- Ivan Rebroff was an amazing german singer, who sang russian folk music and a lot of musical styles, like opera. His high vocal range was wide for a bass. He was able to reach notes from bass to soprano. About his low notes, About his low notes, Ivan would go deeper than you're supposed to believe.

PS.: This is his vocal range with the notes that he has released, maybe he could hit higher or lower notes.

We are kind of in the generation who are surprised by male vocalists able to reach those pure high tones.
Ivan Rebroff talent was unique. My parents used to go to many of his shows.
Now judges of talent shows like Simon Cowell are surprised and confused to hear something like this.
But not everyone appreciates the classics.

I’d never expect the man who did the thing in the first clip do anything close to what was in the last clip so cleanly. He could definitely go above A5 if he really wanted to.

Bosona Sounds Michael Kiske, jorn Lande, Tommy Johansson, Daniel Heiman says otherwise.
Heiman has a raspy higher voice but it's artificially produced with a technqiue nearly nobody can replicate.
Bosona Sounds I'm a metal singer myself and can pull off a clean, a bit nasal but still clean, sustained B5.

I used to have an LP record of his songs. He had an amazing range and ALL of it was well controlled with no discernible breaks anywhere.

F1 absoluter Wahnsinn diese Tiefe, da haben meine Boxen Probleme mit der Wiedergabe.

True he was. I am Bass-baritone. I bottom out around D2 sometimes C2 but even in falsetto I can't even get close to that (F4 maybe)

Not to discredit him or anything (4 and a half octaves is still amazing) but vocal range usually refers to chest voice, that is how it's usually measured as far as I'm aware, because if you include falsetto and subharmonics and what not it starts to get complicated.

JJ, por exemplo, eu não consigo fazer algumas notas abaixo do D2 sozinho, mas com a ajuda do piano, consigo um E1, às vezes, um C1, mas é raro...
Alcanço algumas notas agudas, até o C6, chego na voz de cabeça.
Também aprendi a fazer whistle register há alguns dias (feliz demais!)
Agora meu vocal range é D2-G6.
Me responde essa duvida?

Fui fazendo algumas escalas e fui subindo mais e mais, só notei que tava fazendo whistle quando vi que tava fazendo E6, F6, notas que eu nunca conseguiria fazer se fosse em voz de cabeça...

Ну я ж баритон. У меня и низов-то нет, как таковых. Но я наконец понял, как брать свои нижние ноты. Раньше я их давил, а сейчас продуваю. Так что если раньше у меня были проблемы с соль большой, то сейчас могу и фа диез/фа петь. С утра в основном была ми, иногда ми бемоль, а уже второе утро свободно продуваю ре, и немного ре бемоль.
Александр Майданюк я продувать вообще не могу чисто из-за физиологии. У меня всегда низы на полном смыке.

It's not bass to soprano, that's almost eight oct, it's to contralto, about five octaves including his falsetto

Não acho que o range dele seja até F1,mas creio que até A1,ele pega o F com muita dificuldade,mas eh todo seu range..
A extensão vocal (vocal range) vai do F1-A5; a tessitura, que é quando entra a questão de qualidade e conforto, já é outra coisa.

its actually 4.3 octaves bc there are 12 semitones in an octave and f1 to a5 is 4 octaves and 4 semitones

Consigo ir mais baixo que esse F1(sem querer me gabar). Sempre tive o Rebroff como exemplo, principalmente para aprender a melhorar meu falsete(sofridamente alcanço um E5) e controlar melhor a voz nos graves.

This man is an anomaly. Most basses easily have an E2 but not many even have a C2

that F1 does not sound like full voice. id say Ab1 is his lowest, and that still doesn't sound too good. definitely a basso profundo, not an octavist bass. as to his high notes, theyre almost all in falsetto.
I've never understood all the fuss about this singer. I find him amateurish and more suited to musical comedy than opera or "classical" music. His falsetto nonsense is laughable and the 'lowest' range sounds like 'sprechgesang' Jabba The Hutt style.
