacity. It another man comes forward (as a claimant to Caliphate), disputing his authority, they (the Muslims) should behead the latter. The narrator says: I came close to him ('Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al-'As) and said to him: Can you say on oath that you heard it from the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم )? He pointed with his hands to his ears and his heart and said: My ears heard it and my mind retained it. I said to him: This cousin of yours, Mu'awiya, orders us to unjustly consume our wealth among ourselves and to kill one another, while Allah says: O ye who believe, do not consume your wealth among yourselves unjustly, unless it be trade based on mutual agreement, and do not kill yourselves. Verily, God is Merciful to you (iv. 29). The narrator says that (hearing this) Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al-As kept quiet for a while and then said: Obey him in so far as he is obedient to God; and diqobey him in matters involving disobedience to God.

look every human makes mistakes that the first thing so even if he makes mistakes allah will forgive him be cause he was one the scholars and the leaders of islam and for that the prophet said (إذا حَكَمَ الحاكِمُ فاجْتَهَدَ ثُمَّ أصابَ فَلَهُ أجْرانِ، وإذا حَكَمَ فاجْتَهَدَ ثُمَّ أخْطَأَ فَلَهُ أجْرٌ) bukhary narrated the hadith

and he was of the revelation writers the prophet told him to write so he is still better than omar
and being a king is not something that is not good because he was a justice king infact muslim scholars say that he is the best in islam after the 5 khalifahs(abu bakr and omar and othman and ali and al hasan) even better than omar ibn abd al aziz (even if omar was a khal if) ibn taymiyah said that and other than him

Why there is background music brother?
Good video very informative but Can you please remove the background music 🎶, its very unnecessary.
Hi, i have an advice for the sake of allah i hope it has a lestening ears,
Is putting background sounds that seem like they are music a good thing? I think that it creates confusion to the muslims and especially of the not so religiuos ones, that they might think that these background sound are music and assume that music isn't haram. Allah knows best
I don't disagree with your point.
But, if we are going to talk about the not religious ones, then let them fix their Fard and Wajib first before going to the 'grey' matters.
If they fail to establish their Fard to begin with, regardless of how much such videos confuse then or not, they aren't going to learn Islam either way.
Right brother 100% in fact even the human sounds that get montage so it sound like music is forbidden (haram)

*Who Elects/Select Caliph ?* *Any Body ?*
At the time of Rashidun Caliphate they would choose the best person among them whose reputation is very good in all aspects. Sadly, after that the caliphate would be inherited from father to son or brother which is not the sunnah (practice) of the prophet and the companions

True , if one try to insult him then that person is doubtly from Ahlus Sunnah
How do we know all this is nothing but the truth?
Allah tells Mohammad pbuh that he is not witness to many things we never heard about a new calif in my last 50 years
Al-Hassan رضي الله عنه and Muawiyah رضي الله عنه are better than Umar Ibn Abul-Aziz رحمه الله and we love all of them.

Maybe he is 6 caliphate not 5
We can’t take away Imam Hassan from his title.
I’m not Shia btw
Did they curse Ali Radhi'Allahu'anh??
But shias still curse abu bakr and omar. lanat lanat lnat on shias
Yeah muawia r.a started that and finally hazrat umar bin abdul aziz r.a abolished it
So Hazrat Hassan(R.A) wasn't right guided caliph?
So as per your research hasan bin ali was not the righteous calipha. Do more research.
Cmon fifth rightly guided? What happend to Hassan and Husayn???
Look hasan yes he is the 5th but hussaim wasnt khalif he is just a companien
Situations on Ukraine’
5th is IMAAM E HASAN Radiallahutaala anh, ofcourse UMAR Ibne ABDUL AZIZ Radiallahutaala anh was GREAT!!
after Ali ibn talib rA was Hassan rA
I don't get it. So those who say Hassan Ali was the fifth caliph are Shia? or... what?
Both opinions are okay
For the record, in the school of thought of you were mentioning it's not Shia. As they believe he's the 2nd successor after Imam Ali (AS)
No shia believe he was 2nd imam sunnis accept him as 5th caliph rightly guided
Masha Allah, he stopped cursing 'Ali' that was played in Sham (Syria, Palestine, Jordon, and etc, if im not mistaking it could be more, or less) every friday in the pulpit for almost 60+ years. Then again Imam Hassan AS peace treaty was to stop it, and give caliphate to Imam Hassan AS if he was alive, if not then to give to Hazrat Imam Hussain AS. But he gave it to Yazid.
and broke all terms eitherway,
Umar Ibn Abdel Aziz loved Imam Baqir AS, and ahlulbayte AS, so he gave Fadak to the Ahlulbayte (AS).
If you have answer to this then answer if not, then why delete this comment if you do.
hes the 6th rightly guided, 5th was Hussan
@onepathnetwork... Asalamualiakum brother....why to have such titles which creates confusion and choas. Today there are lot of fitnas among Muslim Ummah, your assumption that people will get this title after watching your whole video will create divide among ummah...I was listening to a lecture of Dr.Israr Ahmed Rahmatullalah...he said when Hazrat Ali R.A was attacked and before he left this world, muslims of the time approached him and asked him can we pledge allegiance to Imam Hasan A.S, he replied it is your wish what you want to do and Dr Israr Ahmed rahmatullalalah said he is 5th khalifah raashid of islam because like the first four (R.A) he was choosen by people in similar way and he remained Khalifah for 6 months.. so brother try to simplify things for Muslim Ummah rather than making things complex....we should take care of that class of muslims who may not be so well read about islam this can mislead them easily, may Allah guide you me and all muslim ummah and make us follow one true path of islam taught by Beloved prophet Muhammad pbuh Ameen and make our hearts full of love for Ahle Bait and righteous companions of Beloved prophet Muhammad pbuh Ameen ya rabul alamin... ❤️

@@soheil527 Peace be upon you, I'm one of the ignorant if you're keen to see my answers then I'll answer you, however, if you're not keen for my answer I might not answer, as it might cause an argue and not in the way of Allah SWT and why should we sin when talking as brother, and were not uniting in sha Allah we reunite, so you decide brother. God is a witness over all things, and the witness is also the judge.
to BRAIN WASH people bcoz of muawiya (R.A) was in power and continue the system of Tyrants . thats why he appointed his son Yazeed as king without any council or discusion with people . Muawiya ( R.a ) is one who ruined the system of calipha

When planting your seeds make sure you look for the fertile soil to plant on because this will bring fought righteous fruits!
Allahu Akbar!!!
The fifth rightly guided Caliph of this Ummah is none other than Hassan ibn Ali(a.s), because as Prophetﷺ prophecied that Rashidun Caliphate will remain for 30 years after hisﷺ death, and exactly after 30 years - in the same month of Rabbiul awwal - Imam Hassanؑ gave up his Khilafa to power hungry Umayyads and it ended the Rightly guided era and then whole lots of corruption took over in Ummah. Hazrat Umar ibn Abdul Aziz(r.a) is the *sixth* rightly guided Caliph, please correct yourself.

You are wrong , 5th caliphate of Islam was Al Hassan RA .
