Like Steve's new haircut 👍👍 he doesn't look so old.
Mike's cut is a little shorter 😅
Mike has a 🍑 fuzz cut.. 😂😂
I agree. He looks sharp!
suddenly steve looks the part instead of the misfit.
I like him better as a hippie!
Great video, I love these "Week in the life" vids. They restore the reality of running a business and juggling life's day to day responsibilities.
Taking the kids at the car show, made me smile. Brings me back to the million questions mine would have, whenever we went to a show, or to look at a car.
That time goes by to fast and I sure do miss it now
Steve’s new look is outstanding..watch out for the ladies now ! ❤
I think he is married
Ladies gonna be ladies.
@@upptowne Yes, he is married, but the ladies do prefer a clean looking guy compared to a
unkept one. Clean cut wins out every time with the ladies.
Awesome progress in a week, I thought you had Mike Bello in the shop, then I realized Jim had gotten a hair cut! Great car and truck shows as well!
At 35:54 the yellow "Niagra" salt truck brought back fond memories.
That thing can push a huge blade on the front, while the little gizmo behind and below catches salt from above, spins and salts the road behind it.
Lookin sharp Steve. Like an old timey hot rodder !
Steve's got it high & tight for Summer !!!
"Week in the life" episodes are among my favorites. Sons, fathers, nephews and friends. All important connections for us guys. The young ones learn from the older ones and vice-versa!
14 comments on the cars and parts, 4000 comments on Steve's hair. It's pretty obvious who we love more... you guys!
the challenges/problems = a learning experience and acquiring knowledge - great video, thanks!
What a great work week! Love the model A engine. A great historic piece! Cool stuff.
That 35 rollback was beautiful!
What an improvement with Steve's hair cut , looks so much better 👌
Saw a little child labor there at the end - the best kind. 😊
loved the truck show! you guys are blessed, my car days were the best time of my life, thanks for all the entertainment! kudos from nc.
That Mack TEXACO truck is a beauty!
Definitely our favorite!
Lots of good stuff happenin at Iron Trap this week! 😎👍 Should start a collection for a case of black primer spray bombs for Mike's Cabrolet! You guys have just gotten too used to lookin at that fugly car! 😂😂😂
Great episode, Steve’s new hair, high and tight !
I liked that big truck show. At 32:04, it looked like the "Movin' On" Kenworth from the old 70s tv show. I have the original AMT model kit and a pair of AMT box trailer kits. The old man and my grandfather both drove over the road so it's sorta in the blood.
2 unrelated thoughts. 1)Steve looks great. 2)Any update on Jason's truck?
Man Mike you sure have a lot of parts, good luck 👍
The White Coups reminds mew of Stock Cars I saw racing in the 50s , I was hoping You would put the Bangere in Something
Neat li'l 4 banger. That would be nice in a drop tank. Happy Fathers day to all of you guys.
Almost didn't recognize that clean cut hatless dude in the green shirt working on the green roadster and banger engine! :)
Steve is looking good! You’re going to have women hanging around! Mike’s kids are a joy. They grow up fast.
Hell with Steve's haircut, did yah buy the D'uce? Sling an engine, 'box an' axle in it and send it down the East Coast roads again!??? Didyah? :D That Coupe looks so sweet it hurts!
I really enjoy the week in the life episodes. Well done !
*excellent* video guys! warehouse crew busting ass, steve lookin sharp with his new do, itg family. all good stuff and moondog with his buddy as an outro.
Just watched the ruined roadster sounds awsome hell of a lot milder with the caps in
Steve, the hair cut looks great!! Very slick and retro.
Looks like a great week and 'yall got haircuts 😀
I've got to get to that truck show one of these days!
Thank you Matt , Mike and Steve for the update on how things are going there in Pennsylvania !
AWESOME truck show!!
These weekly reviews are my favorite ITG videos. So interesting!
Look out ladies, hot rod guys with classic hair cuts are about to cruise around town.
That 1902 Mack is beautiful!
Very impressive Steve got a haircut!
He looks like a new mam indeed.
Matt, I just had the same pertronix problem. I mismatched the ohm rating on my coil to the pertronix unit series number, and it burned out the same way you described. Ran fine for 18 years, I swapped coils, and it burned it out after a few drives. Took me a minute to figure out the new coil was for a pertronix 2 module, not the 1, the lower ohm rating burned up the 1 module. Put a 2 module in, working fine again! Love all your content, keep it up.
Good to see Steve’s face dapper dude !
Cool video. Hope you're havin' fun. Steve cleans up nicely! He even lost the baseball cap!😁
Happy Father’s Day Mike!
Mike and Steve got summer haircuts!
These week long videos are a great change up. Keep them coming
Summer Hair cut crew at Iron trap garage 👍
I enjoyed this one. (all of em really). One thing I noticed (other than a very smart looking Steve) was the patinated look hasn't permeated into the old Truck circles. They all look really spiffy. Enjoyed the walkarounds at the shows. Good progress on the new building too. All the best, Mart in England.
Not true. In fact the antique truck community is very into the original paint/patina thing. Lots of old survivor delivery vehicles.
Concur, Steve looks younger with the new doo.
Great Shows and Getting a lot accomplished Guys
Who’s the new guy doing Steve’s job??? Oh wait it is Steve!!LOL!!! I’m hoping that you’re feeling cooler with the hair cut Steve!!!!
Steve axed the mullet ! Looks good bud.
Wow!! Steve gotta a haircut.
Steve is looking time period with his new chop top
Thanks matt mike and steve really enjoy week in the life of videos, was getting a bit worried there for a while ,then moon made an appearance at the end .
Pertronix ignition instructions (that I've read) say not to use resistor... low voltage will eventually kill it..
you should call them for all of us..
