i guess the best toothpaste is the one with 1450ppm of sodium flouride and with antibacterial properties. because bacteria is the one responsible of all dental problems. so i think Colgate Total is the best. i read that toothpaste with calcium lessens the potency of flouride and MFP is not as active as NAF.

Doc, any thoughts about the Close Up Red Hot Gel Toothpaste? Is mint toothpaste (e.g. close up red) better than a plain white toothpaste (e.g. colgate maximum cavity protection)? Thanks po!

Doc Mayang, what brand of toothpaste do you suggest is the best to use?
Any brand po basta po may Flouride. Colgate, Close up, Happy, Creat etc are all regulated. I suggest choose the original/classic formulation. No other extra additives.
Doc it’s ok to use Unique toothpaste po?
D b po may mga code ung toothpaste sa lalagyan nila may red, blue, green at black may nabili kc aq code nya is color white po safe po b un?

Paano po ung baby 8 months old.na di pa kaya dumura.ok lang ba ang flouride?
Happy New Year po! Ang 8 months old po ay nag uumpisa nang kumain ng solid foods kaya kailangan na pong malinis na ang mga milk teeth na nag uumpisang lumabas. Ito po ay makukumpleto ( 20 milk teeth; 10 sa taas at 10 sa baba) bago ang sanggol ay maging 2 taong gulang. May mabibili po na toothbrush na pwede sa babies at toothpastes na pang babies na walang flouride . Hindi ko po ma rerecommend na gamitin ninyo ang adult toothpastes bec the taste may be too spicy for your baby; the flouride content po is not formulated for babies and babies tend to suck everything that they put in their mouth. Ang importante po kahit walang toothpaste ay matanggal ninyo ang mga naiwang pagkain sa bibig sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng toothbrush for babies; meron po toothbrush na malalambot at inilalagay sa daliri ng nag-aalaga or paggamit ng malinis na tela para mapunasan at maalis ang natitirang pagkain sa bibig ng baby. I also suggest na painumin ng tubig ang baby pagkatapos kumain at uminom ng gatas. I hope I am able to make things clearer in taking care of your baby’s teeth…
