I build the Lexus your wife sat in at Toyota Indiana. If you want my personally opinion they’re very nice but all it is, is an overpriced Toyota Grand Highlander. They’re both the same vehicle with very minimal changes, actually are built on the same line. Most parts are all the same. Like I said they’re nice but if you want to save a few bucks go with the Toyota Grand Highlander.

I agree with some other commenters. Your wife looks great in that Lexus. She was so happy to be in the drivers seat of that SUV. I i used to work for Toyota for 15 years. Also did a lot of work with Lexus as well because they are basically the same company just different levels of quality and parts. I drove the Lexus brand is definitely high quality and I always recommend them if it’s your budget. I say go for it Ryan. She definitely deserves it!!

RYAN, You didn't even look at the Mazda 9 AWD it's a knock out. As a car guy, I'd say the FORD is the best choice for Safety alone. I saw a CRUSH Test on U Tube, that's correct, I said CRUSH they Ran an 18 wheeler at 60 mph ! into a line up of suv's For test purposes.The FORD was the only one that had a 90% chance of survival. All the rest were flattened. You need her and the children to be safe as possible. Good work, stay at it.

Happy Birthday Mrs T 🥳🥳 she is one special lady , I love my 2020 Infinity QX60 with 3 row , that’s after Totaling my Chevy Yukon XL , my husband asked them to get me something big for my rental after the accident and they gave me the Infinity QX60 and I was I love ❤ so that’s what we bought,, since he recently passed away I’ve had to make sure I keep it maintained and it’s still perfectly fine and I hardly ever need gas. No little kids they are all in their late 30s and 40s so probably the reason why it’s in excellent condition 😄
I think the Lexus would be a very suitable fit for her! More practical of a decision! She already has a Toyota and a Lexus is a step up!! Keep it consistent! She deserves it!

IVe owned 4 Lexus suvs over the past 10 years. I lease them for 3 yeas at a time. I have never been disappointed in any of them. Good car quality . good looks and good service. They are priced nicely as well for what you get.

A few days ago my wife and I celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary. One of our secrets is weekly "date nights", and the occasional weekend getaway or vacation together. Congrats on having such a beautiful wife and children. At the end of everything else, family and faith are the only things that truly matter!
I totally agree with you. Just celebrated 34 yrs together and we did date night every 2 weeks and 1 vacation for us once a year and 1 or 2 for the family when the kids were at home.

I'm from Texas and bricked a church in Northwest Milwaukee.. while in town , i asked the GC , who was from Texas if there were any Mexican restaurants around ..he told me someone had mentioned "Chi Chi's" ..long story short , their food was awful! I actually felt sorry for the folks in Milwaukee area! I love agreat Mexican Shrimp Cocktail! A favorite! By the way , that was in 1988-89 we were in Milwauke , Winter and Spring.. we built two churches and restored three houses along the North Shore
I love this video so doggone much. Her getting excited about him winning that bear for her was so cute. Mrs. T. is awesome. Almost as cute to watch as Grace. Just cute on a different level. The guy at the end with the conditioner products gets a big thumbs up. You know he was tired, but he was still giving it his all. You have to respect that. I noticed in a video a while back Ryan had a cracked car seat. There are some products that will mend that, besides duck tape. You should start conditioning leather seats with Lexol Leather Conditioner, though. It really does help prevent that. They have leather cleaner also although saddle soap works as well.

The ford 3.5 and 3.7 have the water pump inside the engine and typically need replaced at 100k and it cost 3 to 5k for the work. The transmission's are also week in some models that have all wheel drive.

In our area, Ford Explorers are known as gas guzzlers and high maintenance (in the shop all the time). Toyota Highlander(LE or XLE): I have had several, never any issues! Highly recommend! I like gas too! Consumer reports has a great magazine on comparisons of vehicles. Very informative!
I will second the gas guzzler part of your statement. I dont drive a consumer Explorer, but I have experience with the Interceptors. Before this, I drove a Durango Interceptor and a Charger Interceptor. Both were fairly decent on gas, having to fill up maybe once a shift depending on the day. Now, if i drive across the county in this Explorer, I'm worried i may run out of gas. I have to fill up literally 3-4 times a shift with this thing. It averages like 11 MPG. But its not my gas or money so i cant complain. I always wondered if the consumer versions of the Explorers were the same or not. I'd avoid it if they are anything like the Interceptors.

Definitely go with the Lexus, but don't go with the hybrid option. After the warranty is up you're not going to like the maintenance and repair costs.