Didn't even realize that was Steve until he talked. Haircut looks good. Transitioning into a greaser look from a muscle car guy. Any tats in the future lol. Get a V8 logo being held by a pin up like a trophy.
Wow Steve got a haircut, cool man.😅👍
Check out that SICK top chop on the 32 Steve.
WOW, Steve all cleaned up!! you guys need one of those HUGE fans for the shop. The truck sow, with all of the milk trucks, was great.
Must have been a 2 fer 1 haircut special in town. 😄
Kate is a hairdresser, she may have had something to do with it .
Anyone else notice, Steve got a radical haircut!
Steve..you look so much better and professional with your clean looking haircut. Gone is
that damn dirty looking scarecrow look. Looking great...stay with it. Best to you.😊😊😊
Steve..select a neat....not too ratty or dirty lookin cap..to wear most of the time. Let this
become the new Steve in appearance. It will become your trademark, so to speak. 😊
thank you for taking us along with to see the cars and trucks i did enjoy that plus all the other things you got done keep doing it 😎👌✌👍 and to all dads out there happy fathers day
If Glick's was open on Sunday, I would take my dad there today (fathers day), he loves that place. He gets bummed out if he finds out I went there without him. He's 80.
Glicks is Mennonite, closed Sundays.
if your car is another coil failure......
when this happened to me (multiple coil failures - ran great. stumbled. died. replace coil. repeat.) i finally diagnosed it to the wrong rotor. it fit fine (mallory distributor) but it was jumping about a 1/4" gap. took me a year and a dozen coils. it would run great for weeks and die. after (finally figuring it out) installing the correct rotor on same setup for last 15 years.
It's about time Steve got a haircut!! Now you can take him out in public! 😂😂😂
Whoa, Steve cut his hair! 🙂
Just a bit of advice, if I could. ALWAYS open the truck window when backing up so you can hear anyone yell. You never know what'll happen back there.
Wow! That 55' gasser @3:12 was bitchin!
Steve cut his hair-dramatically. Summertime!
Moon is always good for a smile!
Looks like several new haircuts there at the Garage.
I think you should buy the white 5 window coup. 32 33 34 ? I love it.
Steve, Great hair cut!!
From old hippy to man about town. Looking good, Steve
Hey Steve great Haircut
Excellent video! These are my favorite ones to watch.
Awesome and nice haircut 👍
Looking good Steve, Matt I think Mike should get a little extra in his check for moving all the treasures from the warehouse. It has to be overwhelming for him. Blessings from Larry smith
Good to see that Mike had his boys with him at the event, but sad to see the 32 coupe ruined by channeling.
Mikes kids will be the cool kids at school when dad drives them in the '34 Cabriolet. This is a VERY rare body, so it's good to see that it has been reassembled again.
Steve, you"ve done your Barnet at last.
same problem with no spark. turned out to be the coil wire (from coil to distributor). failing as engine reached operating temps. the resistance will increase with heat and at some point the spark will arc to ground somewhere before it reaches the distributor. symtom is that instead of a single cylinder failing to fire, as it does when one or two sparkplug wires fail, which may not be all that bad or even noticeable on a v8, ALL cylinders will fail at once which creates a LOT of severe bucking.
i wasted a LOT of time and money with buying parts and trying to diagnose my new electronic distributor (123). was also double and triple checking timing and fuel delivery. ...waste of time. try a different coil to distributor wire.
i had just installed a new set of wires not more than three thousand miles and six months prior, so i only half-heartedly tested them. ...big mistake.
Nice haircut Steve you look good LOL
With that neat haircut, Steve's going to need a t-shirt with a drawing of a magnet on it - and the word 'chick' above it.
I would have to have bought that coupe.
Thumbs up on the new haircut Steve 😊
Great work!
Get a scintilla Vertex Magneto one wire electric one wire one wire
Omg Steve look looking much better with his hair cut
Was much more common for a condenser to fault when it was Hot rather than a coil prior to electronic ignition. Electronics changing value under heat stress drove more men out of the repair business than any other thing if the truth could be known I, SUSPECT. My passion was 1960s Pontiacs however I sure would like to know the value of that white FORD without an engine now that I understand why hot rodding became a hobby and have read Henry's history
This one's for Matt I still can't wait every week for the show to come on it is I'm serious the best show I have ever seen it's just totally awesome you guys are real there's no bulshit and it's just an awesome awesome UA-cam channel I love it keep up the good work guys
Hi Mike hey if you run across a good 4 cylinder old Flathead call sleeper dude it's got a UA-cam channel and it's and it's a big Channel he's got a lot of people bought an old model T and the engine is working on has no compression he's did the valves and everything so he needs an engine thanks buddy I appreciate it he would appreciate it too if you could find one
I wish I could find another 1959 ford pick up. I looked at one a very long time ago. A Thunder bird special under the hood . My step Dad would not help Me get it . Believe it or not the asking price was $400.00 . Today it would be like $4000.00 .
Those front downspouts will generate alot of rain runoff.
We have a water runoff drain getting put in. One thing at a time.
I know those racks they're a pain in the butt to move those crossbars you got to pull that little pain in the back and then hopefully they come out LOL but they work good we accidentally put some salt in a pallet and eroded a whole bunch of it
Damn. Steve done stole the comments! Haha
Everyone's getting haircuts. Must be getting warm in Pennsylvania
Great video guy's 😅
Love your videos / besr regards from Norway
Not had bad coils hurt Pertronix, let us know what you find. Coils built for vertical mount sometimes don't last long horizontal but usually give a lot of warning before they give up entirely.
Coils can be laid down but the terminals need to be horizontal
How did the rod dipper tray get filled before start?
